Kazuichis pov

I was walking around the island as I normally do. I've been a bundle of nerves ever since the killing game started so I need to walk around alot. I'm going to go crazy if I just stay in that cottage all day!

"umm hello-"

"Ahhh!" I screamed at the sudden voice.

"Ahhh!" the voice screamed behind me. I turned around to see mikans shaking figure.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you" she whimpered.

"it's ok. I was just a little worried that you were trying to kill me or something" I scratched my head in embarrassment.

"oh my gosh did it really come off that way?" mikan yelped "I'm so sorry. I was just coming to get you for the breakfast meeting. Umm do you want me to take off my clothes?"

"what! Why would you ask me something like that!" I turned bright red from the question.

"I don't know. It just usually makes people happy when I do that and your not happy with me right now" she looked away tearfully.

"mikan you shouldn't just do that cause it makes others happy" I said feeling conserned for the girl "What about you? Dose it make you feel happy?"

"no not really but if it makes other people smile at me then I don't mind" mikan smiled sweetly.

"mikan you can't just worry about making people happy all the time" I took her by the shoulders "that kind of crap is how people take advantage of you. Trust me. I've been there" I looked away.

"I've always wanted someone to relate to" mikan smiled brightly "will you be my friend?"

"huh?"

"ah I'm sorry for assuming" mikan yelped "I mean who would want to be friends with me!"

"no its fine. I'd like to be friends" I said slowly.

Suddenly mikan hugged me "ah I'm so happy. My first friend!" she giggled excitedly.

I blushed slightly. I think this is the first time a girl has hugged me. What a strange day this has been!
