Shuichis pov

I couldn't believe it. In hindsight I should have suspected him. He was always trying to make stuff up during the trails. There's no doubt that he was the mastermind. But isn't he supposed to be dead?

"surprise! Aren't you happy to see me shuma?" Kokichis grin was as wide as ever. I couldn't speak. I was too shocked.

"what's the matter detective. You look like you just saw a ghost" he burst out laughing.

"you basturd!" maki slammed her fists down angrily "how are you alive? You were supposed to have been killed by kaito. That's why he was executed!"

"oh that. I just tricked the dumb astronaut into thinking that he killed me" kokichi shrugged.

"you what!" we yelled.

"Well if I didn't come up with that fake plan then maki would have had to die for my fake murder and she's a way more compelling character than that idiot spaceman. It's a shame but in showbiz you need to make sacrifices"

I stared at him with hate in my eyes. He killed kaito for no reason!

"I'm going to kill him!" maki yelled.

"not before I do!" I yelled as we both charged.

Kokichi simply smiled as he summoned two excils "did you forget that I control everything?" he chuckled "but by all means take a step forward and I can send you to where I sent that idiot spaceman"

We glared at him as we walked back to our seats. Kokichi looked at us, satisfied with his work "I always hated you all" he stated "you probably don't remember it. It was before you got your memories wiped and became ultimates but you all made my life a living hell"

"what are you talking about?" himiko asked.

"back when we all went to school together you all bullied me" kokichi said slowly so that we all understand "shuichi sexsually harassed me thinking I was just as cute as chihiro, maki cut me just to please her boyfriend kaito. Oh and kaito was the worst. He got me placed in hospital several times! Even with his memory wiped he still hit me. Gah what an asshole!" he sighed in relief "still I'm happy. I got to make you all suffer like you made me suffer. Now I can finally die happy" he reached out for the button when-

"no!" tsumugi hugged the boy with tears in her eyes "oh kokichi I'm sorry we hurt you but it's not an excuse to hurt us like this. Let's fix our mistakes together"

Kokichi suddenly teared up and hugged her back. I sighed. It's finally ended but its not over. We have to face the worst monsters of all. Ourselves...
