Shirmpo woke up with a groan, he rubbed his eyes and went towards his bedroom door. He quietly opened it, his eyes darted towards a clock on the wall.

6:00 am, he smiled and began skipping to the kitchen, today was Friday and on Friday's Cosmo makes breakfast! Everyone loved his cooking!

He entered the kitchen, everyone already being in there everyone but a special someone. (Remember this for later)

They were all eating and chatting, today was so lively! He smiled once more and approached Cosmo, he lightly tapped him ready to ask for some of his 'world famous' bacon.

Suddenly he was grabbed and yanked around a corner. He felt someone put their hand in front of his mouth, he looked up and saw .. himself? Well no, he saw Shelly but he was Shelly!

Shrimpo(?) looked back down at his hands, instead of the usual sand color, there laid a warm orange. He looked back at himself, this couldn't be happening. This had to be a dream!

He pinched himself and almost cried once he realized it wasn't a dream.

Shelly(?) scoffed at this and picked him up, leading him to another area where they wouldn't be caught.

"Okay, let me get this straight. We somehow switched bodies?!"

Shelly screamed, she couldn't believe this. This could not be happening! They needed to tell the others quickly.

"We have to tell the others!" Shelly screamed again, Shrimpo only slapped groaned in return.

"No, we're gonna wait it out. I doubt anyone will be able to fix this anyway, we'll just have to act like nothing is wrong."

Shrimpo whisper yelled, he was already so done with this bullshit. Shelly sat on the ground and sighed.

"But can we even act like eachother? It'd be hard to depict each other's actions perfectly." Shelly could already see this going wrong in ten different ways.

"That's why we're not going to act, we're just gonna be our normal selves. Who cares if we act off, we just gotta push through." Shrimpo crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at Shelly.

Shelly sighed and nodded, Anxiety crawling throughout her body.

"Okay.."

Shrimpo(in Shelly's body ofc) walked down the cold hallways. This body sucked! He felt so fragile yet so.. strong? He didn't really know but he didn't like the feeling of it.

"Shelly!"

Vee called out to him while holding at least 3 boxes. Shrimpo groaned and faced her, crossing his arms in the process.

"Here, take these to my room. Thanks."

Vee handed the boxes to Shirmpo fully expecting him to catch them. Except he moved out of the way, making the boxes fall.

"WHA– SHELLY!?" Vee screamed at him, what was with this odd behavior!

"Girl, shut up. I don't have time for your shit."

With that Shrimpo walked off, snickering a bit. Vee just stood there in shock, what just happened?

Shelly(in Shrimpo's body DUH.) hummed as she walked, she got a few stares but that was only because she was in Shrimpo's body.

Nobody really paid her any attention, so she really didn't mind their confused stares. In all honesty she could get used to being in Shrimpo's body.

There was one problem though, every time she'd compliment someone they would look at her strange and slowly walk away.

She understood why, but it still kind of hurt. She sighed and sat down on a nearby bench, she looked off into the distance and let out a soft smile.

She began to close her eyes but instantly opened them upon hearing someone yelling, she looked to the creator of the noise and saw Goob.

"SHRIMPOOO!"

Goob had heard that Shrimpo was strangely nice today and he wanted to try his luck. He was gonna attempt to get a hug out of him!

Shelly slowly stood up, not really knowing what to do. Goob stopped in front of Shrimpo and slowly opened his arms, his face having a grin the whole time.

Shelly eventually got the hint and smiled. Someone actually wanted to hug her! She couldn't believe it!

She instantly went into his arms and hugged as tightly as she could. Goob quickly wrapped his arms around Shrimpo, this was a moment and history for him.

Goob picked up Shrimpo hesitantly and sat back down on the bench. He hugged him tighter and closed his eyes.

Goob could get used to this.

"Okay. Shrimpo and Shelly have been acting weird. Almost like they, I don't know, switched bodies?"

Rodger huffed as he announced that to the rest of the group, Goob was pouting while Vee was pissed. Rodger pointed towards them both and signaled for them to come here.

"Both of you explain your experience with them." Rodger said as he gave them room to talk.

"I'll start."

Vee said it harshly, clearly still pissed with the events that took place earlier that day.

"SHE HAD A RANDOM ATTITUDE, FOR NO REASON–" Vee immediately screamed once she got the chance, Rodger sighed and quickly moved her away leaving just Goob.

"Well, after I heard about Shrimpo being kind I just HAD to test my luck! So I did! And guess what? He actually hugged me back!"

Goob happily replied clearly happy with the things that happened. Vee on the other hand scoffed at this.

"Okay, we seriously need to figure out what's wrong with them."

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH US?" Shelly exclaimed towards Shrimpo. They were at a small diner, both of them agreed to meet up there later.

"We should've acted like eachother instead of doing our own thing!" Shelly whispered yelled this time after getting stares from other customers.

"Chill dinosaur. I'm sure it won't cause any problems in the future!" Shrimpo waves her off, but in reality he was just trying to calm her down. Yes he cares.(😨)

"Besides, we both know how to switch back now! After digging through some random books .."

Shelly only nodded at this and prepared for what they were about to do.

The waiter came back with their drinks, after all that was all they ordered not really planning on being there long.

"Thanks Val!" Shelly quickly told her, Val only smiled and response and blushed as she walked away.

They both didn't notice all of the other toons watching them.

"Are they on a date?" Finn questioned, everyone else just muttered in response. Goob frowned at this but quickly put on his signature smile again.

"So why are we stalking them again?" Cosmo whispered to Sprout, only to receive a shrug in reply.

Suddenly both of them stood up, Shelly huffed while Shrimpo started to cough. In one swift movement they kissed, making sure to bump their heads together in the process.

Everyone was shocked and watched as they both fell down, unconsciously. Goob almost ran over to Shrimpo but he refrained himself.

Everyone waited for a few minutes, considering it could be a trap to get them to expose their selves.

Shrimpo slowly got up and looked at his hands, his usual frown turned into a smile and he grabbed Shelly, who was also just waking up.

They both started jumping while softly chanting "It worked! It worked!" They both spun around and hugged each other, Goob frowned at this but quickly went back to being shocked.

The two separated and shook hands, thankfully that nightmare was over.

Everyone else just stood in shock.

What the fuck just happened?
