'Being true gentlemen.. is harder then Gonta thought..'

Gonta since day one of Hopes Peak Academy always had one goal in mind: Become a True Gentlemen.
Nobody knew why! However, they were happy for Gonta that he had set a goal for himself.

But, sometimes people woudnt really want or understand Gonta's help.
Some people were afraid of him because of how he looked.

'Aaahhh!! You could never be a gentlemen with that kind of look!'

Some were annoyed of how kind he was.

'God.. do you ever not be positive? It's getting annoying.'

It made the poor Gonta feel so confused.. he didn't know what people wanted from him..!
If he was too nice people got angry. If he was too kind people got angry. If he dressed a certain way people got angry..

At this point, Gonta felt ready to.. give up.

They took a deep breath and tried to keep their composure. A strong paint in their heart was distracting his mind.. he's never felt this hurt before.

"Keep together Gonta.. you be okay..'

Taking one more deep breath, he walked up more stairs to the 3rd floor, on the quest to retrieve to his comfy dorm!

'Heyyyy!! Wait about for meeeee!!'

A voice screamed, they seemed to be in distress? Or perhaps that was just the fact they were running up 3 flights of stairs.. (their poor lungs)
No later then 2 seconds Kaito Momota, The Ultimate Astronaut, had appeared!

Gonta gave a gasp of delight,
"K-kaito! You here too?!"

Gonta could feel himself smile as he saw his lover walking towards him.. his heart started to flutter.

"You.. huff huff better b-believe it..!"
Kaito was on his knees doing deep breaths for air.

Gonta started to get slightly frantic,
"Oh no..! Are you okay?! You hurt?"

"Nah nah.. huff I just needed to catch my breath a little bit- anyway!"
Kaito jumped up back to his feet in a flash, "You wanna hang out in my dorm today? It could be like a cool slumber party!"
The spacemen chuckled, "I know it's sudden.. but I missed you! I'd love some one on one time with you babe.."

The very words melted Gonta's heart.. he needed that kindness today.
"Sure..! Gonta would love to!"

"Sweet! I'll bring my stuff and I'll be right over."
Kaito went off in a flash to get his things, leaving Gonta by himself once again.
He smiled,
"So energetic.."

Gonta opened the door to his dorm and walked inside. He closed it but left it unlocked for Kaito, Gonta sighed.

"Sleepover.. have Gonta ever have one before?"
He asked himself. Was this a thing people did for real?
His whole childhood was just him living in the wild with his wolf family.. exploring for bugs.. making bug friends.
Now that Gonta thought about it his childhood wasn't really.. childhood.
It was survival more then anything.

The thought brought down Gonta's soul.
'Gonta miss out on a lot..'

Gonta didn't know what he should be more sad about. Not being able to be a gentlemen or not having a childhood, so far both was tearing his soul apart.
A wave of sadness overwhelming his body.

~Creaaak~

"IM BACK! I brought an astrology book I borrowed from Shuichi-"

Kaito noticed Gonta's sadden face,
"Hey.. everything alright?"

Gonta nodded frantically,
"M-mhm!! Sorry, Gonta was drifting off. Gonta okay!"
He gave a wide smile, Kaito smiled back.

"Alright, just making sure babe."
He walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek, making Gonta blush a bright pink.

"Okay so! I've brought a-lot of things for tonight! So I hope you're ready Gonta!!"

~8:25pm~

This evening was beginning to be so much fun! Gonta and Kaito ordered pizza together, played some games on Kaito's Nintendo switch, and soon after when the sun went down.. they looked at the stars! They still planned to go out tonight again to see if they could catch some fireflies.
So for now they were watching some TV.

As they rested.. Gonta felt his soul get sad again. He didn't know why his thoughts were getting the best him today, this wasn't like him at all!
He wanted happy Gonta not sad Gonta..!

They sighed, a frown following with it.

Kaito looked over to his lover,
"You okay?"

Gonta turned over, their eyes meeting each others gaze now. He hesitantly nodded, "Y-yeah.. Gonta okay."

Kaito's eyebrows furrowed, "Babe.. I can tell something is wrong. Is something on your mind..?"

"H-how did Kaito know..?"

Kaito chuckled, "I just have that good of intuition!"
He did small finger guns-

But then awkwardly chuckled, "Nah I'm just joking.. It's just that you seemed upset about something, and now that I know somethings there~"

He rearranged where he was sitting so him a Gonta were sitting face to face, "How about we sit down and talk about it? It's not good to hold things in, Y'know?"

Gonta was.. nervous. What if Kaito decided to make fun of him like some other people did? No.. Kaito wouldn't do that. ...right?
Despite his worry, he took a deep breath.. and spoke.

"Gonta been worried that he won't be able to be true gentlemen.. everyone says mean things about Gonta when he try to help.. it make Gonta worried. People scared of Gonta, before they even get to know him.."

