(Amy's PoV)

I had a bit of a gut feeling towards Kana but I shrugged it off since she looked nice...and I didn't want to get paired up with Toshino because of what happened in the party room.

Kana and I decided to search whatever we can and ended up in the janitor's closet. Nothing interesting there, just mops and buckets. It was strangely roomy probably because of the empty space. "I wonder if this room has been used," Kana said. "What makes you say that?" I asked. Kana fanned her face before answering, "We don't appear to have been the only one's here. Someone must have been here before us," she explained. "What makes you say that?" I asked, curious. "The cleaning supplies looked used. Take a look inside this," she handed me a bottle of glass cleaner. The blue liquid inside was half. Like it has been used to clean. "So someone did use it!" I cried. "That's true but...who and when?" Kana said, now studying the bottle.

(Yeah I got nothing for these two •_•)

(Kuro's PoV. That's right, we're going back to the main PoV)

Rin and I were sharing notes with the others in what they found. Apparently we had new rooms that weren't our dorms, a theory that there's a mastermind watching us and that we weren't the only ones here. That somebody else was here before.

At last, we all gathered at the dining room again. Rin cleared her throat and spoke about the findings and asked if anyone had any theories. Jun pointed out that in order to enter the rooms, they'll need to have fingerprint identification. His theory? So framing others for murder if it did happen. This soured the mood immediately which caused Rin to have us move on. Minami said that there are other rooms around here like a computer lab and a parts and service room.

She glared at Ichigo who was busy fiddling with the forks on the table. Minami didn't say anything after reporting what she said. Toshiaki also pointed out that across the courtyard, there were other rooms similar to what Jun and Sora found. Toshino yawned loudly to get our attention. He said that the food seems to be stocked up well and highly unlikely to run out anytime soon. He appeared to be hiding something but nobody seemed to notice so I kept quiet. Must have been my imagination.

"So we know our surroundings here. Good but how does that help?" Minami asked. "Well in case something does happen, we at least know if we can narrow it down to people who seem familiar around said area. Like and I'm not accusing you of anything, the nurse's office and how much time Uyeda is in there," Rin pointed.

"Don't try to stalk me. But agreed, we can find which rooms that fit certain talents here and if something were to happen, we can at least get a lead," Uyeda explained. "S-seems reasonable," Hirohito said.

Just then, Monkomi appeared on the table, scaring some of us. "My my, you all seem to be happy to see me," he giggled. "Quite the opposite," Sora said, folding her arms. "Quit the small talk! What are you here for?" Toshino asked.

"Hoohoo anxious are we Hacker-san? Anyway I told you all that I'll give you motives tomorrow which was yesterday and that means you get the motives todaaaaay!" Monkomi explained. "Motives?" Kana asked. "Yes, it seems like y'all are comfortable with each other and acting all buddy buddy so I decided to give you all a little push," Monkomi explained. "You're still on insisting on the killing game? We told you, we're not going to die," Rin said. "Hoohoo~ that's what they always say," Monkomi smirked. "The rules on it are in your E-handbook for more information," he explained. He then stepped to the side to reveal a box.

"What's in the box?" Kazuno asked. "Your motives of course. I know that just now you'll probably wouldn't kill but with these, the possibility of a murder happening will soar through the roof!" Monkomi explained, happily. And with that, disappeared leaving the box behind. There was an awkward silence.

"So...should we look in the box?" Jun asked, hesitantly. "M-maybe we should ch-check the E-handb-book first," suggested Hirohito. E-handbook? I thought and saw that Rin took out a small pad. She cleared her throat and read off it.

"Rule 1. Curfew is at 10pm. The night announcement will play at 9pm so you have an hour to get ready to go to your dorms.

Rule 2. Clean up after yourself. Don't trash the place or litter around the courtyard.

Rule 3. Sleep in your dorms and only your dorms unless it's an emergency. Sleeping elsewhere will be considered sleeping in class and will be punished.

Rule 4. No violence towards your fellow classmates or Monkomi UNLESS it's to murder said classmates.

Rule 5. Some places will take a while to open up so be patient until they open

Rule 6. (Gosh there are a lot of rules here) There are three strikes on rule breakers. One strike you'll be fine. Two strikes punishment is chores and the last strike will be a very special punishment.

Rule 7. If a murder does occur, then an investigation will happen in the span of how much clues there are. Then a class trial will happen afterwards.

Rule 8. If the culprit is correctly guessed at the trial, then they will become the blacken and will be punished. HOWEVER! If the culprit isn't correctly guessed, then I'll punished every single one minus the actual blacken.

Rin read it all off with a sour expression. The room was quiet and she spoke up again. "I'm sure that those last rules won't happen because nobody will murder... (I hope)," she said, whispering that last part under her breath. Nobody appeared to have heard that last part except for me sadly.

"Then I guess it wouldn't hurt to look what's inside the box right?" Toshiaki asked. Some shrugged and then Toshiaki opened the box. "Huh. Looks like it's a bunch of tablets," he said and handed some to us. The tablets seemed to have our names on them. "H-here you go K-kuro," Hirohito handed me my own tablet. "Thanks," I said as I took it. He let out a sharp exhale of air before saying, "Y-you're welcome." That was odd. I turned on the tablet and at first there was nothing. Just static.

Until...

"Hey Kuro you there?"

No...

"Hey congrats on getting into the main program. We knew you could do it especially with those coding skills of yours."

It can't be!

"Hope you're doing well! Mom and Dad are also proud of you!"

Not them...

What are my siblings doing here?

"I'm telling you, Hope's Peak is an amazing place to study at. Maybe I'll see you around somewhere," my brother smiled in the video.

"I'm sure I'll be able to enter the same school as you. Making the game Jumping Usami was able to have Hope's Peak notice Nīsan and you and they will possibly notice me too," my little sister said cheerfully.

"We'll be rooting for you!"

Then the screen turned static again and the next scene was...horrifying.

There it was. The shadow of my brother, just...hanging there. My sister was nowhere to be found.

"Hoohoo~ what on earth happened to the siblings of Kuro Tamashi, the Ultimate Coder? Just kill someone to find out!"

Monkomi. So he had to do something about the disappearance of my sister and my brother's...
Suddenly I didn't want to be here and shut off the tablet. When I looked up, everyone had more or less the same expression. Horrified, sick and scared. Looks like they got a video similar to mine.

Whoever was behind all of this must be enjoying our suffering. Our fear. Our....
