Trumpets curled away, the drum beat no more,
Only the Swan glided. The Swan danced,
All night she spun; dropped, lifted,
Arched, curved and dipped her wings;
Snow-brittle feathers skirting her,
Buckling her body on the dark waters where the moon reflected and Her dainty feet swirled.
