I woke up to the announcement. I got out of bed and changed out of my clothes into another copy of the same clothes.

I feel like a cartoon character.

I headed down to breakfast. It was a quiet morning. Everyone was eating their breakfast silently.

I guess there is not much to talk about, I thought.

I suppose I could bring up the new rooms but it would be awkward if I broke the silence.

After breakfast, everyone left to do their own thing while I sat there thinking on what to do.

I guess I should hang out with someone, I thought, getting up.

I went to the kitchen to see who was in it.

"Then you punch the spaghetti until it's all crisp!" Papyrus explained.

"How do you make spaghetti like this?" Minami asked shocked.

"Hey guys, what's going on?" I asked.

"Papyrus is showing me how to make spaghetti but I am worried on his procedure," Minami explained.

"Well he must be good enough that he can be called an Ultimate," I said.

"Yes but-," Minami muttered but got cut off by Papyrus.

"Band-aid Human, mind helping us with the spaghetti?" He asked.

Papyrus began a new patch of spaghetti to show me how it's done.

It was...interesting to say the least.

"Ok drill haired human, go and boil some water. The spaghetti is almost ready to be boiled," Papyrus said.

"Aye aye captain," Minami said sarcastically.

"Band aid human, I need you to grab something sharp and stab at the dough," Papyrus said.

"I'm pretty good at stabbing things," I quipped.

Minami turned to look at me funny.

Guess I shouldn't joke about things like these.

Basically the whole procedure of making spaghetti was so strange but maybe that's how it's made where Papyrus is from.

At last, we were done.

I feel like Minami, Papyrus and I grew a little closer.

"So where did you learn how to cook spaghetti?" I asked as I cleaned up my space.

"From my teacher Undyne. She was the leader of the Royal Guard and I looked up to her. She said that this was going to be practice when I join the real thing," Papyrus explained.

"Royal Guard?" Minami asked.

Papyrus explained what it was.

It seemed like it was something that he really wanted to join but Undyne told him that he wasn't ready for it yet. Some day.

Until a human fell down and set them all free.

"And so, in order to make peace with the humans in the area, the Royal Guard was disbanded," Papyrus explained.

"If Monsters came back to the surface, then why haven't we heard of it?" Minami asked.

"Asgore and the leader of the humans in that area agreed to keep it a secret for a year so we would get used to living on the surface. Maybe that's why," Papyrus said.

"Interesting lesson," I said.

Minami didn't look so sure about it.

I heard a ding from my pocket and took out the E-handbook.

It was a message on that messaging app that Hibiki found.

Lloyd: hey does anyone want to hang out?

Ed: no f*ck off

Annabeth: language!

Ash: what's f*ck?

Daisy: Ed I'm warning you that this will not go well

Hibiki: too bad he only has an hour left to respond to that

Susie: HA! Lol

Kazuichi: why an hour?

Mukuro: maybe we can ask Monokuma to change it

Leafpool: is Monokuma even here in these messages

Isabelle: I don't think so

Mami: oh thank goodness

I put the E-Handbook away.

"I'm off to do something else. Bye now," I said.

"Ok," Minami said.

I left the kitchen.

I went to the game room to see Lloyd shuffling some cards.

I walked up to him.

"Oh hey Tommy, want to play some cards?" He asked.

I pulled up a beanbag chair and sat down.

Lloyd passed me some cards.

I raised an eyebrow.

"I don't think you can play Go-Fish with two people," I said.

"Who says we can't try," Lloyd pointed out.

All I did was shrugged.

So we played Go-Fish for a while.

I feel like Lloyd and I grew a little closer.

"So can I ask you a bit about your talent?" He asked as he place the cards in their box.

"Sure. What do you want to know?" I asked.

"What exactly do you do as a streamer?" Lloyd asked.

"Usually play video games for people to see. I did one irl...I mean in real life stream with my friends and I connected with my fans a bit more. It's fun but it's a bit difficult to keep up. However, you know what they say. Pog through the pain," I explained.

"Interesting. So what's it to you? Do you find streaming fun?" Lloyd asked.

"Yeah...it's also kind of a job but I'm still in college. Look I don't know how to explain it but I'm happy and I have a stable income so that's good. I don't need to spill out this much information to someone," I explained, raising my voice at the end.

Lloyd got the message.

"Sorry about that. Didn't mean to pry that much, must have gotten it from my uncle to pry a lot. Or my brothers, I don't remember. The point is, I'm glad to hear that you're happy with your talent," he said.

"Hmm...what about you? Are you happy with yours?" I asked.

Lloyd stayed quiet as he thought about it.

"Yeah, I actually am," he finally said.

That took a while, I thought.

"Hmm well I'm off. Cya around," Lloyd left.

I checked the clock. I still have some time to ki- ... some time to spend.

I decided to head to the library to see what was going on over there.

I spotted Ed sitting at a table just reading. About something or other, I couldn't tell.

I grabbed a book at random and sat down in front of him.

We sat there in awkward silence while I pretended to read.

"If you want to talk to me about something, just speak up," Ed said, sounding like he was setting his book down.

"No I don't," I said.

"If you don't want to, then at least pretend to read a book not upside down," Ed pointed out.

"Pffft I'm not reading it upside down," I rolled my eyes.

...

"Oh f*ck you!" I snapped as I set the book down.

"Well what do you want? I'm kind of busy at the moment," Ed said.

"I thought I'd spend some time hanging out with people and by coincidence you are here," I said.

"I guess I do have some time to spend," Ed muttered.

And so, we talked for a bit. Mainly about our opinions on things such as I dunno government or something.

I feel like Ed and I grew a little closer.

"So who's your favorite woman?" I asked. I just realized I never asked anyone this question.

"What?" Ed looked confused.

"You heard me. Mine is the queen," I said.

"My favorite woman? Well my mom," he replied.

"Oh that's cool. Is she nice?" I asked.

Ed sighed sadly.

"Was," he said.

I decided not to bug him about it.

Whatever happened to his mom is not my business to know.

I respect boundaries that way.

"Anyway I'll be leaving you alone now. Bye," I waved.

Honestly, if we weren't in this type of situation, bonding with everyone this way is fun.

I sighed sadly. If only...
