Chapter 1 Daily Life part 3

(Jun's PoV)

Sora seems nice. I think out of all 16 of us, she'd be the least likely to kill someone and be less likely killed. She seems like a strong independent woman to me. "Hey Jun, wonder what are these for?" Sora asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. She was gesturing to some sort of rooms. They looked similar to our dorms with the nameplates and all but didn't seem to have that same aura that the dorms have. "I don't know. Maybe those are separate rooms for us," I suggested. "But why? We already have our dorms. If only Monkomi would explain it to us," Sora pointed out. Speaking of which...

"Hey where is Monkomi? Haven't seen him today and he said that he'll give us something. I forgot what it was," I asked. "Hmm? I think he called it a motive. I'm not sure what he means by that though. I do also wonder where he is," Sora said. She's so formal, I thought.

"Let's see if we can enter one," I said and went to open the nearest one. Eh? I was reaching for a doorknob but then got interrupted by a robotic voice. "Fingerprint identification please?" It asked. "Looks like we won't be able to enter this one," Sora said, pointing to the nameplate. It has a pixelated version of Rin.

So this one's Rin's. Interesting, I thought. "Well I say we go look for one that we can enter," I said, clasping my hands together. "Looks like yours is two doors down from hers," Sora pointed to another door. I went up to it and pressed a finger on the doorknob, unsure what to do. That same robotic voice said, "Welcome Nishu Jun. Super High School Level Boxer." It opened to a pretty sweet room. It looked like a training gym with some dumbbells packed neatly on one side, a rack of jumping ropes and a punching bag. The oddest sight was a desk with some knickknacks, a photograph and a computer. I don't think I ever owned a computer. Other than that, this room was like a small replica of my dorm mainly with the punching bag but this one looks more...how shall I put this, more professional of my talent.

"Interesting," Sora muttered. "It's a pretty sweet room right? But something bothers me," I explained.

"Oh? What is?" She asked.

"The desk and the computer. I don't have an Ultimate like Kuro or Toshino so why does this room come with it?" I wondered. Sora put a finger on her chin, thinking.

"That is strange," she said. "Hey wanna go check out your room? I'm sure it'll look pretty sweet as well and maybe I'm not the only with a computer like this," I suggested. Sora smiled at me and nodded. We walked out of my 'room' with the door automatically shutting behind us. "Is this some sort of advance technology?" I heard Sora mutter again. The two of us went to look for her room and found it. Sora opened it and we entered her room. It looked like it was designed to be like a baseball field with a rack of baseball bats and some baseballs or softballs since Sora is the Ultimate Softball Player.

"Strange. Looks like you're not the only one," Sora said and I turned to look at where she was looking at. There was another desk with knickknacks and a computer. "So let's assume that the others have computers in their rooms as well. I wonder why," I explained. "Let us go and report to the others what we found," Sora said. I slightly smiled when she said 'we.' I really do hope we get along, I thought.

(Toshiaki's PoV)

I felt like a third wheel.

Like no joke, Uyeda and Hirohito were chatting the whole investigation. It got annoying real quick. We were supposed to be investigating the courtyard but I ended up investigating the whole thing. Down to the bushes, to the outdoor patio area. Don't ask why a school would have this. At least it wasn't quiet. That's a plus.

"Man, does the courtyard have to be this big?" I asked and wandered off away from my companions.

Those two are kinda boring. The oddest thing is that I could no longer hear their voices. I turned around behind but I couldn't recognize where I was. I didn't wander this far?! I thought, freaking out. I turned to face the direction I was going and ran forward. Kind of dumb of me but you know what they say. Keep moving forward no matter how lost you are! (I'm pretty sure that's not the saying my guy)

Eventually I managed to reach a hallway. This one just had eight rooms, four on one side and four on the other. What are these rooms for? I thought. They looked similar to our dorms but in place of nameplates, there are pixelated versions of...us?! I mean there is only one person who looks like Hirohito but I guess in this case, pixelated.

I tried opening the door but it told me (yes you heard me right. It spoke) that I needed a fingerprint identification. This is like...new level dude, I thought and then silently chided myself.

There is nobody around to call dude, so why did I even say that? Unless I'm talking to myself, I thought. I kept trying with the other doors but no luck.

I guess I need to find one that is mine but sadly, this hallway contains only Hirohito's, Ichigo's, Robin's, Minami's, Toshino's, Yuki's, and Kuro's. That's basically half of us. So where are the rest and why are these all the way here, I wondered.

I felt something touched my shoulder and yelped, "NOT FU**ING TODAY SATAN!" "A-ah! I'm s-sorry." It was Hirohito. Sh**, I must have scared him, I thought guilty. "U-uyeda and I were looking for y-you. You j-just disappeared and we got w-worried. I thought someone had k-killed you," Hirohito explained. It was a little hard to understand because of his stuttering but I got the gist of it.

"Sorry about that. I just wandered off but hey at least I discovered something," I said. Hirohito tilted his head to one side. "R-really? These rooms?" He gestured to the rooms. "Yeah. Sadly I couldn't open them because it requires a fingerprint identification but at least we could report this to the others," I said and he smiled.

"Th-that's good. Now come o-on before anyone catches u-us and tries to murder us," he said and we walked away back to the courtyard. It dawned to me too late that since his room was here, I could have asked Hirohito to open his. Well he got scared and concerned for my well-being that it must have slipped my mind. Oh well, maybe next time or I'll just find mine.

(Toshino's PoV)

I already checked the front of the school and found nothing other than that brochure. Kind of hard to believe that we're in Hope's Peak Academy or at least an installation. Installation 8, huh? Wonder what that could mean, I thought as I checked the kitchen cupboards. Yes I am investigating the kitchen.

What's it to you? (Geez my guy, no need to be rude to the readers)

I looked in the fridge to see it packed with food. Mainly meat, vegetables, juice, soda and milk. Well at least no will starve to death if they aren't starving themselves on purpose but who's supplying the food, I thought. I closed it and turned to look at the utensils. Just forks, spoons, sporks (for some reason) and knives. The knives were mainly just table knives, not as dangerous as regular knives. Still could be used for murder though.

I let out a sigh. There's nothing useful here, I thought and rested my elbow on the counter. Just then there was a click and where the spices were, flipped and there held vials of poisons. Well well well look what we have here, I thought and investigated the poisons.

They weren't that dangerous and all but one had the antidotes next to them. The only one didn't was a very dangerous poison that I have only heard of once. Well it was more of a plant really but it was very dangerous. Belladonna, or in other words Deadly Nightshade. I think it has an antidote for it but I couldn't see it anywhere. I know it isn't super super dangerous but for a child, only two to three bites can kill and ten to twenty for an adult. For teenagers our age, it's probably somewhere in between. I wonder if someone is going to use this for murder? I thought, placing the nightshade back in its place.

I pressed the button where my hand previously was and it flipped back to spices. I need to hide this before anyone gets a hand on these poisons...or better yet, I softly smiled to myself. The antidotes are right here so I left them there and threw away most of the poisons, specifically the ones that can kill someone if it got dipped into something and shot at another human being. Some poisons stayed there with their antidotes and I strangely left the nightshade there. Maybe I thought someone hid the antidote somewhere and I'll need to find it. I guess I'll check the nurse's office.

This game has become very interesting, I thought.

A/N: I actually had to do a little bit of research for the deadly nightshade and Google didn't give me a lot of information. Probably I'll keep on researching it and possibly have it included in the story. Toshino knows his poisons very well, but I don't so don't take my word for it except to watch out for any plants that you don't know out in the forest. They may kill you.
