Sophie's alarm went off and Sophie sat up to remember that she had school today. She didn't want to go to school, especially because she would have to see Keefe and FItz.

Just then, Sandor walked into the room. "Miss Foster, you have school today."

"I know, and I'm not going," she said strongly.

"I know that you are having a tough time but you need to go," he advised.

"No! I am not going!" she shouted.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! What's all this shouting for?" Grady asked, coming into the room.

"I am not going to school today!" Sophie told her dad.

"But isn't today the Grand Foxfire ball?" he asked her.

"Oh, I forgot! But I'm not going to that either." Sophie stated.

"Honey," Edaline walked into the room to see what was going on.

"Mom, I am not going to school!" Sophie told her.

"I don't want to stress you but what will people think if you don't come to school?" Edaline asked.

"Just tell them I have a headache," Sophie told them.

"No, honey!" Edlaine told her.

"Mom, I am not going!"

"Ok, Let's make a deal," Grady started. "The deal is that if you don't go to school you have to go to the Grand Foxfire ball."

"Fine," Sophie sighed, going to a ball would be much worse!

Grady and Sophie shook their hands.

"Deal!"

Sophie smiled, at least she didn't have to go to school. And the ball would be crowded so she could just hide in the corner anyways! Hopefully her plan would work!

"Hey Sophie!" Biana called. Linh and Marella were standing next to her.

"Hey Biana, Linh and Marella!" Sophie greeted.

"Well-" Biana smiled, "You know why we're here right?"

Sophie groaned.

"Come on. It will be fun! We have to go shopping to get the perfect dress!" Linh exclaimed happily.

Marella just smiled.

"But-" Sophie started but Biana interrupted.

"Don't say that you're not going. Grady told me that you have to go today!"

"Fine, I'll come," Sophie grumbled.

"Yayyyyy!" Biana shouted, grabbing her arm.

They all linked hands and lept to Atlantis to get their dresses for the ball. The Grand Foxfire Ball!
