"Hey Gusion!" Claude called him.

"Hey dude." He greeted back.

Claude saw his indicator. It was still a half empty heart.

"You still haven't find yourself? Dude, everyone in our circle already found ours!" Claude exclaimed.

Gusion just shrugged and sighed, "Maybe I'm meant to be alone in my whole life."

"Oh, here he is. How unfortunate, he is so good looking but he still didn' find his soulmate." He heard the people around him murmur.

"Maybe you should settle with Guin already even though she's not your soulmate. Many people do that because finding yourself has a small probability. We are just lucky to find ours." Claude said.

He let out a grim expression, "I'd rather be single in my whole life than spending my life with that brat." He said before leaving Claude.

"Mom, I'm home." Gusion said upon entering their house but he heard other voices aside from his mother's.

"Oh, hey Gusion. Welcome home." His mother greeted him, "We have visitors today! Do you remember our neighbor before? Well, they are now back here!"

He frowned, "Neighbor?"

"Les... ley?" He muttered and at the same time, someone came out from the rest room.

"Oh, here she is!" His mother exclaimed before pulling the girl in front of him.

The pinkette wasn't still looking at him but he could see her indicator. It was also a half empty heart— meaning, she had not find her soulmate too.

"Isn't it destiny for both of you to meet again?" His mother exclaimed.

That made them looked at each other's eyes. And when their gazes locked, both of their indicators became a full heart.

POV wherein you are given a special ability on your 18th birthday.

Please, a useful ability. A useful ability. Lesley chanted in her mind while waiting for her special ability to be revealed.

She heard a ting! so she opened her eyes to see her ability.

She frowned upon knowing it.

Ability to know people's greatest wish.

"Oh wow, that's uhh..." Lesley mumbled before shaking her head, "I guess it's fine." She said before going downstairs.

"Mom, I'm off to school!" She said as she went near her mother to kiss her goodbye.

"Bye sweetie." Her mom said and kissed her cheek.

Lesley looked up when she saw something above her mother's head.

Lesley and Harley's success and happiness in their lives. She read.

She was touched upon knowing her mother's greatest wish.

She hugged her mom tightly and said her goodbye again before going out of the house.

Lesley arrived at school and the first one she saw was Chou.

"Hey Les!" Chou greeted her.

She motioned the two to come closer to her and whispered, "Alright, I'm gonna tell you my special ability but don't regret knowing it."

"I can read someone's greatest wish and both of your greatest wish are very cute." Lesley continued and giggled again.

Both Irithel and Claude gasped and pulled away from her. They looked at each other and blushed.

"Hey Lessie!" Guinevere greeted her. "I heard you already got your special ability. What is it?"

Lesley was about to answer Guin's question when she read the thing above her.

To be Gusion's girlfriend.

She smiled at her, "It's nothing special. Oh, by the way, Gusion will be late today. He said he has to take care of something."

Guinevere's face lighted up, "Oh, thank you for the information Lessie! See you later!"

Lesley sighed when Guinevere left.

I guess I have to distance myself from my best friend Gusion from now on— who also to be one I'm in love with. I don't want to hurt Guin and destroy her greatest wish.

Lunch came and when Lesley was finding a table, someone nudged her.

"Hey best friend!" Gusion greeted her cheerfully.

"Oh, hey." Lesley said, avoiding him.

When she found a vacant table, she quickly sat there. But unfortunately, her best friend followed her and sat also with her.

"Are you avoiding me? Did I do something wrong?" She heard Gusion ask.

She still refused to look at him but she knew him too well that she knew he was frowning now.

"I'm not avoiding you. Just eat." She answered, hoping that he would not know that she was lying.

But who was she kidding? Gusion's special ability was to detect lies.

"You're lying." He said, "Tell me what's wrong."

"Nothing's really wrong, Gus." Lesley sighed and looked around to see Guinevere was sitting few tables away from them. "Why don't you try to eat with Guin? She was waiting for you this morning."

"What's with Guin? Are you pairing me with her?" Gusion sounded annoyed with what she said.

"Why not? You will look good together." Lesley just shrugged, still avoiding looking at him.

"Why are you suddenly pushing me towards her? Does it have something to do with your special ability? What is it, by the way?"

"It's nothing special, it's useless anyway."

"And now you are hiding things from me. I'm hurt, Lesley Vance."

Lesley bit her tongue with that out of conscience.

She tilted her head to look at him to apologize, "Look, I'm sorry but— uhh..."

Lesley didn't get to finish what she was saying because she read Gusion's greatest wish above his head.

Gusion frowned at him, "What? Is there something above my head?"

POV wherein you know what your soulmate is currently doing.

Gusion stopped suddenly when he read something above him.

[Soulmate is getting ready for school.]

Gusion shrugged, "Well, I am too."

When he arrived at the school, Claude greeted him.

"Bud! What is your soulmate doing right now?" Claude asked.

He read above, "Walking towards her room while talking with her friend."

Claude also looked up to read what his soulmate was doing, "Bud, our soulmates are doing the same thing!"

Gusion frowned but then he shrugged it off, "Must be coincidence."

Before he entered the room, he saw that Lesley and Irithel walked inside the room from the other door.

Both of them sat on their seats while Lesley got a book and started reading.

[Soulmate is reading.]

Gusion gaped before he shook his head.

Nope, must be coincidence only. He thought as he went to his seat while still glancing at Lesley.

Lesley stopped reading and looked up, probably to read what her soulmate was doing before she looked around the room.

Before she caught him looking at her, Gusion looked away.

[Soulmate is looking around to see who is looking at her.]

At breaktime, Gusion went to the rest room. When he got out, he read what his soulmate was doing.

[Soulmate is walking towards the library.]

She must really loved reading huh. He thought and one person came to his mind but he quickly shove the thought away.

There's no way that she's my soulmate. We don't even talk at each other at all!

Gusion sighed and was startled when he saw who was walking towards him.

[Soulmate is walking towards you.]

Lesley was also seemed startled when she saw him. But she quickly smiled at him.

"Hi." She greeted him.

"Hey." He saw the books she was holding, "Going somewhere?"

She nodded, "Yeah, to the library. I'm returning these books."

[Soulmate is talking to you.]

Before Gusion could speak, Lesley already started walking.

[Soulmate is walking away from you.]

"Hey, Lesley!" He called her.

Lesley stopped walking and looked at him, "Yes?"

He took a deep breath, "Can I go with you to the library?"

Lesley was silent for second before she smiled at him, "Sure."

[Soulmate smiles and agrees with you.]

They went to the library, not to read books but actually to make out there.
