So for those who were my readers before my two books were deleted, don't be confused. HAHAHA. I'm a bit lazy to republish the old one shots XD
This should be a drabble but I decided to make it a one shot since one more drabble and this book will be drabble compilation and not one shot compilation anymorr. HAHAHAHA.

Lesley was annoyed as she dialled a local number in their office, "Ma'am Rafaela, do we have load in our company number? I can't call through our telephone."
"We do, but I don't why we can't call. I called our IT department already." Rafaela answered.
(A/N: Just in case you'll be confused, you can still call through telephone if you will call the local numbers inside the office since you only have one network.)
"Alright, thanks Ma'am." Lesley said and put down the telephone with a huff.
Great, I have no choice but to use my personal number.
She hated using her personal number to their sub-contractors, clients and other personnel involving work. Because they were contacting her even during her rest days.
Lesley was a registered civil engineer and now working as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction company. She was the who did the project estimates on their client and monitor the project progress as well as ensuring that the materials for the project were sufficient.
And now, there was a problem in one of her sites. The left-wing of the glass entrance door couldn't be opened. What made the thing worse was that, the building had its own contractor for glass works. She was having a hard time since she couldn't send a message or call the number of the glass contractor since it was already mentioned that there was a problem on their company network.
Grabbing her phone, she texted the number first— asking if she could call him. She was always like this— asking people she first time to contact since it was kinda rude to call out of nowhere without any notice.
Hi Sir Tigreal, this is Engr. Lesley from Perihelion Construction Corporation, contractor of Starlight Convenience Store. I have some thing to raise to you regarding the glass door at Unit 121 in Crescent Corporate Center building. May I call you to discuss this thoroughly? Thank you.
She hit the send button and went back to the bill of quantities she still needed to finish.
But afternoon came and there was still no response from Mr. Tigreal.
Sighing, she had no choice but to call him.
But then the project-in-charge of their client called her.
Sighing, she answered the call, "Good afternoon Engr. Granger."
Granger was a registered mechanical engineer in Starlight Convenience Store— Construction Department.
"Good afternoon Engr. Lesley, any updates about the glass door issue at Crescent?" Granger said.
Lesley rolled her eyes. He just gave her the contact details this morning and now he was asking updates already.
"I'm trying to contact him Sir." She said even though she badly wanted to be rude.
"Noted Ma'am. Please tell him to rush this one because the opening of the store will be this Friday."
And it's Wednesday now. And to think you just gave the contact number. We are just asking a favor from the glass contractor, for the love of God! Lesley thought as she massaged her temple, trying to lessen her stress.
Sighing, she had no choice but to remain calm even though she wanted to smack his face. "Noted Sir."
She waited for him to end the call before she groaned and messed her hair out of her frustration.
"What happened?" Irithel asked her, probably noticed her frustration.
Irithel was also a registered civil engineer and also a quantity surveyor like her. It was just that, Irithel was handling projects for their another client.
"This Granger was stressing the hell out of me. He calls as if it's always need to be prioritized. And as if we can do whatever he says in just a snap!" Lesley complaint.
(A/N: The engineer-in-charge of the client I handle is really like this. HAHAHA. After every conversation, I was like "Tangina nitong engineer na 'to." [Trans: Fuck this engineer.] HAHAHAHAHAHA.)
That made Irithel also frowned, "He is the new mechanical engineer of Starlight, right?"
"Yes." She answered while grabbing her phone once again to message Sir Tigreal.
Glancing at the time on her personal computer, she sighed when she saw it was almost three hours before the end of their office hours.
Sighing, Lesley tapped on the call button to call Sir Tigreal.
After three rings, he finally picked up.
"Hello, good afternoon Sir. I'm very sorry for calling you all of a sudden but I sent you a message this morning. This is Engr. Lesley from Perihelion Construction Corporation, contractor of Starlight Convenience Store." Lesley said.
There was a short pause before she heard an answer from the other line, "How may I help you, Engr. Lesley?"
Lesley was taken aback upon hearing that husky voice. She felt her breathing stopped for a second.
"Uhm..." She cleared her throat, "Is this Sir Tigreal?"
There was a short pause once again before she heard an answer, "No."
She gasped but she managed to pull away from her phone so it couldn't be heard by whoever was on the other line, "Then, may I speak to Sir Tigreal?"
"I regret to say this to you Engr. Lesley but I think you got the wrong number. I don't know any person named Tigreal."
What the— Lesley wanted to strangle herself and checked her notepad where she wrote the number that Engr. Granger given her and the number she was calling now.
She facepalmed. What an idiot you are Lesley!
She messed up the last two digits of the number. Instead of 12, she typed 21.
This is too embarrassing!
"Oh, I'm sorry for this Sir. Sorry for disturbing you. Thank you." She said and was about to end the call but the man stopped her.
"Wait." The man on the other line said, "Did you say Starlight Convenience Store?"
"Yes Sir."
"I know the owner. May I know in which building you have a problem?"
"Crescent Corporate Center." Lesley answered.
"Crescent Corporate Center..." The man trailed, "Alucard Night is the owner and the building manager. I can help you with your concern. You said that you have a problem with the glass door, yes?"
"Yes Sir." Lesley whispered, slightly taken aback because of the help from the man she dialled the wrong number, "We were thinking of asking an assistance from the building's glass contractor since they were the ones who installed it."
"Alright. Give me a few minutes and I'll update you." The man answered, "Is this your personal number or company number?"
"Personal." She answered absent-mindedly.
"Good. I'll call you after few minutes." He said.
Lesley was about to end the call but the man stopped her again.
"Wait." She heard the man said, "I'm Gusion Paxley, by the way." He said before ending the call.
That made Lesley's eyes widened as she stared at her phone.
Gusion Paxley?!
Gusion Paxley was the owner of Paxley Conglomerate— and the Perihelion Construction Corporation where she was working was a subsidiary of Paxley Conglomerate!
"What the..." Lesley blurted as she still couldn't believe she just talked to the big boss.
(A/N: Alright, don't be confused— of course Gusion wouldn't know about Lesley personally, he was a busy person and he has Human Resource Department where the applicants are filtered. Plus, he has different heads for every subsidiary.)
After a few minutes, Lesley heard her phone ringing and saw that it was Gusion's number.
Her heart skipped a beat and with shaking hands, she answered the phone. "Hello Sir Gusion?"
"Men from glass contractor of Crescent Corporate Center will go right away to the building. They will fix the door within this day." Gusion said.
That made Lesley released a sigh of relief. Thank goodness. "Thank you so much, Sir. I'm terribly sorry for disturbing you."
Gusion chuckled which made Lesley shocked. She read on articles that Gusion Paxley rarely laugh or smile.
"It's okay, I have all the time in the world." He answered.
Lesley stayed silent for she didn't know how to respond to that.
"How I wish everyone has all the time in the world..." She blurted absent-mindedly and quickly covered her mouth with the realization, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it Sir."
She heard Gusion laughed, "It's okay, no harm done."
Lesley bit her lips and facepalmed.
Just how much more you would embarrassed yourself, Lesley?
"But you need to compensate that." She heard Gusion said.
She gasped, "Sir? Are you going to fire me?"
"What? No, of course not." Gusion said, "What I am saying is..." He trailed.
Lesley was holding her breath while waiting on what Gusion would say.
"Let's meet and have some coffee?" Gusion said that made her gasped and her heartbeat to accelerate.
~~~~~
So yeah, that's the end of it. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
This is just a random thought. Hahaha. I'm sorry if this is trashy. XD
