My OC is close to the truth, and the mastermind is trying to k*ll them.

Your OC along with two others (y OC's crush and Your's) find my OC unconscious and bleeding heavily. The mastermind had attempted to kill them, but hadn't been able to finish them off as they heard the others approaching and ran before they were caught

When my OC eventually wakes up they explain that they  think it was the mastermind that did this to them, and the three that found them decided it was their job to protect them.
