Also a quick little headshot up! This is going to be a angst chapter that involves spoilers from the second chapter of SDR2! If you haven't played it or watched it, please consider doing so before reading!

There is going to be a very heart warming moment for this- so get ready!!

Alright, with that out of the way let's get to the Oneshot!

Hajime knows about Fuyuhiko's LittleSpace, him and only Peko know. Just wanted to sum that up! Alright, now we can begin the Oneshot for real!

"You're the guilty one, Peko Pekoyama, the Ultimate Swordswoman!

"Peko.. what did you just do..?"

"I never wanted a tool.. I wanted you, Peko!"

"I n-need you!! Don't leave m-me!!"

"..."

Peko's execution had just begun.. Fuyuhiko was frozen. He couldn't move no matter how much he wanted to.. his legs wouldn't move, his arms wouldn't move, the only movement was his heart racing..
He felt like he couldn't breathe.. he had to witness his own friend being.. killed.. while he was standing there helpless.

A million thoughts spiraled through his head all at once.. one by one coming at him..

"You drove her to do this"

"This is your fault."

"Coward! You couldn't even save one of your only friends on the island!"

"You bring shame to the Kuzuryu name.."

"Yaaahooo!! Extreme!!" Monokuma exclaimed, doing his signature, sinister laugh.

"You m-monster!! How could you do this to Peko?!"
Sonia exclaimed, shouting at Monokuma.

"What what? You're talking to little ol' me? She brought this on herself. She choose to kill, not my fault." Monokuma shrugged, then suddenly disappeared.

"That fiend.. he must be getting such joy out of seeing us suffer.." Gundham mumbled.

Everyone was in pure shock to what they had to see happen to Peko... She wasn't going down without a fight.. she fought for her life..
But in the end..

She died.

Everyone started to leave the trail room, clearly all of the remaining students in a horrible mood.. but they were beat, so they all had to try their best to get some rest.
But there were two people who didn't leave the room..
Hajime and Fuyuhiko.

Fuyuhiko was still standing there, not saying a word, not even moving.

Hajime was by the elevator door, debating one either if he should go leaving Fuyuhiko alone, or confront him..

' I can't just leave him here.. that would be a douche move..' Hajime thought, he soon came to a decision.

He was going to confront him.

Hajime took a deep breath, and started to walk to Fuyuhiko.. the sound of his footsteps filling the entire room.

Tap.. tap.. tap..

Hajime soon made it to where Fuyuhiko was standing.. placing a hand on his shoulder.
"..."

"Fuyuhiko? Are you alright..?" Hajime asked.. Fuyuhiko didn't answer. He just kept staring into nothing.
"F-Fuyuhiko..?"

"Why wasn't it me Hajime?" Fuyuhiko said bluntly, the sudden response caught Hajime by surprise.

"Huh? What did you say..?"

"You heard me.. why wasn't it me.." Fuyuhiko replied, looking Hajime dead in the eyes..
Hajime gulped,
"Fuyuhiko.. I-"

"I could've stopped her... I could've stopped her but I didn't.." Fuyuhiko's eyes was starting to fill with tears, he started to sniffle as well.

"If I wasn't such a coward.. she could be alive right now.." Fuyuhiko added, the tears began to fall down his pale cheeks..

He was starting to loose his balance, clearly not focused on what he was doing..
Fuyuhiko ended up falling to his knees.. looking down at them..
"G-goddamit.. why am I like this..?! I COULD HAVE SAVED HER! SHE COULD BE ALIVE!" Fuyuhiko cried out, screaming his heart out..

"I WANT HER BACK!! P-PLEASE!" He shouted, he cried as hard as he possibly could.. clenching into his chest in pain.
Hajime didn't have time to waste, he immediately dropped down along with Fuyuhiko.

"Hey hey hey..! Fuyuhiko, it's gonna be okay-"

"NWO!! IT WILL NEVER EVER BE O-OKAY!!" Fuyuhiko yelled at Hajime, teary eyed..
Hajime knew he couldn't let this continue.. if Fuyuhiko kept letting himself down then it was going to drive him crazy.. that's something neither of them wanted.
So Hajime acted quickly, and pulled Fuyuhiko into a tight, loving hug.

"Fuyuhiko.. cry it out bud.. cry it out.." Fuyuhiko kept crying into Hajime's chest, every cry would make Hajime feel more horrible for him..

