You was sat watching Ryota make his anime. He seemed stressed.

"Ryota, I think you should take a break." You said to the boy. He didn't look at you. He simply shook his head.
"(Y/N), I can't. You know that. I need to make an anime that will save the world. Give people hope," Ryota said.
"But-" You started saying, but you was immediately cut off by him.
"I don't want to hear it,"

You were in the classroom. Chisa was talking about something you didn't really care about. All you could think about was Ryota.  You couldn't ask for anybody's help- only you knew about the secret with the Ultimate Imposter.

"Ryota, I promise I'll help you," You mumbled.
You went into his room and saw somebody. Not Ryota, but a girl.

"Who are you?" The girl said.
"I'm (Y/N). Who are you and why are you in Ryota's room," You asked her.
"That's none of your buisness."
Suddenly, she attempted to grab you, but you moved out of the way.
"Where's Ryota?" You asked her.
"It's too late. He's already decided to work with my sister. She's going to use his anime to brainwash the world into despair. And you'll be the first victim." She said.

At that moment, you didn't know what to say or think. Ryota... was going to do something like that? 
"He... I'll never forgive him," You shouted.

"There's a traitor in the Future Foundation, huh? It's gotta be Ryota. He worked with Junko Enoshima,  after all," You said to yourself.
At that moment, you saw him. He was by himself, just... walking around.
"What do you think you're doing?" You asked him. He turned around and spotted you.
"(Y/N)... nothing, just... investigating. Seeing if there are any clues to expose the traitor," Ryota said to you.
"But you are the traitor," You said to him.
His eyes widened. It looked like he was extremely shocked at what you had said.
"H-Huh? (Y/N)... You... think I'm the traitor...?"
"Don't act like you don't know. I heard it from Mukuro Ikusaba that day you went missing. You worked with Junko, right?" (A/N): RIIIIIIGHT?! sorry i couldn't resist.

"N-No, that's not what happened! Junko Enoshima, she... she stole it. I swear, I wouldn't do something like that!" He said.
"Oh, yeah? Prove it," You whispered to him.

At that moment, he placed his lips on yours. Your eyes widened in shock. He then pulled away.
"(Y/N), I'm sorry. I know this all my fault. I just..." Ryota said to you.
"Ryota..."

You then kissed him on the lips..
"No, I should apologise. I'm stupid for thinking you'd ever do that. I shouldn't have doubted you," You said to him.
" T-Thank you. Let's survive this game together, okay?" Ryota said to you.
"It's a promise," You said.
Then, you realised the time limit had gone to zero. You fell asleep, along with Ryota.

Ryota woke up to smell a familiar scent... blood.
He looked over to his left, to see you. He didn't want to believe what he saw.

Guess that promise couldn't last forever.
