CW: blood, head wound, vomit

Kazuno Kira, the Ultimate Peacemaker...dead on the cold bathroom floor.

Robin and Toshino were standing over her body, both having different expressions.

Sora was shaking and muttering on how it was her fault that she shouldn't have left her alone.

"No...Pinkie Pie is dead now," Ichigo sobbed.

Yuki gave her a sympathetic pat while his eyes were staring at the body.

...

Monkomi appeared.

"Hoohoo~ it doesn't seem like everyone is here. Eh whatever it's their loss," he explained.

"Can't you just be quiet for once!" Sora snapped, clearly upset.

"Youch! Fineee! I'm just here to deliver the Monkomi File," he grumbled.

He handed me the file which was odd because he usually passes them out to all of us. He then disappeared.

"We need to start investigating even if the others aren't here. We'll discuss this with them once they arrive or at the trial," Robin explained.

...

As much as I didn't want to, I had to.

So Kazuno gets the justice that she deserves and that we don't die...except her killer...but is death even acceptable for them?

I took a deep breath to relax but even my body didn't want to.

I need to start investigating, I thought, shaking.

[Investigation Start!]

I took a look at the file to see what information it may have.

>COD: blunt trauma to the head

>TOD: 12:59 almost 1pm

>Height: 5'6

>Weight: 118 lbs

The victim seemed to have appeared to have only one injury which was the fatal injury. Seems to have been hit by a large heavy object of some sorts. Died instantly.

Nothing much to go off of, I thought.

I walked up to Kazuno's body to inspect it. Maybe I could find something else to go off of.

"Hey Kuro, look at this," Robin pointed to her head where the blood was.

"That must have been where her fatal injury was," I said.

"But do you know what I find odd?" Robin asked.

"Hm?"

"The blood appears to be smudge from her forehead and hair. The blood must have rushed down to her mouth in order to have had the blood there. So I can assume that we must have gotten dragged after she got killed," Robin speculated.

"Smudged blood?" I asked and he nodded.

Now that I think about it, there is a lot of blood. More than what a usual head trauma can cause, I thought.

"Huh, so that's what she was wearing under that sweater," Toshino muttered.

"What?" I asked.

"She usually wore a pink sweater with a sky blue bow in the middle. But it's not here on here. She's just wearing a hot pink party dress," Toshino explained.

I took another look at her corpse.

He's right!

"Do you think someone took it off her or did she took it off herself?" I asked.

"I don't know. Whoever they were, they are probably a pervert," he snorted.

"Hmm, maybe they want to use her sweater for something. Maybe to hide evidence," I suggested.

"Not a bad idea but what kind of evidence?" Toshino asked.

I stayed quiet at this.

I inspected her corpse even more.

One of her hair ties came undone and now one side wasn't being held up by it. Like it got removed or it snapped.

The rest of her hair was still being held up.

Did she had very long hair? I wondered.

Why is her hand clenched up into a fist like that? I thought.

It didn't seem like it was clenched that hard.

What she had in her hand was interesting.

White fabric.

Did she rip this off the culprit before she died? Must have happened quickly because she died instantly, I thought.

"There doesn't seem to be a lot of clues. We can't tell who the culprit is due to this very vague clues," Robin muttered.

"Maybe we should look in other places other than here," Ichigo suggested.

Toshino snapped his fingers at that.

"Not bad of an idea," he said.

"Thank you Niisan!" Ichigo cheered.

"But where to start?" Robin asked.

...

"Not to change the subject or anything but I think there can be another clue to figuring out who killed Kazuno," I suggested.

"Really? Where?" Sora asked.

"I'll ask this question before we go look around to see if there are any clues," I said.

I turned to Ichigo and Toshino.

"At what time did you two turned back to normal?" I asked.

"Ooh never thought of that. Maybe we can narrow it down thanks to the time," Ichigo said.

"Hmm I think the time that I turned back was at like 12:48 or 12:49. Somewhere before 12:50," Toshino replied.

"I don't remember the exact time but it was ten minutes before you found Yuki and I pacing around the hallway. Yes we took ten minutes pacing around. We were bored," Ichigo explained.

Something doesn't seem right about this. Kazuno died at 12:59, almost 1. If Toshino and Ichigo turned back ten minutes earlier than 1, then her death most likely didn't trigger the effects of the motive for them to turn back, I thought.

"So when did Kazuno died?" Sora asked.

...

"Almost 1pm," I replied.

"That doesn't add up. If Toshino and Ichigo turned back to their regular selves around ten minutes earlier and the effects only turn back when a murder happens, then that couldn't have been Kazuno's death. It must have been someone else's!" Robin said.

"Does that mean...someone else died before her?" Toshino asked.

