Chapter 4 Daily Life part 2

I didn't like this.

Monokuma seems to be making a promise that he won't go easy on us with these motives.

Somehow...I find that to be true.

We have all left the gym since then and I rested my forehead on the wall.

I was debating on whether to go and explore the rest of the second floor.

So far, it was just that classroom with the USB, the computer lab and the grand ballroom.

What else can we access from there?

"Well just standing here isn't going to answer my questions," I said to myself.

I proceeded to go to the second floor.

There were three new rooms now.

I went into the first room, it was another class room.

Nothing important but I shouldn't judge it by first glance.

So I began to search through the drawers and tables.

In one of them, I found a flyer.

It was a weird one.

Feeling sad that Hope's Peak got shut down?
Never fear because Eclipse Academy is here!
Work on that special ability that you have and there may be a change for you to enter in Eclipse Academy!
15 slots are opened for the testing round so you can see how one academic year at Eclipse. Maybe even two more slots can open for recommendations!
Go to www.[*insert website*].com/enrollment.
Hope to see you there!

I folded the poster so it could fit in my pocket.

I could show this to the others. Maybe they have an idea on what the heck does this mean.

[A/N: don't actually type that website in because it doesn't exist but if the slim chance that it's real, just don't. Don't be a hero and attempt to look it up. There is a super high chance that it doesn't exist.]

I continued to search through the drawers and tables.

A-ha!

I found a piece of paper that looked like it was ripped from somewhere.

It had one name on it.

-Princess Daisy

I wonder if we can put the pieces of the paper back together. We might find a reason on why does this exists and maybe find some clues on a way out, I thought.

How many names are there left and who's missing?

I walked out of the classroom and went to the second one which was a chemistry lab.

I don't take chemistry. Too much science.

I was about to leave the room when someone called my name and they were in the lab.

"Hey Tommy, check this out!" Hibiki called out.

"What?" I asked, walking up to him.

He was with Ed, Lloyd and Minami.

"I found something. Don't know what it is but it's something," Hibiki said.

"For the f*cking last time, that's alchemy circle," Ed sighed.

"Well excuse me I'm not an alchemist," Hibiki snapped.

"Well no but you asked me what it was three times already. Four now," Ed grumbled.

"Oi d*ckheads! Now its not the time to argue. ... ... What's an alchemy circle?" I asked.

"See even he doesn't know and Tommy knows a lot of things," Hibiki noted.

"That I do," I grinned.

"Now you're feeding more onto his ego," Lloyd said.

"Heh?"

"No offense Tommy, I know that we're friends but I have to admit that you do have an ego," Minami shrugged.

"What?"

"That's what I have been saying. Tommy has an ego," Ed said.

"Why are you being so mean to me?" I sulked in the corner.

"Come on! It's just a joke...sort of," Minami said.

"Ok but seriously. Ed you haven't explained what an alchemy circle is," Lloyd turned to him.

"I told you, it's the ground point for alchemy. It's harder to explain since I would have to explain the symbols, the mind work behind it and I'm already losing you," Ed explained but Lloyd appeared to space out while Ed was explaining.

"Hm? Oh sorry. This is getting too scientific for me," Lloyd said.

"All you need to know is that you can't gain anything without giving something of equal value up. That's alchemy in its broken down form," Ed explained.

"That's sounds very philosophical. Too much for my brain," I said, leaning my head back onto the wall.

"If you were to study alchemy now, it would take you years to master it. Maybe more depending on who you are," Ed sighed.

"The hell is that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"Let's not fight. Basically none of us can understand this but Ed, correct?" Lloyd asked.

"Yep. Still I wonder why is this here? Does whoever trapped us here know alchemy?" Ed wondered.

"Probably not. Unless you're the mastermind," Minami rosed an eyebrow.

"Oh pul-ease. I wouldn't be this tacky in trying to enforce a "game" on you. Just saying if I were the mastermind, this would be a lot more different," Ed rolled his eyes.

"Careful, the mastermind can be listening," Lloyd murmured.

"WHAT!? So basically they were watching us the whole time!" Hibiki cried.

"You didn't notice? We already established that fact the day we got here," Minami said.

"Oh...right...I forgot," Hibiki said.

"So found anything else in here?" I asked.

"No. Just a bunch of dangerous chemicals and the alchemy circle," Lloyd explained.

"And that's my cue to leave. Have fun exploring the rest of the place," I said, getting up and walking out of the chemistry lab.

The last room was blank. The walls were grey and it has a little podium with blank picture frames.

Wonder what this room is for? I wondered.

"Upupupu~ my mistake my mistake!" Monokuma popped up in front of me.

"Ah!" I jumped in surprised.

"This room is not quite ready yet. It's structure is done but the inside is not quite finished yet. Got to put decorations and stuff," Monokuma explained.

"Oh buzz off, you son of a b*tch," I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up Tomathy! Open your ear holes wide open and listen up! Don't go prancing around like you own the place just because you're at this elite school that you didn't even apply to!" Monokuma snapped.

"What? What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"Whoops! I said too much. Ta~ta!" Monokuma disappeared.

"Wait! Damn it!" I shouted.

What the hell does he mean by that? I didn't apply to this school? He's probably playing tricks with me but I dunno. He seems very honest and unhappy about what he was saying, I thought.

Then a flashback to a very early conversation that I had came back to me.

(Flashback)

"Who knows. This school is supposed to be an elite school so maybe it has things that others don't," Annabeth noted.

"Well true but I don't remember enrolling into the school," I said.

"Weird. Most of us do remember but maybe whoever trapped us here went overboard in hiding your memories away. Or stealing them," she explained, muttering the last part under her breath.

"Maybe...," I said.

(Flashback: End)

Does everyone else remember enrolling here? I can't go by my own memory but what about everyone else's? I thought.

Maybe someone can tell me!

I ran out of the room to look for someone.

"Hey Hibiki!" I called out.

"Huh?" He turned around to face me.

"I have a quick question to ask," I said.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Do you have any memories of enrolling here?" I asked.

"Hmmm? Yeah I do but it's a little fuzzy. I remember my friend and I talking and how he said that he wanted to enroll at Eclipse after we were done with the Coward's Rehabilitation. I also enrolled myself in but I was the only one who got accepted," Hibiki explained.

"The Coward's Rehabilitation?" I asked.

"I think it's called that. I don't remember. ...Wait. My friends! Oh no, they are still there! Ahhhhhhhhh!" Hibiki suddenly cried out.

"I'M SORRY!!!" He ran away.

...

...

"What the f*ck did I just witness?" I asked to nobody in particular.
