Mukuro and I arrived the the ballroom again.

The others were waiting.

"Find anything else?" Kazuichi asked.

"I'll show it to you during the trial," Mukuro waved him off.

"We still have time to investigate so I think we should use it wisely," Leafpool noted.

"Yeah, we need to find clues towards his killer," Mami nodded.

So we split up to look for clues in different directions.

I decided to look in Ed's room.

No, I'm not going to go through his personal belongings. I wanted to see if he has those notes on him.

To my disappointment, he didn't seem to have them.

Where could they be? I thought.

I walked out of his room and went to look around for some more clues.

I spotted Susie and Kazuichi standing near a corner.

"Hey, did you find anything?" I asked.

"I found the passageway that leads into the room where Lloyd died," Susie said.

"Yeah. Looks like Monokuma did open this up to the killer," Kazuichi scratched his chin.

"I see...hey what's that there?" I pointed.

"Huh? What's that?" Susie asked.

"I dunno," Kazuichi picked it off.

"Looks like it came from a dress," I noted.

"But I can hardly tell the color!" Susie piped up.

"It's possible that the killer tried to go through but their dress got stuck and that was left over. The dresses were very poofy, you know," I suggested.

"Yeah. Let's hope Monokuma let us change out of our masquerade clothes and into our regular clothes," Susie said.

"Right," Kazuichi nodded.

"I'll go and see if there's anything in there," Kazuichi went in the passage and came back rather quickly.

"I didn't see anything important," he sighed.

"Guess this is no longer important for now," Susie said.

"I'll go and see if I can find anything else," I said.

"Ok, see you at the trial," both Susie and Kazuichi waved goodbye at me.

Well where the hell can I go? I thought.

"Pssst," someone said.

I looked around and saw Leafpool motioning me with her paw to get over where she was.

"Did you find something?" I asked and she nodded.

"I found this," she pointed to two pairs of bloody paw prints.

They were too small to be Leafpool's and too cat like for Pikachu's or Monokuma's.

"What do you think?" Leafpool asked.

"There are other animals with us and somehow, were probably involved with Lloyd's murder," I explained.

Leafpool's ears folded down.

"I hope that's not the case but it's more than likely," she said.

"There should be other clues around here," Leafpool muttered.

"Guess we'll keep on searching," I said.

If Ed doesn't have his notes with him, then someone else must have. But who? I wondered.

I swore someone else had them but I can't remember.

That's going to bite me in the arse isn't it?

I sighed.

Ding Dong!

"Ahem! Investigation time is over! Everyone head to the gym to go down the elevator. Don't be late or else you'll get punished!" Monokuma could be heard from the speakers.

My palms began to sweat.

I was so not ready.

Monokuma just had to say Time's Up while we were still investigating.

He just had to!

I walked to the gym to see that everyone else was gathered there.

Why am I always the last one?

"Now that's we're all here, you can now go into the elevator!" Monokuma appeared.

"Yeah no. Not in these," Minami said, folding her arms.

"Yeah most of them are too puffy for us," Mukuro pointed out.

"Oops! My bad," Monokuma clapped his paws together and curtains fell upon all of us, shielding us from each other's view.

I felt myself spin for a bit and when I stopped, I looked down to see that I was now wearing my regular clothes.

How the f*ck was that possible?

I just twirled around like a magical girl against my own will and I don't like it!

The curtains disappeared and everyone was back in their regular clothes (or none in the case of Leafpool's).

"Ok, now that's out of the way. Go on and enter the damn elevator!" Monokuma shook his paws at us before disappearing.

We went down the trap door and into the hallway that led to the elevator.

We entered in and I hugged myself nervously.

We have to get this right!

But I have mixed feelings about this.

What if we don't? We all die. What if we do? Someone dies in our place.

A/N: sorry for the long delay. I was sick this week and I had finals to work on. Wish me luck that I pass all of my classes with at least a B.

Yeah trial as usual will take a while since I got to write things down, got to get the art and pray that I don't get distracted by other things. I also have other books to work on so yeah!
