NAME
° bluebell.
° he chose the name himself he came across the bluebell flower in a book, he fell in love with the colour and the droopy shape of the flower and therefore chose to stick with that name

NICKNAME
° blue ( which is ironic given his usual appearance )

AGE
° uhhh he was created 5 years ago but mentally he's a lot older than that, around his 30s or something? exploring the world did a number on him. physically he looks to be in his 20s

GENDER
° he usually takes a male form but sometimes he chooses to alternate between genders so technically he's genderfluid

ABILITIES
° blue has the ability to alter his dna, he can take on the form of any person or any animal he wants. although it takes him practise to take on the form of a new animal and it requires him to study it's anatomy and practise a whole bunch, humans are a lot easier since he was created a human and he already knows the basic anatomy of other humans. he can change his gender, his height, his hair and eye colour and that's just to name a few
° blue is also able to control his organs right down to the very cell. when he was first created, the world and all its senses and everything he could do overwhelmed him but as the months and years passed, he learnt how to tune some of them out. the ability to control his organs down to the very cell also means that he's able to speed up his healing by directing and controlling the nerves and blood to flow a certain way and to connect the tissue together. it definitely doesn't lessen the pain of him getting injured and it takes him a while to heal the injury, a few seconds for a small cut to a few hours for a large wound.
° tldr; blue can shapeshift and heal himself
° oh also he has a connection to his creator. it's not really an ability ability, but he knows that he always has this premonition that something bad is happening when his maker is upset/angry etc. or in danger

SEXUALITY
° only has eyes for his creator

HEIGHT
° again, it changed based on what form he takes and what he wants to look like but his typical male form would stand around 5'5 (168cm) and his female around 5'2 (161cm)

APPEARANCE

° blue in his "typical" form is a grey haired young man with a cheerful and friendly vibe and a noticeable mole at the corner of his left eye. his female form isn't much different, shoulder length grey hair with dark brown eyes. both forms are a bit androgynous looking

° sometimes he's bored and he likes to change things up and swap out his eye colour or hair colour or just copy some random person he saw in town but he usually finds himself coming back to those forms. he's unsure of why he does this too, it could be because his grey hair and mole at the corner of his eye can tell his creator that it's him or maybe he just likes this sense of familiarity, he's still not quite sure.

WRITTEN
° blue at first meeting is a friendly guy. he's got a trustworthy aura that just draws others to him, maybe it's his childlike wonder at the small things or his curiosity at just about everything around him but people usually get a good first impression of him. maybe when he was first created years ago, that wonder was genuine. he used to be mesmerised and in awe with the world, enchanted by humans and in love with them. that all changed over his years of wandering though.
° now, he's a lot more cynical of the world. his adventure changed him and so while he appears friendly at first glance, after a while, you'll notice that he tends to put up a wall around others. he despises the humans as a whole, except his maker of course. he's seen to be manipulative in how he's able to twist his words to see the true intentions of others although most don't realise it until it's too late
° other than that, he's a deep thinker and spends a lot of time questioning his existence, it was why he left in the first place. he was aware that even vergil didn't have all his answers and now that he's home, he's still not completely satisfied with what he knows but it's alright.
° yet despite his deep distaste for humans, he's never been able to hate his maker and after all he's been through, he's even more reliant on vergil. he's incredibly possessive of the other male and clingy too, so so clingy. to his knowledge, he respects and loves vergil for being the one who made him and is deeply devoted to protecting the other no matter what but his feelings probably go much deeper than that even if he's not aware of it.

BACKGROUND
TW ; RAPE ATTEMPT

° 5 years ago, blue was created and brought to life. in the confusion and pain of being made aware and given real thoughts, the very first person he met was vergil, his creator. the first three years of his life was spent with his maker and it was probably the happiest he had ever been, blissfully unaware of the cruelty of the world and how his existence had casted his creator to the countryside. he spent those years learning about everything he could get his hands on, history, geography, maths, languages, he loved learning about the world but it wasn't enough. he still had so many questions and he knew he wouldn't get them staying here. so. he left. he cried a lot that day and nearly changed his mind but ultimately, he chose to go and those next two years changed him.
° he spent a lot of time travelling and learning about the different towns and while at first he was in awe with the different cultures he encountered, his enchantment with the world gradually lessened with passing time. he was robbed and scammed and even robbed and scammed at the same time. he was betrayed by the very people he had helped and had gotten beaten up plenty. at that time, he couldn't find it in himself to attack the humans. to him, they were the same as his creator. holy and untouchable but like i said, his opinion of them changed over time. grew tainted. he began to see the darkness of the world and how cruel humans could be. to animals, to other humans, he had seen it all and just watched.
° until finally one day, he snapped when he saw a group of men try to r*pe a young women but in the process, he ended up getting caught and nearly had been out in the same predicament. he counted himself luckier since he could shift which he easily did and fled the scene after scratching up the faces of his attackers and biting through the leg of one of them too. he lost all his belongings that day too and he spent the entire night huddled up in the form of a small grey dog, shivering in the cold. that was probably the most pathetic moment of his life.
° after that, he chose to stay in animal form for the next approximately one and a half years. sometimes shifting back to human form but it gradually grew less and less frequent and this was when he really learnt how to make use of his abilities to shift between different animals to hunt and fight for territory and of course take down and hunters that came after him. he got injured a lot and a bullet through his stomach was what really pushed him to perfect his healing abilities. those one and a half years were rough too but he prefers it more to the time he spent with humans, floating between town to town and just getting more and more disillusioned by the moral depravity and decadence of the world.
° then one day, he was attacked by another creature in the forest, he can't really remember what it was but it was then that he really felt that life just didn't have any meaning. he had searched for two years for a purpose to his life and had ultimately come to the conclusion that it was to die. so he lay there, bleeding profusely with his eyes closed fully prepared when he felt that same premonition hit him again, the uncomfortable feeling in his gut and suddenly remembered his creator. vergil was probably upset over something right now and it was at that moment that blue's eyes widened and he changed his answer. life wasn't to die, it was for other people and his other person was vergil. so, he healed himself, crawled all the way back home and shifted into his human form for the first time in years, pathetic and dirty, still without an answer and his creator welcomed him home.

OTHERS

° he's really good at drawing, his sketches always look incredibly life like and it's something he's proud of
° would do anything his creator told him to do, he'd even stop his own heart if asked
° he likes children even if he won't admit it. he thinks they're the purest form of humanity
° considers it blasphemous to see his creator in a romantic light even though he does love the male

THOUGHTS ON MY CHARACTER
° this was my first time creating a genderfluid character and i did quite a lot of research and asking friends on what it meant to feel a different gender at different times of the day . i just loved this innocence and yet cynical view towards the world he carried with him so much ugh one of my all time favourite characters

° the other person played as his creator who was once a well respected mam but was exiled from the kingdom and now lives alone in the outskirts . when blue returned to him , he finds out through circumstances the means to which his creator managed to create him .