Gonta sniffled,

"And.. one more thing.."

"Do you ever think about.. what it's like to be kid again, Kaito?"

Kaito didn't say anything, he just continued to let Gonta speak his mind without interrupting.

"Gonta think that.. he never get to experience 'childhood', ...it seems so nice when people talk about things they did when kid.. I wish I could do that too.."

Gonta's red ruby wyes started to fill with tears, but before he could let them fall he wiped them away quickly.. now wasn't the time to cry. (To him at least)
His heart felt relieved but his body was still full of so much hurt..

"Gonta..why didn't you tell me about this sooner..?"
Kaito asked, feeling a small bit hurt that all this time he could've been helping.

"S-sorry!! Gonta-"

"Wait.. no, we don't gotta do all that.. it's alright Gonta.."
Kaito cupped Gonta's cheek, "And if you want, I think I have an idea to make you less stressed and make you feel like a kid again.."

Gonta practically jumped from his seat,
"Really..?! How??"
He asked frantically.
Kaito chuckled, "Woah woah! I'm glad your excited but, you gotta promise me your up for it."

"Gonta is!! This is.. what Gonta wants."
He reassured.

"Alright.. just making sure babe."
Kaito started, "Now.. there's something I heard of awhile back called 'Age regression.'"

"..Age.. regression? What that mean?"
Gonta asked. He was curious to hear how this could help him and how he felt.

"So.. it basically means, regressing into a childlike state; such as a baby, toddler, or kid. The concept of this is to re enter your childhood memories and do things you did as a kid, Y'know? Stuffed animals, sippy cups, all that stuff.."

Gonta's eyes shimmered with hope, all of this sounded so.. so comforting! He wanted to try it, but..

"That sound real nice but.. Gonta don't know how to.. regress."

"Oh yeah-! If you want me to.. I can help with that if you want me to! But only if you want, I don't wanna force ya'."

"Kaito can help..? Please do..! Gonta really wanna at least try.. just to see how it feel."

"Okay.. hmm.."

"Here, lay down and put your head on my lap.. I have an idea I think could work."

Despite being confused, Gonta did as he was told.
He turned around and started to lay down, resting his head on Kaito's lap.
"Now.. close your eyes, and take some deep breaths.. in and out."

Gonta closed his eyes and took small deep breaths. He already was beginning to feel so relaxed.. he would be lying if he said he wasn't scared right now, but he trusted Kaito! There wasn't a need to be scared, he knew 100% he could trust him.

"Good job.. alright, now I want you to think about how you were as a kid.. the innocence, and what it was like to be taken care of.."
Kaito's whisperers were so calming and deep.. his presence made everything so calm.

But.. as he spoke, Gonta's mind started to feel more fuzzy and fuzzy.. was this normal? Was this a sign of regressing? He didn't know.. but he also didn't want to open his eyes unless he was told to do so. So for now he just kept them closed. 

"It's okay to let go, Gonta. Let go of all the stress for me, okay? It's no good to hold that all in your soul..?"
Kaito reassured, playing with Gonta's long beautiful hair.

To be honest, Kaito had no clue if this was going to work. He was only going based of something he saw online about "helping a little regress"
Was this going to work? Maybe..? But Kaito had faith that this would work! All he had to do was stay calm and put his mind to it..

Soon.. Gonta started to squirm where he was laying. Soft whines was coming from him, did this mean the plan had.. failed?!
Kaito frowned,
'So the plan failed, huh..?'

He knew that the plan did have a change of not working a 100%, but to fail? To Kaito that was miserable..

Kaito sighed,
"Alright Gonta.. you can open your eyes now.."

Gonta did as he was told and slightly opened his eyes. But he didn't dare to move his body, not even a bit.
Looking up at Kaito he spoke,
"Hnngh.. Kaitwo I dwont wanna gwet up.. cwan we sleep?"

Kaito's eyes widened, the plan ended up working after all?! Holy crap!
The astronaut gave a toothy smile, but soon realized this was the time to be serious. Gonta was feeling regressed and needed his help! He could celebrate his plan working later.

"O-oh! Of course we can kiddo.."
Kaito smiled, "We already have our pajama's on, so I guess we can just sleep here, huh?"
Gonta giggled, Kaito chuckled back.

The now regressed little one laid back down, but this time his head on Kaito's chest.. he made a humming sound of delight, already starting to get comfortable.
"Hold on there bud, I need to get a pillow~"

Kaito reached down from the floor and grabbed a pillow they used to make a pillow fort from earlier. This will come in handy!

He placed it behind him and wrapped his arms around Gonta, now starting to get comfy..

"Gwoodnight Kaitwo.. I wove chu.."

"Goodnight Kiddo.. I love you more~"
