Was it just me or did the elevator ride felt longer than usual?

I guess it might have been because we needed to do this again.

Go through hell again.

This time instead of one person dead, there is two.

Two of us have died!

Why couldn't I prevent this from happening? I feel so helpless!

"Hey Kuro, it's time to get off the elevator," Robin said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? O-oh ok," I said and walked out of the elevator.

The trial room was far more different.

It was bright pink and had a sweet smell of cotton candy. The wallpaper had also blue stripes going through. The floor felt soft and squishy. Like it was made from a mattress. In the corners were pale pink balloons floating. There was nothing on them. Just the color.

The lighting was a peachy color but it bright enough so we could see.

Monkomi sat upon his little throne, waiting for us.

"Okie dokie everyone! Go to your spots and we'll get this trial starting in no time!" He cheered.

No one shared his enthusiasm.

We went to our spots.

I was expecting new portraits and there they were.

To the right of Yuki was Uyeda's portrait with a pink cross, crossing out his face.

To the left of Sora was Jun's portrait, crossed out.

And finally to Toshino's right was Kazuno's portrait, her face also crossed out.

Three new portraits...

[Insert Monkomi explaining the rules even though by this point, everyone knows them by now]

"It's disturbing isn't it? That two people were killed," Sora said.

"Yeah but let's not focus on that. We need to figure out who killed them. That would make their souls rest in peace in the afterlife," Robin explained.

>Yeah he's right but that doesn't make me feel any better.

"Who could even have the heart to do that?" Yuki asked.

"I bet it's someone who is heartless! Like Kana or Amy perhaps," Ichigo pointed out.

This was the first time that I ever saw her at a trial without her mask.

I could really see how she expresses her emotions.

"Me?! I wouldn't do that don't go accusing me without evidence!" Amy snapped.

"Besides wasn't Jun's body found in your lab? Shouldn't we suspect you?" She asked.

"Just because the second body was found in my lab, doesn't make me the killer," Ichigo pointed out.

"I'm not accusing you or anything but something about that sentence doesn't seem right to me," Robin said.

"Oh? Oh! You're right you're right! I worded it wrong. Sorry about that," Ichigo apologized.

"Wait, I'm a little confused here. What are you guys talking about?" Toshiaki asked.

"Yeah don't leave us in the dark like that!" Amy snapped.

>Do we really have to explain it to them? Did they not read the Monkomi Files? Well granted the first one was given to me only while the second was given to everyone so some of us probably don't know.

"Hold on! Kazuno's death might have triggered the first Body Announcement but that was because three of us actually discovered it. When we compare both files of Kazuno's and Jun's death, Jun's death came earlier than Kazuno's did," I pointed out.

"So J-Jun was the first o-one to d-die?" Hirohito asked.

"Seems like it. That's why the ones who were affected by the motive came back to their regular self before Kazuno died," Robin explained.

"That brings back to my point of Ichigo being the killer," Amy said.

"But I'm not the killer though," Ichigo pointed out.

"Says who?" Amy asked.

"Says me! Yes, Jun was found in my lab but I can assure you that I was nowhere near my lab during that time!" Ichigo explained.

"We can't just go by your word alone," Amy sighed.

"Well I'm sure someone was with her at the time. Remember the buddy system?" Robin asked.

"There you have it. If Ichigo was the killer, then she would have to have slip past Yuki. That doesn't seem the case," I explained.

"Hmmph," all Amy said.

"Shouldn't we...suspect you Amy?" Kana asked, speaking up suddenly.

"Eh? What do you mean by suspecting me?" Amy asked, surprised.

"Well you did suspect me a lot l-last trial and you seem to be pointing fingers at Ichigo. It would be reasonable to suspect you due to your behavior," Kana explained.

"What? I'm pretty sure I'm not the killer," Amy said.

"But you bailed out on helping Sora and Kazuno watch over Jun. Who knows what you could have been planning?" Toshiaki pointed out.

"You're joking right? I hate you! I hate you all for this!" Amy shouted.

"There is confirmation that Toshino, Ichigo and Kana turned back to normal," he explained.

"Y-yeah, Toshiaki and I were watching o-over Kana and i-it was around t-twelve forty-seven m-maybe when she t-turned back," Hirohito explained.

"Honestly I think we might have found our culprit," Ichigo said.

"Just wait a second! I'm not the damn culprit! In fact I have many questions! Was Kazuno killed in the same room as Jun? If so was she dragged to where she was found? There's so many unsolved issues here!" Amy shouted.

"Looks like to me, we might have already found our culprit," Yuki pointed out.

"It narrows it down to a few people. People who have white clothing in reach," Toshino pointed out.

A/N: that took so effing long. Damn, I'm excited to finish this.

The next chapter would most likely be longer than this and then post trial, execution and post execution. Maybe even a lore chapter before starting Chapter 4. Just a few more chapters to go and then Into Code will be done maybe in the summer. If not, maybe when I start my sophomore year (holy crap, freshman year went by so fast 0-0)

I have two weeks to go of school and then summer break. Hopefully it will give me more time to write.
