    Tommy felt like the world was spinning as he and Ranboo listened intently to what Tubbo was saying. "So your telling us that you found Koi in her bathroom asleep and when you woke her up she confessed to being a spy?" Tommy asked, confusion written all over his delicate face. "Yeah! And she also confesed to other things I didn't even ask for. For example she said Ponk is missing his left arm and Quackity 'kills butterflies'. I don't even know what that means." Tubbo confirmed, a soft look of confusion found its way onto Tubbo's usually happy features. "Do you know what that means Boo?" Tubbo asked directing his attention to the older male who had been silent that entire time. "I have an idea..." Ranboo said before Koi called them over for breakfeast.

    Later that day the trio met up at the base of the pond right before they had to go and recive their powers to continue disscusing the situation. "Alright, back to where we were. Ranboo what do you think 'killing butterflies' mean?" Tommy immediently started as soon as they sat down. "Well, I think it means that Quackity has been... Hurting himself? Well back in the End Empire thats how I was taught. 'Killing butterflies' is a secret way of telling people that they have been hurting themselves. We also draw a butterfly on ourself whenever we do it. A silent way to tell others about it but not draw to much attention." Ranboo said a frown riddling its way across his face. (Please read the the a/n to know more about this!) The mood instantly changed the second Ranboo confesed, as if a giant sponge had come and drained all the life out of them. "Oh, oh no." Tubbo said as small tears started to fall from his sky blue eyes, darkening them like a storm on a sunny day. "Oh, Tubbo don't cry." Tommy said as he pulled Tubbo closer, doing his best to comfort his first friend. "Hey guys! Its time to go and see what you get!" Ponk announced as he walked over to them, oblivious to the heavy conversation that had happened just moment ago. "Oh, right right. Lets go!" Tubbo said, wiping away his tears and getting up to follow Ponk. Why does he fake smile so much? Tommy asked himself as he and Ranboo followed.

    The central pavillion was buzzing. Everyone seemed to be there and it was AMAZING. Tommy, Tubbo, andd Ranboo walked right at the trio's heels as they made their way to the front, to a man and a woman waiting at the pool. "Hello Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo. I am Foolish and this is Puffy. We will help you get your talent." Foolish explained breifly before announcing that the ceremony will begin. Tommy zoned out for most of the speech because it was boring and only zoned back in when Foolish announced that it was time. "Now please walk to the Pool of Light and dip your hands in for 10 seconds and do not pull them out until ten seconds are over." Foolish instructed as the Bench Trio approched the pool. Tomy was the first to dip his hands in but immidiently regretted it. "AHH! Why does it BURN?!" Tommy yelled as his teeth gritted and his backed ached. As soon as ten seconds were over Tommy snatched his hands away and looked back at his friends, only to find them staring in amazment. "Tommy... Look!" Tubbo exclamied. Tommy immidiently looked back at the pool only to find his reflection staring bak at him, but something was off.

"Woah."

So, the term 'killing butterflies' is used as a way to repersent self-harm. Everything I made Ranboo stated is true that whenever people do this they draw a butterfly on themselves. I decided to incorperate this into the story to bring awerness that self-harm is still a thing, even now. 'Killing butterflies' more generally means self-harm, suicide, and the butterfly project. The song I put at the top does a beautiful job at repersenting this. The term 'Killing butterflies' or 'I killed a butterfly' is a coded way used by people in the butterly project to tell loved ones they need help without getting unwanted atenttion. I honestly did not know this until a comment on the video told me about it so go  to the actual video and see the comment for yourself if you would like to see it better worded.

I also put a trigger warning for fake smiles because I would like to say that fake smiling might be able to trigger someone like it occasionly does for me. I like to know that people are truly happy and aren't just tricking people into thinking their happy like I do for myself a lot. I have had a few bad expiriences with fake smiling so I just wanted to say that just in case.
