Today's Oneshot was requested by the amazing,

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kokichi normally would fall into a 3 year old headspace when regressed.
He would love to climb on the counter and stand on it so he could be taller then everyone, or even just do something simple like eat goldfish as him and Shuichi watched TV together.

But, today was different.
Kokichi's headspace today just so happened to be in a Babyspace head space today!

And to be bluntly honest, Shuichi didn't have any experience with Babyspace at all!
So this was all new for the blue detective..

How would Kokichi be? Shuichi didn't know the answer to that.. but he was more then willing to find out!

~Present Time~

As of right now, Kokichi was play with his stuffed blue dinosaur plushie, Shumai.
Yes. Kokichi did name a stuffed animal after a nickname he gave Shuichi, he did that because it could comfort for him if Shuichi was gone doing something one day.

He made it bounce around in his lap, he seemed so happy being in his own little world..
Shuichi decided to spectate Kokichi's actions, to see what he would do and take notes on it.

So far all that he knows is that Kokichi is way more attached to his stuffed animal, which he found quite.. adorable.

"Kokichi, do you need anything..?"

The purple gremlin shook his head, and continued to play with his stuffed animal.. not been batting an eye at Shuichi.
'Hm.. it seems like he isn't as energetic.'
Shuichi thought.
But then again, he could be wrong.

Maybe Kokichi just didn't feel like talking? Or maybe he was feeling sleepy? He didn't know the answer.
So for now.. he just decided to let things play out.

~TimeSkip~

Its been another 15 minutes, and Kokichi still hasn't asked for anything yet.. not even cuddles.
His whole new behavior made Shuichi so confused, but once again.. he decided not to question it.

Suddenly,
Kokichi turned around to Shuichi, and waddled his way over to him.
He lightly tugged on Shuichi's pants,
"O-oh! What's wrong, Kiki?

"..."
The regressed purple boy made grabby hands for Shuichi, not making a sound.

"You want ups?"
Kokichi nodded, whining and making faster grabby hands for his caregiver.

"Alright, alright.. don't worry"
Shuichi stood up from where he was sitting, and picked up Kokichi as he requested.

Kokichi gripped on to Shuichi.. making a small "Mmm.." noise, he seemed comfortable in his arms.

"...Pwacie.."
Kokichi mumbled into his shoulder, catching Shuichi's attention rather fast.

"Y-you want your pacifier?"
Shuichi asked, he could feel Kokichi nod.
This was also a new trait Shuichi discovered!

Usually when Kokichi was in LittleSpace, he wouldn't like his pacifier at all even if he had one.

"What? I dwont want my pacie!! The Evil Lweader doesn't nweed it!"

Is what Kokichi would usually say.
So Shuichi was glad he had made this discovery,
'In LittleSpace he doesn't like it, but in Babyspace he does.. how fascinating."

Thought Shuichi, he walked him and Kokichi to their shared bedroom.
Kokichi kept his pacifier in his "Little" box, it was something he hardly had to hide anymore since Shuichi had come along.
Since Shuichi knew his secret, he could be little as he pleased!

With one hand Shuichi opened the little box, and saw a lavender pacifier, along with different type of items Kokichi still kept in the box.
He moved the box aside, and sat down with Kokichi now in his lap.

Shuichi carefully placed the lavender pacifier in Kokichi's mouth, and he gladly accepted the pacifier.

Kokichi made small soft suckles, it made Shuichi smile..
Kokichi seemed so calm and at ease, he was happy to see him that way.

Soon the suckles turned into soft breaths, Shuichi didn't even realize, but Kokichi had fallen asleep on his chest.
Shuichi smiled,
'So he did end up being tired, hm?'

He didn't know why Kokichi was tired while in Babyspace today, but of course he was going to let his little one have his rest.

If he wanted sleep, then he would let him have his well deserved rest.
Shuichi picked up Kokichi bridal style for a moment, then placed him down in the bed gently, making sure he was comfortable..

He tucked Kokichi in the covers, and sat next to where he was now sleeping..

"Now, I know your asleep but.. you like when I s-sing to you when you fall asleep.."
Shuichi mumbled, only loud enough for himself to hear.

When Kokichi was in LittleSpace, he would always ask if Shuichi could sing him a song before he would sleep.. it would always soothe him!

"Pleaseee Shu-Shu? Me and Shumai 'wove when you sing!!"

Shuichi took a deep breath,

"I used to hear a simple song..~"

"That was, until you came along~"

"Now in its place is something new.."

"I hear it when I, look at you~"

Okay.. I'm gonna be honest,
This chapter made me smile quite a bit while making this 😭
Also! If you're wondering why I had Shuichi sing, I headcanon that all of the V3 cast has very good singing voices, therefore Kokichi likes when Shuichi sings!
