Pekos pov

I was training  with my sword as usual. My young master and I are stuck on this island with strangers so it's more important then ever that I'm strong enough to protect-

"peko!" I looked up in surprise to see akane staring me right in the face "fight me!"

"huh?" I raised an eyebrow.

"you heard me!" she took a step forward "you seem like your tough as nails. I want to fight you to see whose stronger!"

I thought about it for a moment. Her request was silly of course but it could be a good excuse to improve my training.

"I accept"

*time skip*

The two of us were breathless by the end of it. Our match came to a draw. Dispite me using a bamboo sword against her she held her ground surprisingly well.

"wow that was incredible" akane gasped "you really are an incredible chick. Hope to catch you next time" she happily ran off.

I watched her go with a slight blush on my face. Maybe not everyone's an enemy here...
