"I didn't want to tell you when we started two weeks ago, but I think you should know," Sky began as all seven boys entered the studio. Sky was surprised that Jackson had shown up after what had happened between them a few hours ago, but she was glad he came. "Park Jinyoung is coming to see you tomorrow to see how much you've improved," she told them.

"So if we show him only the best, maybe we'll debut soon?" Mark asked.

"I don't know. He just told me that he'll come every two weeks to see what you've rehearsed and to check your progress," Sky explained, "but you don't need to worry because you've done a really great job, and I'm really proud of you all. Especially you, Youngjae," Sky smiled at the brunette standing to her right, "you've made the most progress."

"Our Youngjae is simply the best," Jaebeom smiled and put his arm around Youngjae.

"I couldn't have done it without you. You guys helped me, corrected me, and had the most patience with me," Youngjae smiled at everyone, "especially you, Sky, your patience with me is incredible."

"I'm here to help you," Sky pulled away from Jaebeom and hugged him too. She caught Jackson watching her out of the corner of her eye and rolling his eyes. She ignored it.

"But just because you're doing well doesn't mean you can slack off today. He's coming tomorrow, so we'll have to work even harder today, got it?" she looked at everyone in the room, "you'll sweat blood today. If I don't see you running to the restroom to puke, you won't leave."

"Cruel Sky is back?" BamBam laughed.

"I'm not cruel, I just want the best from you so that one day I can say that I taught the best idols this country has ever seen," Sky replied, "and now line up and stretch. We start in ten minutes."

Sky decided to stretch herself as well because she would be dancing some of the steps with them to show them the finer details.

Her knees hurt terribly from the evening training, where she had fallen on them repeatedly. In the morning, she was horrified when she noticed their appearance. She even had to change her sheets because they had started bleeding while she slept. Unfortunately, she didn't have any bandages at home and didn't have time to go buy them, so now the fabric of her leggings was touching the exposed wounds, and the more she moved her legs, the more it hurt.

When she thought no one was watching her, Sky pulled up her leggings above her knees to check their condition. The blood had already dried, but the scabs and bruises were still very visible. She was sure that if she continued to move her legs so much, the bleeding would start again.

However, even though she thought no one was watching her, someone did see her. That someone was the brunette who had been ignoring her until now.

Last night, when he saw her training, something in him broke. He thought she was just some spoiled Chinese girl whose daddy paid for her to train here. But he was wrong because last night he saw that behind it all, behind why she was here, was hard work full of sweat and blood.

When he went to sleep in the evening, he had a vision of what he had seen when he opened those doors. Whenever he closed his eyes, he saw Sky sitting in the studio with glassy eyes, watching her knees covered in blood.

He didn't know why he suddenly thought of her so much when he had managed to ignore her until now.

"So we'll see each other tomorrow at one, and make sure to get a good night's sleep because tomorrow is very important," Sky smiled at them, "you want to show Park Jinyoung that you're the best, that he chose right."

"Did you hear that, guys? No video games or anything like that. Home, take a shower, and sleep," Jaebeom shouted at them. He was truly an amazing leader, as Sky had noticed on the first day they met. Everyone listened to him and valued his opinion. They never did anything without Jaebeom's say-so. If they wanted to do something, add something to the choreography, or change the training schedule, they always went to Jaebeom, who handled it all. They believed in him, and Sky liked that.

She herself was the leader of her dance group, and she knew what it was like. She always had to have authority and speak up when something didn't sit right with her. She had to arrange everything her group members wanted. It was a tough position, and not just anyone could do it. And over the two weeks she had known all seven boys, she realized that no one was better than Jaebeom.

"Jackson?" Sky turned to Jackson, who was rummaging through his bag. He didn't look at her, but the dancer knew he was listening. "Please do what I'm asking. It's the least you can do. It's also about your future." She realized that whenever she spoke to Jackson, she was speaking to him in Chinese

"Sure, Mom," Jackson rolled his eyes. Finally, he took out what he was looking for. He held two bandages. "Wrap your knees, or they'll get inflamed, and you'll end up training only sick people in the hospital," he handed her the bandages and left without another word.

Sky stood there for another five minutes, just staring at her palms, which held two bandages.

How did Jackson know that her knees were hurt? She had been careful not to let anyone catch her during warm-ups. Could it be that he didn't ignore her entirely and paid attention to her?

"You're really something, Jackson Wang, and I promise I'll figure you out one day."
