Before she knew it, she was passed out at what looks like a resort. She didn't have her uniform on, and instead head her normal attire. A black hoodie with red checker patterns on half of it, baggy camouflage pants, black commando boots, long black gloves, and a dark red choker.

"What the... Fuck?" Mai was just going to Hope's Peak, and suddenly she's... Here? "How did I get here? Why am I even here?!" She immediately stood up from the desk she was just sleeping at a moment ago and begins to explore the area.

As she wondered the halls, Mai found a gardening room. She opened the door to see a girl with brown overalls and a long sleeve blue shirt underneath. The girl had short brown hair in a mint green beret. She had some gardening equipment in her pockets, so she's probably a gardener.

Mai slowly approached the woman. "Excuse me? Who are you?!"

The girl jumped and screamed. "AHHHHH! Wh-what?!"

Mai was startled, but decided to double down. "I said tell me who you are!"

The gardener shook a bit. "I-I'm, u-uhmm..."

Mai impatiently tapped her foot. "You're...?"

"I-I'm Moriko Shokubutsu. I'm supposed to be the Ultimate Gardener..."

" I see. So, you're also supposed to be at Hope's Peak? "

" Yeah... And you?"

Mai didn't want to introduce herself, but she didn't want to be a hypocrite, so she was brief.

"Mai Suzuki. Ultimate Survivor. Now do you know anything about this place?!"

" N-no... " Moriko looked at the flower beds. " These plant look very happy-"

"Ugh!" Mai let out a frustrated groan. She should be scared, but she's more annoyed then anything. "Then let's not lolygag with these stupid flowers and get outta here!"

With that, Mai stormed out. Moriko, not knowing anyone else, quickly followed Mai. "D-don't leave me behind! Wait up!"
