"Ready, set, go!" Kazuichi cried out. The teams then ran off in different directions, determined to win the game.

Halloween had rolled around, and Class 77 decided to do a little friendly competition. Class rep's idea of course.

They even got their teacher, Chisa Yukizome, in on it, who invited the new class, Class 78, into the competition, cause the more the merrier she said!

The contest was simple. The team to come back with the most candy wins!

Each team ran off.

Team Titan ran towards the north. It was comprised of Peko Pekoyama and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu, dressed as Mikan's Ackerman and Eren Jaeger, respectively.

Team Girl Power immediately sprinted towards the direction of the rich houses. Chisa Yukizome, Mahiru Koizumi, Hiyoko Saionji, Ibuki Mioda, and Sayaka Maizono were dressed as The Glitter Force. Ibuki was Lucky, Chisa was Summer, Sayaka was Peace, Hiyoko was Spring, and Mahiru was Breeze.

A five man team dressed as the Power Rangers darted towards their route. The yellow ranger was Kazuichi, who ignored any teasings of saying Yellow was a girl. Ryota took up the blue suit, though he was a bit embarrassed. The pink ranger was Chihiro Fujisaki, who said she didn't mind joining the group of guys. Nagito Komaeda felt like it was fate that he was the green ranger. And the red ranger? Who else to lead such an iconic anime group than Hifumi Yamada! As so, Team Anime was born.

Byakuya Togami was garbed in an almost exact replica of Death the Kid's outfit, being followed by a Toko Fukawa wearing a Phantom of the Opera getup. And that was Team Dark.

Leon Kuwata ventured off alone, rocking a Gray Fullbuster cosplay. Of course, he only picked it so he could show off his abs. As much good that would do since he's a one man team. Team Ice was a lonely one.

Teruteru Hanamura had dressed in a hot dog suit, was running away from Akane Owari, dressed as a pirate. Luckily, Nekomaru Nidai, wearing a large Pikachu suit to fit his muscular build, managed to pull the girl away. The two headed south as Teruteru ran north to avoid getting eaten. Team Food and Team Ppwer never crossed paths.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru and Mondo Owada partnered up and were Commissioner Gordon and Roronoa Zoro, respectively. Team Bros was out to win.

Team Fairy Tale was prepared for this. Aoi Asahina became Red Riding Hood, Yasuhiro Hagakure donned a wolf suit, Sonia Nevermind was Snow White, and Gundam Tanaka, after some convincing from Sonia, became her prince.

Sakura Ogami, dressed as the Colossal Titan, followed her own path as Team 50 Meter.

A large student, who didn't reveal his name, only his costume as Bowser, ran alone throughout the night as Team Koopa.

Celestia Ludenberg, being Marie Antoinette, elegantly walked through the night, being the sole member of Team Queen.

Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba chose to be James and Jesse, creating Team Rocket.

Makoto Naegi tried to be the best Diego Armando he could to match his teammate, Kyoko Kirigiri as Mia Fey, for Team Lawyer.

Mikan Tsumiki trembled as she was alone in the night, pulling off her best Sailor Moon costume. Team Moon wasn't looking so good.

And so was the last team. Team Junipollo.

Hajime Hinata, dressed in the best Apollo Justice costume he could get, walked alongside Chiaki Nanami, dressed as Juniper Woods, absorbed in playing Duel Destinies on her 3DS XL.

"What evidence do I present here? The photo? No... Maybe the autopsy? No, that's not it... Wait, what about... No..."

Hajime smiled seeing the girl so interested in the game they both got addicted to. He managed to play past her, almost as if he belonged in a courtroom, but the Ultimate Gamer was a bit slow, but always correct. She never got a penalty. Not a single one.

Hajime looked up from admiring the girl. "There's one with its lights on."

Chiaki closed her game and slid it into her pocket as they approached the door.

"Okay, just like we practiced, right Hajime?" Chiaki asked, ready to ring the doorbell.

Hajime nodded. "No worries. I got it."

Chiaki smiled and rang the bell. The two scrambled for positions.

After a moment, a woman answered the door.

Chiaki pretended to look sad. "Oh... Oh dear me... I don't think Apollo likes me..."

Hajime thrust his finger out. "OBJECTION!"

Chiaki feigned surprise. "A-Apollo!?"

Hajime took her hands in his. "Juniper... Ever since the bombing incident... I've had feelings for you... Will... Will you be my girlfriend?"

Chiaki blushed and nodded. "Y-Yes, Apollo."

The two smiled and shared a quick kiss on the lips.

Then they turned to the woman and bowed. Then picked up the pillowcases they put on the ground and held them out to the woman. "Trick or treat!"

The woman laughed. "Oh, you kids. Glad to see Ace Attorney is still popular." She gave a Starburst to each of them, and just a single one, but a whole bar (whatever it's called) to each of them.

"Happy Halloween! Court is adjourned!" The woman slammed her door.

"She was a nice woman." Chiaki said as they strode away. Hajime nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

The next house over wasn't so successful. The grumpy man slammed the door after their performance.

The two stood there, processing what happened.

"OBJECTUON!" Hajime shouted, lifting at the door, earning a giggle from Chiaki.

The two enjoyed doing this many times throughout the night, but eventually, it was time to meet up with the other teams.

On the way back, Chiaki asked Hajime a question.

"You don't think the kiss was a bit much, do you?"

Hajime shrugged. "I don't know. Actors do it all the time, don't they?"

"I think..." Chiaki said.

Hajime awkwardly scratched the back of his head, trying to get the next words out. "Say, Chiaki..."

The girl looked up at him. "Hmm?"

"You... You weren't uncomfortable kissing me so many times, were you?"

Chiaki giggled. "Of course not. It tasted a bit like vanilla, actually. I wouldnt mind kissing you every day!"

Hajime blushed at her statement.

His face turned redder when Chiaki's hand found its way to his. She no longer was playing her game, and was carrying her candy in her other hand.

Hajime smiled and laced their fingers together as they walked back.

"Seriously? That's unfair, man!" Hiro complained.

"Don't be so upset you lost." Mahiru scolded.

Nagito nodded. "Yeah. I guess I was just lucky that I managed to win for my team." Kazuichi was jumping for joy in the background.

Hiro sighed. "I just mean his luck is unfair, man..."

Hajime looked at the totals that Ms. Yukizome had looked at. Team Anime came in first. He and Chiaki, Team Junipollo came in second.

"Well, you can't win them all, I guess." Hajime said, looking at Chiaki.

The girl looked up at smiled. "I don't mind that we didn't get first place."

She stood on her tip toes and kissed Hajime's cheek.

"I think that we won in our own way."

Hajime smiled and blushed a little, but the sound of his classmates interrupted him.

"Hajime and Chiaki, sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

Even Ms. Yukizome was doing it.

Hajime blushed profusely this time.

There had to be a way to make them stop.

One idea came to mind.

He took a deep breath, pointed his finger, and yelled at the top of his lungs.

"OBJECTION!"
