Prolouge: Courtyard shizzles
At last, we arrived at the courtyard. There were four people there and they all turned to us. I didn't like how they were watching us but I kept silent.
A boy with brown hair and a white bandanna around his head came up to us. "Hey Rin, who's this?" He asked. "Oh this is-," she got cut off by me. "I-I'm Kuro, Ultimate Coder. N-nice to meet you!" I said. "Oh! Another Ultimate. Heh I'm Jun Nishu. I'm known as the Ultimate Boxer. Nice to meet you too," he said.
A girl with silver hair skipped up to us. "Oh hello Kuro no last name given, I'm Moriyo Hana, I'm the Ultimate Ranger," she said. Sh*t, I thought. "Ultimate Ranger?" I asked, hoping that they would forget my mistake. "It has to do something with nature. I dunno she really won't tell us," Jun explained. Moriyo giggled, "It's up to your interpretation." Rin rolled her eyes and pointed to the others. "Why don't you introduce yourself to the other two," she said. "O-oh ok," I said and walked up to them. I first walked up to a tall girl wearing a baseball cap and was holding a wooden bat.
"Hello my name is Kuro, Ultimate Coder," I said, a bit timidly. "Sora Sayuri. Ultimate Softball player," she explained. "O-oh that's a cool talent," I said. "I guess," Sora said stiffly. "Do you not like your talent?" I asked. "No it's not that. It's just that sometimes I'm being compared to another person with a similar talent like mine. He doesn't even like his own talent so why would others compare me to him!" Sora ranted while I listened politely. "Oh sorry, I'm sure you didn't want to hear a rant from me. Go on your merry way," she said. "Oh ok," I said.
I walked up to a smaller boy with freckles who was wearing a blue coat with long sleeves. What was odd about him was his hat. "Hi I'm Yuki Yuudai. I'm the Ultimate Wizard," he explained. Oh that explains the hat, I thought. "I'm Kuro, Ultimate Coder," I said. "Ooh I sense techno magic from you," he said. "Huh?" "You see there are many types of magic in this world. Others have been extinct for many eons but mordern science can bring some them back to life such with computers," Yuki explained. "As a coder, I'm sure you spend a lot of time on computers so techno magic is strong with you," he explained again. "I-I see," I said, not knowing what else to say. "Oh don't think that I'm ignorant of the world and yeah I know that physical magic isn't real but some things are so indescribable that it's pointed out as magic," Yuki said, pointing a plastic wand at me. "That's...actually a nice way of thinking," I said, impressed. "Hehe, I know," he said.
"I guess I gotta go and introduce myself the rest," I said, backing up. "Oh your companion left by the way," Yuki pointed out. "Huh?!" I turned around to see that Rin was no longer there. Wh-where did she go?! I thought panicking. "Oh don't worry, she just went to the restroom," Jun explained. But she didn't need to leave me like this, I thought, angrily. "You need help locating the rest of our classmates?" Sora asked. I shook my head. "I'm sure I'll be fine," I said. Yuki backed away from and I heard him muttered, "Man she's kind of pissed." I walked off and entered the building again.
