Chapter 2 Daily Life part 1

I woke up with a start.

Where the hell am I? I wondered as my eyes darted around to see where I was.

I was back in my dorm. How great (notice my sarcasm).

"Oh so you're awake," a voice next to me said.

I turned my head around to see Mukuro and Nishinoya sitting on the floor.

"Hey we were so worried. Daisy and Kazuichi had to work together to bring you to your dorm after you fainted," Nishinoya explained.

"Huh? Fainted? Wait what happened yesterday?" I asked.

"You're a little drowsy so it may take some time to remember but I'll bring you up to speed as fast as I can. After Sky's...punishment, we were all in shocked and then you fainted. As Noya here said, both Daisy and Kazuichi had to carry you to your dorm. We retreated to the dining room after that. Lloyd took up leadership during the meeting, saying that we'll need to find a way to get out. We're planning on having another meeting to keep on searching for an exit. We were waiting for you to wake up so you wouldn't miss it," Mukuro explained.

Punishment? I thought.

Then suddenly, flashbacks of the class trial and the execution flood into my brain. Her screams.

I felt light headed all of a sudden.

"Hey hey, are you ok? Do you still need more time to lay down?" Nishinoya asked.

I shook my head.

"No, I want to see what the meeting is about," I said and threw off my covers. I slept in my clothes again.

The three of us left my dorm and walked to the dining room, everyone else already there.

Well almost everyone, I thought as my eyes drifted to see two of us were no longer here.

One died at the hands of one of us while the other...

I prefer not to think about it.

As I thought it would be, the mood around everyone was gloomy, tired and distrust.

Lloyd immediately stood up.

"Can I have your attention please?" He asked.

"What is it?" Susie grumbled.

"Now that we're all here, I'd like to discuss possibilities on exits," Lloyd explained.

"I thought you said that there was no exit, green human," Papyrus pointed out.

"No exit so far. Monokuma has shielded us away from spots that we can't access yet. Maybe he'll open them," Lloyd suggested.

"And if he doesn't?" Minami asked.

Lloyd stayed quiet.

"Then we're stuck here but let's not dwell on that," he said.

"Not dwell on that! How can we not! We're f*cking stuck here with no way out. The wretched bear said that we're supposed to be living here for the rest of our lives until someone murders someone. We have family waiting for us!" Ed snapped.

As rude as he was about it, he had a point.

That was one of the first things that Monokuma told us. We're supposed to be here for the rest of our lives until one of us murders another.

Just like Sky did.

I felt sick to my stomach, just thinking about it.

"Umm hello?" A voice behind us said.

We turned around to see a dog like creature standing there, trembling.

"Who are you?" Mami asked.

"Umm is this Eclipse Academy by any chance?" The dog asked.

"I mean I guess," Hibiki said.

"O-oh you must be my classmates. Nice to meet you, I'm Isabelle and I'm the Ultimate Secretary. I hope that answers your question," the dog said, nodding at Mami.

"So you're another student here?" Leafpool asked.

"I suppose so. I woke up near a chained up staircase and a two toned bear walked up to me and gave me this tablet and told me to look at the rules. I-I'm not sure what the rules are supposed to be though," Isabelle explained.

"Oh! Umm how do we explain it to you," Daisy said.

"Say your prayers because we're going to die here," Susie said.

"Huh?!" Isabelle cried.

"Susie!" Daisy snapped.

"What? I'm telling the truth. No need to sugarcoat it," Susie pointed out.

"Well true but you shouldn't give out the information like it's nothing. You have to be soft with dealing with the news," Daisy said.

"Fiiiine," Susie huffed.

"Wh-what does she mean by 'we're going to die here?'" Isabelle asked.

Daisy fiddled with her fingers before explaining our situation.

Isabelle stayed quiet as she listened.

"Oh dear. We sure are in a pickle," she said.

"Sadly," Minami sighed.

Ding Dong

"Everyone head to the gym for a special announcement!" Monokuma said through the speakers.

"Oh great what does he want now?" Nishinoya groaned.

"Who knows, who knows," Annabeth said.

One by one, we all headed to the gym.

Monokuma stood there, nervously.

Can bears like him even sweat?

"So uh...I may have underestimated your abilities to solve a case. Which is why I forbid to give direct clues on who murdered you like Link did," he said.

"Oh what the f-!" I yelled but I got shushed by Daisy.

"Also I plan on giving your motive early so here you go," Monokuma jumped down from the stage and passed around pieces of paper.

"What the f*ck is this?" Ed asked.

"Your motive duh! Now read them!" Monokuma shook his fist at us.

We all glanced at each other.

Well guess it wouldn't hurt to see, I thought.

I looked at mine.

It read, Tommy started many wars (?)

What the hell? I thought.

It wasn't that extreme as I thought. Nowhere near the last motive.

However that was not the case for others.

Mukuro was trembling, her hands barely hanging on to her paper. Ed crumbled the paper. Ash had a guilty face on. Mami looked at Monokuma in horror. Annabeth looked close to crying. Leafpool's eyes widen. Minami looked shocked.

The rest of us just looked confused and maybe even humiliated.

"Umm what's this supposed to be about?" Nishinoya asked.

"Secrets. Secrets that you did or have," Monokuma explained.

"How did you-?" Mami began to ask but Monokuma just grinned but it was a fake grin.

"Don't worry about it. I. Know. Everything!" He said.

"Even the most obscure secret?" Susie asked.

"Yep! Even those," Monokuma said, reverting back to his cheery nature.

"How shocking innit," I muttered, pocketing the paper.

Something about my secret was...off putting to say the least.

What wars? What did I do? And why is there a question mark on the end of mine?

"Oh and I got another announcement! The second hallway has been opened! You may now explore the new rooms that the hallway held," Monokuma explained.

"Hallway? Oh you mean the one that was completely covered up before?" Leafpool asked.

"Yes. Now go off and do whatever you do," Monokuma disappeared.

...

"Well then...should we explore the new areas then," Kazuichi suggested.

Everyone left the gym, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

I was left wondering about my secret and my curiosity of everyone else's. I doubt I'll even see them anyway.

I suppose I should go and explore the new areas now, I thought and left the gym.
