I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Out of everyone I was trapped with I never thought it would be him.

I thought he was the one I could trust..

"surprise everyone it's me!" shuichi said cheerfully. He had a crazed smile on his face. I've never seen him like this.

"sidekick it can't be" kaito muttered in disbelief.

"oh but it can be and it is!" he giggled "oh I'm so glad the act is finally over. Its been such torture dealing with that idiotic spaceman and his wannabe edgelord assassin girlfriend. Pretending I liked them and valued their friendship. Haha what a joke!"

"do you want to die" maki growled.

"save it bitch I'm running the show here!" shuichi growled. I was taken aback. I've never seen him act so violent before.

"of course being a lovable shy detective that didn't quite believe in himself was nesasary" he explained "I had to become so trustworthy that no one would suspect me of any wrongdoing and that if I was caught the sting of Dispair would be even greater. So I must thank you for pulling off my mask kokichi. You've always been so good at that" he smiled at me.

I took a shaky breath "I was hoping I was wrong about you"

"of course you weren't wrong kichi. That's not how I programmed your character to be"

"programmed my character? What do you mean by that" I asked nervously.

"what you haven't figured it out? You're part of a TV series silly!"

"a TV series?" kiibo raised an eyebrow.

"of course. Your only part of the best TV series in the world danganrompa!" shuichi announced excited "this little show of ours is viewed all around the world and is on its 53rd season"

This was too much to take in. This sick show is being watched by millions and no one thought to try and save us!

"and team Danganrompa even chose me to be their mastermind. Ah what an honour they've bestowed apon me" he started drooling.

"how could you do this?" himiko said tearfully "how could you just sit there and watch your friends die!"

"what are you talking about?" shuichi tilted his head in confusion "none are you are my friends. We're just actors playing a role and once our role is complete we disappear" he paused for a moment "My role was to be a lovable shy detective and that role leads to me interacting with other actors. The worst person I was stuck with was definitely keade. God she was so boring! I'm glad she was killed off quickly"

"you son of a bitch!" kaito ran up to punch him only for shuichi to dodge, causing kaito to fall on his ass.

"sorry kaito but I don't have to take anymore shit from you" shuichi cracked his knuckles with a grin.

"that's enough!" I jumped in front of kaito. I can't let this basturd hurt anyone else!

Shuichi simply smiled as he pet my head "oh kokichi you were always my favourite. You were so much more interesting then these other losers. You actually understood my beautiful game and what had to be done to win it. I'm so glad you survived till the end" he turned to us all with a smile "well everyone I believe it's punishment time!"

"hold on shuichi" tsumugi spoke up "I know you've done some unforgivable things but it's not like we want you to-

"shut up! You will not take this from me!" He turned to the button with crazed eyes "let's give it everything we've got. It's punishment Time"
