Chapter 6: Island Trial

The elevator was full of nervous whispers. Why?

One, we had no idea what was happening.

Two, someone actually murdered someone.

Three, we have no idea who murdered Stampy.

Four, we're pretty much screwed.

We filed into the trial room. A huge obsidian, gold and red throne was right across from the door we used to get in, Herobrine was sitting on it, and Alterform was floating beside the throne tied by the torso with white rope on the left side and Herobrine was holding the rope. There were sixteen podiums, each labeled with our name on the inside. At one podium there was a stand thing. With a picture of Stampy on it with Stampy's face crossed out with a neon pink 'X'.

We all went to our podiums labeled with our names. "Welcome everyone, to our first, and hopefully not last, Island Trial!" Herobrine announced. "This is how the trials are gonna go... It's like you're all in court... Use all your info to find out who the culprit is, you can use all evidence, how he was killed, what the weapons were, yadda, yadda, yadda... But keep this in mind, at the end of the trial you vote for who you think the culprit is, majority rules, get the culprit right, and they'll be punished! But if you guess the wrong person, everyone, except the culprit will be punished and the culprit can leave, understand?"

"Um, I have a question." Rage put up his hand.

"Yes?" Herobrine said.

"What is a punishment?" Rage asked.

"Punishment is... Execution! Ex-e-cu-tion! E-X-E-C-U-T-I-O-N." Herobrine explained.

"Oh god..." Bonkers muttered.

"Anyways, lets get this trial rollin'!" Herobrine laughed.

We had no idea what to do, where to start, what to discuss, what information goes first, exetra. "Wow, you guys are way worse than the last group..." Herobrine sighed.

"Um, how about we talk about how he was murdered and what the weapon was?" Okward suggested.

"Well Preston did check the body." Martijn pointed out.

"Ok, so Stampy was stabbed in the torso where we found the knife and struck in the head." Preston reported. "That's what I found when I was checking his body."

"And I found the rolling pin that he was struck in the head with." Brit added.

"We think that the rolling pin and knife came from different drawers." Weed said.

"Is that seriously all the evidence we have?" Mango asked.

"Uh, yeah... I think so." Ant replied.

I paused for a second. Wait... "No that's wrong!" I shouted.

"How am I wrong?" Ant looked over at me.

"Well... I did find some more evidence in the drawers." I said.

"Ooh!" Sketch smiled. "What is it?"

"Well there was some sauce in the drawers." I explained. "Hey Rage, what sauces were there?"

"Hmm... Well there were salad dressings, relish, mustered, ketchup, honey mustered... I think that was it..." Rage trailed off. "Sorry, I can't remember it all..." And he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Thats ok Rage, and the colour was green... So it must've been relish in that drawer." I leaned toward the circle of podiums. "Who was using relish?"

"Um, I saw Stampy, Preston and Martijn use it when I was getting some honey mustered for some chicken." Blue replied. "But Stampy's dead, so we can cross him off the list."

"And I used it and I saw Kermit and Ant using it." Mango added.

"Anyone else?" I asked.

Nothing.

Sub was tapping on his podium so we could see what he wrote. 'Ok, so then the list is Preston, Martijn, Kermit, Ant and Mango.'

"Me and Mango were right beside each other when the lights turned off." Brit announced. "We were talking to each other but when the lights turned off, we held onto each other."

"Thats true." Preston nodded. "I heard them scream, I was right beside them."

"Yeah, he was." Mango started to laugh. "I heard him shout, 'Stop screaming! It's just a power outage!" we screamed even louder just to get on his nerves."

"When the lights went off, I held Kermit back because he started to run straight ahead but he was just stuffing his face with cinnamon rolls so he would've crashed into the table." Bonkers sighed. "The idiot..."

"So it has to be Martijn or Ant." Rage pointed out.

The two looked uneasy. Some sweat formed on Martijn's face and Ant just looked pissed off. "You're accusing me!?" Ant shouted.

"No. We have two people to choose from." Sketch replied. "If we guess wrong, we all die, if we guess right, one of you die... Or get 'Punished' like Herobrine said."

Blue was beside Ant and his eyes widened. "Um, Ant... Can you lift up your arm closest to me?" Blue asked.

"Um, sure..." Ant lifted up his arm. "Why?"

Blue put his finger on Ant's wrist. "Hey Preston, can you come over here?"

Preston walked over. "Yeah?"

"You know what blood is like right?"

"Wait... Why are you asking me?"

"Is this blood?"

"Yeah..."

Ant pulled his arm away. "What are you trying to do?!" He shouted.

"Blue found blood on Ant's wrist!" Preston announced.

Martijn breathed out heavily. "You're welcome, Martijn!" Blue smiled.

"I didn't do it..." Ant growled. "I didn't do it!"

"Where's your proof?" Ghost crossed his arms.

"I... Uh..." Ant searched for an answer.

"You're guilty." Ghost glared at Ant. "You're the one who killed Stampy."

"So, are you done debating?" Herobrine asked eagerly. "Because I think you are! Alterform, can you explain the rules of voting?"

Alter glared at Herobrine and sighed. "There's a lever, a screen and a button on your podium. Pull the lever repeatedly until you see the person who you think is guilty's face appear on the screen and press the button. Majority rules."

I kept pulling the lever and I saw Ant's face then, I pressed the button. And then on the right, a screen started to rise up. It looked like a slot machine. Then the three rows started to spin until Ant's face appeared three times, then on the bottom it said, 'Congratulations!' and golden coins poured out on a slot on the bottom of the machine.

"Yes! You're right!" Herobrine smiled. "The culprit for Stampy's murder case is our Ultimate Minecraft Level PvPer!"

Ant was frozen with sweat dripping down his face. Fear was written all over him. Not anger... Just fear. "So let's give a hand to our first exiting punishment!" And Herobrine hit a red button in front of him with a hammer and a little screen below. The background of the screen was red and a thick strip of black lined the bottom and the top. A little, pixilated Ant was in the middle. On the top it said, 'GAME OVER' and on the bottom, 'Ant was voted guilty, time for his punishment.' And Herobrine came on the left side and dragged Ant off the right.

-Extreme PvP-

A door opened and Herobrine instructed us to go through. We were in a room with a huge TV. Herobrine dragged Ant over to a door and opened it up. A metal collar attached to a chain and hooked around Ant's neck. The collar dragged Ant through the door and the door slammed shut.

The TV camera zoomed to a tiny island where Ant was. A podium rose up in front of Ant with a bow and arrow and a iron sword. He picked up the sword and the podium shot down. Then some more podiums rose up with robots on them. The robots came at Ant and he slashed through lots of them. He was fighting a big one and a little one came up behind him and repeatedly stabbed him in the back until he fell and pink blood spilled out if his back. With that, the TV shut off.

-End-

"W-what did we just watch?" Bonkers stuttered.

"Woo hoo! Now that was a great start for many trials to come!" Herobrine exclaimed.

"You're a... A... You're a sick... Freak!" Preston spat 'freak'.

"Why... W-why are doing th-th-this?" Weed was on his knees, hunched over and crying.

"To make you all fall to despair..." Herobrine grinned evilly.
