"we're going back to top gun"

this is unreal. i'm back at the hard deck bar, after a month

i walked through the doors of the bar already seeing so many people and it's only 3 o'clock in the afternoon, i made my way to the actual bar counter to say hi to a friend

"hey penny" she turned around with a shocked face "i know right, i'm back"

"already?" she gave me a smile "but it's good to have you back sav, always good"

i watched her as she filled up a cup with beer then handed it to me

"on the house" she told me simply

"already?" i asked her and she nodded with a smirk, i looked behind me and saw the whole gang

all except one, bradley was meeting up maverick tonight so he couldn't make it

"i'll see you around?" she eyed me and i nodded, standing up from the barstool

"you will" i winked at her and she just laughed

i walked to the area where the pool table is and 'jumped' onto phoenixs back. i heard her yelp before she turned to me

"god you scared me" she laughed, throwing her hand over my shoulder giving me a hug

"it's what i do" i say, i then looked to my right and saw bob, i moved towards him and patted his shoulder "hey man"

"hey ace" he smiled at me "how've you been"

"i've been great" i leaned my back against the pool table "you?"

"doing good-"

"hey sav" i turned around and saw 3 boys that i recognized

"hey boys" i hugged hangman, payback and coyote "no fanboy?"

"nope" says payback "i have a new back seater i just don't know who yet"

"ah" i said "how y'all 3 boys doing?" i asked them and then all said 'good'

i sighed taking a sip of my drink "do y'all know what this-"

i was cut off by something behind me

"is that captain ace?" i turned around

what the fuck?

"what are you doing here?" i sighed at the sight ig him in his uniform just like the rest of us

"what?" wildcat started "not happy to see me?" i rolled my eyes at him and he walked up to us all

"who's this?" coyote asked out loud

"lieutenant kyle maine or known as wildcat" i tell them with a slight whine

"how do you too know each other?" hangman asked us

"she was my captain" wildcat wrongly stated

"i was not you captain" he looked at like i was stupid "only for like 2 weeks" i say

payback looked at wildcat funny "kyle maine?" wildcat nodded "your my new backseater"

"yeah i guess i am" he said and i looked at phoenix with a smirk while shaking my head

"hm i thought you would be older" payback exclaimed "but cool, i'm payback and these two idiots are hangman and coyote"

the boys kept talking while phoenix and i sat next to each other talking

"where rooster?" she asked me. watching me take the last sip of my beer

"with mav" phoenix looked behind me and asked me 'if i was sure' "yeah why?"

she pointed behind me and when i looked i saw bradley at the bar getting some beers from penny

"i'll be right back" i told phoenix and made my way to the bar quickly "hey babe" i put my hands on his back and he looked down at me

"hey sav" he leaned down and gave me a kiss "whatcha doin here?"

"what do you mean? what are you doing here?" i questioned him

"oh yeah, i forgot to tell you that i was gonna tonight"
i slowly nodded at his words "so the gangs all here?" ha asked

i nodded up at him with a smile "yup the gangs all here"
