Ugh, I'm so tired today...
My eyes seemed to be horrendously painful after crying for such a long time. And my hands... they just couldn't stop shaking. The whole killing game has had me in fits of depression and it doesn't seem like its getting better. I just need a break, or a shining light in my time of troubling darkness...
The door of my room slowly opens, and I look behind me at whoever had entered.
At first I didn't see who it was, but then I looked at the person's eyes, their clothes, their hair...
It was Nagito Komaeda, SHSL... forget it... my head turned back around as he approached me quietly, and I jumped slightly as he placed his hand on my shoulder.
"H-hey, Y/n, you alright?" He spoke, his voice as calm as ever.
"Yeah, I-I'm fine..." I stutter, feeling Nagito's soft gaze on me. I knew that he knew that I wasn't fine.
"C'mon, you can tell me what's wrong,"
"Fine... I've not been feeling the best recently, I just need a break..."
After I finished your sentence, I felt like bursting into tears again. But I still managed to keep my cool. Nagito turned me around so I was facing him, and he smiled softly, trying to calm me.
"Hey, that's ok! We all have times like that. It'll all be fine soon however, and then you can continue doing what you love!"
His somewhat comforting words seemed to make my heart flutter, and I couldn't help but smile slightly. His smile grew as my mood started to improve.
"Well, I g-guess you're right..."
Before I knew it, Nagito was hugging me tightly, his thin arms wrapped tightly around me.
"I hate seeing someone sad, especially you. Just... try to say happy, ok?" He muttered.
I began to blush.
"I'll try my hardest, for you..."
He drew apart from the hug and took my hand.
"Thank you. Hey, if you're feeling better soon, you can join me, Hajime and Chiaki for some gaming. It'll help regain your happiness, and maybe even your hope! You up for it?"
I nod, and see his face light up with joy.
"Ok! See you later!"
As he closed the door behind him, I realised how lucky I was to have stumbled upon him.
Maybe this whole killing game situation isn't so bad after all...