He had to witness his own childhood friend get killed in the most bizarre way imaginable.. he couldn't blame him if he was upset. In fact, he had a right to be upset.. that's what Hajime believed.

So Hajime let Fuyuhiko cry his heart out for the time being.. he needed to let him express this harsh emotions..
No matter how long it took, or how long they stood in this trial room.. Hajime would stick with Fuyuhiko until his felt better..

~Timeskip~

Fuyuhiko was still crying.. but he was beginning to loose his voice. So instead of cries, they were more of soft whimpers..
Hajime continued to rub circles on Fuyuhiko's back, he wanted to make sure Fuyuhiko let out his feelings. And if he ever needed to again, he would stick with him until the very end..

"Fuyuhiko.. everything is going to be okay.. I promise.." Hajime mumbled into his ear, "I know what we saw happen to Peko was.. terrible.. but Y'know, she'll be watching over you.."

Fuyuhiko sniffled once more, and looked up at Hajime.
"S-she'll be.. w-watching over... mwe..?" It was hard for Fuyuhiko to talk.. his voice was almost gone from all the crying.
Hajime nodded,
"Mhm.. Whenever you look up at the sky, she'll be there watching over you.. almost like a guardian Angel."

"We'll both miss her.. but her spirt will be watching over us, cheering us on as we get through this together.."

"...Cwan we see her.. right n-now..?" Fuyuhiko asked, he wanted to 'talk' to Peko..

"Oh..! Alright.." Hajime picked up Fuyuhiko, and made his way to the elevator to bring them out of this terrible place they call a Trail Room.

He pressed the "Up" button.. making the elevator doors close, and they made their way up.

~Timeskip~
~At Jabberwock Beach~

Fuyuhiko was on Hajime's back, having a piggy back ride per his request.
His body was tired.. he didn't really feel like moving, and Hajime didn't have a problem with that.

Hajime paused in the sand,
"Alright, we're here." Hajime stated, signaling for Fuyuhiko to get off his back. Fuyuhiko did so, and stood up.. his legs were somewhat wobbly.

Fuyuhiko looked around, he seemed disappointed..
"Chu said she was hwere.." Fuyuhiko mumbled.

"I know I did, and she is here. You have to look up at the sky and talk to her."
Fuyuhiko looked over to Hajime,
"That sounds swilly.."

"I-I know it's does.. but trust me it helps fufu. Just try it."
Fuyuhiko, after some convincing, nodded. He took a deep breath, and looked at the darkened sky.. the shiner of light from the stars made the sky so much prettier.

"...Pweko, if you're there.. I just want you chu know.. I'm sowwy.. and I could've done more.." Fuyuhiko sniffled, wiping some of his tears away..

"And I.. I'll miss chu.. bwut Hajime says your here.. so I'll cwome and visit chu every night, okie? Just wait for mwe until then.."

Fuyuhiko looked back to Hajime,
"We can cwome back to twalk to her right?" Fuyuhiko asked, Hajime nodded.

"Of course we can.. whenever you want to we can." Hajime patted Fuyuhiko's head.. it made Fuyuhiko feel comforted.
He was happy he got to talk to Peko.. even if she wasn't alive, he wanted to talk to her..

So as the days went on, Hajime and Fuyuhiko always went to the beach to talk to Peko..
He would always tell Peko about his day, or what he did with Hajime or Kazuichi that day.. and it made him feel so much better.

He missed her a lot.. but doing this made him feel like she was actually here again..

~In the Afterlife with Peko~

Peko was sitting down.. looking over to Fuyuhiko as he spoke to her. She giggled, and talked back to him..

He would talk about his day with Hajime, and she absolutely adored it..

Mahiru suddenly walked over to Peko,
"Heyya! What'cha doing over here?" Mahiru asked, kneeling down next to Peko.

Peko smiled,
"Talking to young master and Hajime.. we have our daily conversations at this hour.."

Mahiru smiled, and got back up after just sitting down,
"Well, I'll leave you to it then. Have fun..!" Mahiru waved, and walked off to find Byakuya (Imposter)

Peko, Hajime, and Fuyuhiko kept speaking to each other over the sky.. even though they didn't hear each other, they would still continue having conversations, and they loved it..

Peko looked over Hajime for a moment, and grinned..

"Thank you Hajime.. for being there for him.."