"Seems like it," Robin replied.

"That's impossible. How can there be two deaths?" Sora asked.

Monkomi popped up in front of us.

"I have added a new rule thanks to the request of the culprit. Go ahead and read your E-Handbook," he explained before disappearing.

I took out my E-Handbook and saw a notification for the Rules app.

Rule 9. The maximum that one person can kill is two people. If there are three bodies, that may mean that the culprit teamed up with someone to kill one more person. If the culprit themselves kill more than the maximum, I expose them and punish them painfully.

Rule 10. If the culprit does not want to die due to them pushing the maximum, they can challenge me to a rock paper scissors match and if they win, then I'll punish someone else in their place (unlikely rule)

I shut off my Handbook and looked up at them.

"So there was a new rule added," Robin muttered.

"Apparently someone can have a double kill. That would unbalance how many people would be left surviving," Toshino said.

"Now we can investigate other places to see if there is any clues that relate to Kazuno's death and potentially the other death," Ichigo said.

"Right. We'll go in groups of three. Sora, Yuki, you're with me," Robin said and left.

Ichigo glanced at Kazuno's corpse while Sora and Yuki followed Robin out.

"So what happens to her body? There will is no explanation for what happens to the corpses," she said.

"I'm not sure. We just leave them there and when we come back to the same place, they're gone," I said.

"Come on. The sight of a dead body unnerves me," Toshino muttered meekly.

We left.

"Hey Ichigo, where's your strawberry hair pin?" Toshino asked suddenly.

"Huh? What!" Ichigo's hand went to her head to feel for it.

"It's gone! Where is it!" She cried and began to pat down her clothes.

"What? You didn't realize that it's gone?" I asked.

"No. It must have dropped somewhere. If only I remember where!" She wailed.

"Now hang on. Maybe we can retrace your steps. Where do you think it is?" Toshino asked.

"Umm. My lab, my dorm, the dining room and possibly the second floor," Ichigo explained.

"Good, let's search there," Toshino said.

"But what about the case?" I asked.

He shrugged.

"Maybe Robin, Yuki and Sora would have a better time in searching for clues," Toshino said.

I let out a deep sigh.

Explain to me why am I in love with him again? I wondered.

"Maybe while we're searching for her hair pin, we'll be able to find more clues connecting to Kazuno's death," Toshino added on.

"Thank you Niisan! You are a good brother figure!" Ichigo cheered.

All he did was smile.

Wait...he can smile? I thought, my face heating up.

Oh right! That's why, I thought, burying my face into my hands.

Toshino was a mystery to me. Sure he may be rude and confusing but he has another side of him. A more sweeter side.

"Eh? What's wrong Tami~chan?" Ichigo asked.

I shook my head to clear my confusing thoughts.

"Nothing. Let's go look for it. But quickly," I said.

I went to search on the second floor where again, I was alone in my thoughts.

Nothing here, I thought and went downstairs.

I spotted Toshino searching the dining room.

"Need any help?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"No I'm just about done here. Maybe we should go to where Ichigo is. I saw her heading to her lab not too long ago," he suggested.

"Alright let's go!" I said, pumping my fist in the air with enthusiasm.

I swore he flashed a smile before quickly turning away from me.

What was that about? I wondered.

We walked to the courtyard in the direction of the labs.

"Hey Kuro. How was I under the effects of the Personality Alter? I don't remember much," Toshino asked.

"Hmm. How do I put this? Sort of like Ichigo in a sense...also very clingy. To me at least," I explained.

"Hmm...I see," he said, stopping.

I stopped in my tracks to face him.

"Nothing too embarrassing don't worry about it. This will all be behind us soon," I tried to explained.

"Yeah...soon," he muttered.

I felt like I had just made the situation worse and I felt bad.

A scream made us both jumped.

"That came from the labs!" Toshino said.

"Ichigo!" I ran towards the labs with Toshino behind me.

Ichigo was on the ground pointing to the entrance of her lab.

"H-h-h-he...b-b-body," she stuttered, her finger shaking.

I took a look inside and the sight made my stomach wrap itself in knots.

(Another bad drawing made by me. Umm it has a lot of blood on it so be warned although my inability to draw dead bodies might tone it down)

Not him!

Jun, the Ultimate Boxer was dead.

"What the- oh god!" Toshino shouted.

Ding Dong Bing Bong!

"Hoohoo~ another body has been discovered! Guess that rule really came in handy. Everyone head to the Ultimate Clown's lab to start another investigation," Monkomi's voice could be heard from somewhere.

"Kuro are you ok?" Ichigo asked, getting out of her trance.

"..."

"Hey speak to us. Are you alright?" Toshino asked.

I sank to my knees and threw up.
