The elevator ride felt more face paced than last time. Too fast for my liking.

The elevator doors opened to reveal the trial room in a different look.

The walls were now silvery grey with white dots spread around the walls. The floor was a grey fluffy carpet. There were small lights hitting the walls and they honestly look like sunlight.

Monkomi sat upon his throne, awaiting us.

We took our positions at our podiums.

"I think we should start with the elephant in the room," Toshino stated.

"Yeah, there doesn't seem to a lot of clues compared to the others. At least with the last one, they were more spread out," Toshiaki said.

"I wonder why?" Kana asked.

"We should discuss how she died. Let's hope that we find a ground base to start on," Robin said.

"Well it said that she was nearly choked to death before the clean cut. Meaning that she did struggle before her death," I explained.

"Other than the file's word, is there any proof that this is the case?" Ichigo asked.

"There are scratches on her neck. If Amy was first chocked then it would make sense that the scratches would be there. If her head got sliced cleaned off, then there wouldn't be much of a mark would there?" I said.

"Hmmmm. I see now!" Ichigo cheered.

"That must have been some really strong string then," Toshiaki said.

"And it had to be very sharp as well. So it would have made those scratches on her neck before her head got cut off...," Kana said, her voice trailing off at the end before shuddering.

"S-so we know how sh-she died? Now wh-what?" Hirohito asked.

"Now we...actually...what do we do now?" Ichigo asked.

"Finding out how she died was simple enough but now...we have to find out who the culprit is," Toshino explained.

"This is going to be difficult," Kana said.

"The ones who were missing was Kana, Robin, Amy herself, Hirohito and Toshino," I explained.

"Yeah where were you guys?" Toshiaki asked.

"I w-was outside in th-the cold. I couldn't s-see the place you were at a-all" Hirohito explained.

"Didn't see you. I actually didn't see anyone," Toshino explained.

"I couldn't even see anything. Maybe the simulation glitched out on me," Robin said.

"Umm this may be suspicious of me but I saw Amy last although we didn't end our conversation on good terms. Kuro heard the end of our conversation but like an hour or two later and after wandering around to find you guys, I found him in a box asleep," Kana explained.

"That's oddly detailed," Ichigo said.

"Well I'm being honest. And considering that I'm not the most trustworthy person here, I think you deserve at least where I was," Kana explained quietly before fidgeting with her fan.

"Well...no not really," Toshiaki said.

Kana looked at the floor.

"Enough. We're supposed to be working together and not pull each other down like this. Kana made mistakes but let's not hold her down like that," Robin said.

"So how do we know that she even is the culprit?" Toshiaki asked.

"I'm not the culprit. I'm just not it. I don't want to repeat the same mistakes that I did," Kana said.

"Let's just write off the possibility that she is the culprit and move on to see who could it be," Toshino said.

"Well I suppose we can start with-," I started.

Toshiaki: How do we know for sure that Kana isn't the culprit? For all we know, she could be lying about finding you one to two hours later. Nobody saw her after she left Amy alone!

Kuro: While nobody saw her afterwards, shouldn't we apply the same knowledge with the others who were missing? Kana wasn't the only one who was alone. She does have an alibi, albeit a weak one but it's better than nothing.

Toshiaki: But dude you didn't see her until probably after Amy died. Besides the culprit would have had to pull it off outside of the simulation. We don't have a clue on who it could be! We're doomed!

"No, there is a clue! Or rather, we could hypothesized what happened," I explained.

"What do you mean? Aren't we supposed to have hard facts explaining the murder?" Toshiaki asked.

"Well sometimes we can get a good idea with a hypothesis in mind and we test it out via facts that we know. Most of the great discoveries started out as hypothesis," Robin explained.

"Yeah. We can hypothesized that the culprit was one of the first people to take their headset off," I said.

"What makes you say that?" Toshiaki asked.

"Because the culprit must have not had enough time to get back in the simulation," I replied.

"Amy died at three pm and five or less minutes have past before we got out," Toshino explained. "Which would mean that that culprit would have had to rush."

"So how would the culprit would have gotten out of the simulation? And nobody other than Kana saw Amy but even then, Kana left Amy alone for at least two hours and Amy didn't die during that time. So she was alive until around three pm," Ichigo explained.

"Yeah that admittedly is a hard question to answer. Unless we...," I turn to Monkomi.

"Sorry but ya ain't getting no peep from me. Gotta figure it out yourselves!" Monkomi said.

I muttered, "F*ck," under my breath at this this.

"So the culprit managed to find a way to log out and be brought back to the physical world in order to kill Amy. I guess Amy seemed to put up a bit of a fight," Ichigo muttered.

"Amy put up a bit of a fight? I don't think she's that type to go down without a fight," Ichigo explained.

"I actually don't believe that," I pointed out.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

Robin: We don't have enough clues for this case so I feel like we should speculate a little. As long as we got the culprit

"Yeah that would explain why," Robin muttered, placing a finger on his chin.

"Just how much blood was there?" Toshiaki asked.

"The culprit would have had to get out of the simulation. Maybe they found a secret where they could get out as they please."

"So the culprit probably found a secret that could make them escape. But what about Amy? Did she knew about this? Probably not since she didn't put up a fight. A struggle? A little bit where her neck would get scarred but a fight for her life? Not really since she died where she was sitting at," Toshiaki explained.

"We're one step closer in figuring this out!" Ichigo cheered.

"But that's not enough!" Robin exclaimed.

"W-we still have no i-idea who. All we h-have are the p-people who were left to th-their own devices a-and weren't in a group like almost h-half of us," Hirohito explained.

"True that those people would have plenty of time to look around for it. Maybe even stumble upon it," Yuki explained.

"But it could literally be anyone?!" Ichigo cried.

"Well we can narrow it down to one person. Since Hirohito said that he was outside and Robin said that he couldn't see anything and Kana didn't see Amy afterwards, it could only be one person," Toshiaki said.

He pointed to Toshino.

"It can only be him!"

"What the f*ck?! I'm not the culprit, I wouldn't risk my life to commit a murder," Toshino rolled his eyes.

"B-but you're the o-only one who fits in th-this category," Hirohito pointed out before shrinking under Toshino's glare.

"But it isn't me. You all must have made a mistake somewhere," he said.

"I...I refuse that it's him. It can't be...it just can't be!" I said, my voice shaking.

"Yeah! Niisan didn't kill Amy-chan! Like he said, we must have made a mistake somewhere," Ichigo said.

"But Hirohito is right. Toshino is the only one who fits with what we got," Yuki pointed out.
