*Dan's POV*

Me and Stampy stayed in bed for about an hour just snuggling and talking about what we're going to do today. We finished our breakfast and Stampy got dressed in his casual blue jeans and white T-Shirt along with his orange and white hoodie that he wore almost everyday of his life. Turns out he had more than one he just chose this one most of the time and I wasn't really bothered by it so it was all good.

"Hey Stamps have you seen my goggles?" I asked as I looked around in my bedside table's drawer for my goggles that Trayaurus had to fix and upgrade sense they got broken during the battle with Target.

"aren't they in the drawer?" he asked as he was brushing the tangles out of his curly brown hair.

"No, but I'm pretty sure I put them in here last night like I do every night" I said as I looked around the drawer even looking behind it in case I had mistakenly dropped by them by accident.

"Oh! Dan I found them!" Stampy perked happily as he whirled around holding the bluish gray pair of goggles.

"Thanks Stamps!" I said happily as I took them and placed them on my head. After one last check in a nearby mirror I was ready to go.

I turned around to look at Stampy grabbing his satchel bag moving some hair out of his face. "You ready to go Dan?" He asked as he walked over to the door.

"Oh heck yeah! Onward to Adventure!!" I yelled as I grabbed my bag from the bedside table and ran over grabbing Stampy's hand then running off down the hall. I couldn't help but smile as he giggled a little. We finally got outside to the back of the house where the docs were, I grinned widely when I saw the boat we were taking. You see awhile back me and Stampy had a date night, Stampy wanted to surprise me and that night he brought me too a small boat that had been decorated with blue roses and symbols and pearly white vines that were painted onto its sides. So ever since that day when ever we would go out on the lake together we would take that special little boat.

I ran over to the boat and placed me and Stampy's bags in the hull of the boat and waited for him to untie the boat from the dock. "So where to first mate?" I asked with a rather horrible impression of a pirate.

"We my dear Dan are heading to the snowflake forest!" he cheered as he finally freed the boat from the dock. Stampy had taught me a lot about their world and told me there was a forest down the river a few miles away that was absolutely gorgeous. He had said that the trees froze over to look like giant crystals, it was actually pretty fascinating learning about this place.  

"So why exactly are we going to the Snowflake Forest?" I asked as I rowed the boat down the lake into the ongoing river.

"Well there is a special sap inside the trees and I told Trayaurus about it, so he asked me if I could go out and get some." He explained as he pulled out the map from his satchel bag "I would have gone myself and save you the trouble but the sap is rather difficult to get all alone" he blushed a little in embarrassment as he unfolded the map and looked over it.

"Its no problem sweetie, what are boyfriends for" I piped up happily as I reached over and booped him on the nose.

"Ok were far enough into the river for it to take us in its current, It's all easy gliding from now on" he said happily as he pulled a small cake decorated ukulele from his bag and tuned it a tad after strumming a c cord.

"You brought your ukulele?" I raised an eyebrow as I revealed my large smirk.

"heh......yeah I couldn't resist" he blushed and stuck his tongue out a bit, "I thought we could listen to some tunes while we were doing this" he giggled as he grazed his fingers over the instrument's strings.

"alright alright lets do that....but you have to let me braid your hair while were doing it~" I beamed as I pulled a few hairbands from my bag. I know it seems weird but the girls got me really into braids when they got me and Stamps to come to their sleepover and I honestly rather enjoyed it.

"heh, alright deal!" he giggled as he scooted over so he was sitting on the hull of the boat close to my seat. He smiled as he pulled his ukulele back into his lap and strummed about three of the strings at once. 

We sat there listening to the blissful music of his fingers drifting along the ukulele's strings, while doing so I had put his hair up into a little up-do like ponytail held in place by a thick strip of braid that Lizzie taught me to make. We laughed together anytime I would accidentally rock the boat or if Stampy accidentally strummed the wrong note. Besides from those little moments it was actually rather peaceful and the view was breath taking. It wasn't until I saw the gorgeous crystal trees towering over us when we stopped. I got out of the boat with the rope and jumped onto the snowy ground looking for a sturdy stump and or rock to keep the boat from floating away.

"My darling~" I said smoothly as I brought my hand into his reach for him to take.

"Oh why thank you dear~" he giggled as he grasped my hand with his. I then helped him out of the boat so he wouldn't fall into the freezing river.

We walked through the forest until we got into a clearing surrounded by the giant crystal trees. It wasn't until now I realized all the tree's were tinted different colors like a few of them were either a light blue, light pink or a light purple. It was quite beautiful, I looked over to see Stampy wiping some snow off his face in the most adorable way possible, I couldn't help but blush madly like a little goof.

"Dan, Dan....Dan...DAN!!" I was jolted out of my thoughts by Stampy calling me. 

"huh?! yes love? sorry I spaced out for a second there....heh" I laughed as I walked over to him while scratching the back of my neck awkwardly.

"Its ok Dan, look just make sure I don't fall alright"  he said as he stretched his neck and arms.

"wait what do you mean fall? I asked while looking at him a bit bewildered as he took off his boots and set them aside.

I was about to ask him why he was taking off his shoes but before I could he took a running start and jumped onto one of the tree's branches. "Oh my grob!" I yelped in fear of him falling, I quickly ran to the side of the tree making sure if he fell I would be able to catch him. "Why didn't we just bring a latter?" I said as I watched him climb through the tree.

"well a latter wouldn't fit in the boat Dan" Stampy said as he climbed up the tree with ease. Once he finally got to the top he wrapped his legs firmly around the tree's trunk and pulled a small hammer out of his bag along with a sap collector. It was one of those tiny metal tubes that you put into the bark of a tree to help get sap to make maple syrup. He then used the hammer to plunge the tube into the tree's bark. "yup this one's got fresh untainted sap!" he yelled to me from above. He took a big glass beaker that was obviously given to him by Trayaurus and used it to collect the sap.

As I was watching him I couldn't help but feel like I too was being watched. I turned around trying to see what could have given me this feeling. "Hey Stamps I think we should hurry up and go......I got a bad feeling" I called up to him with worry lingering in my voice.

"alright I'm coming down hold on" Stampy replied as he crawled down the tree like a large cat in the wild.

He almost got to the ground when I heard the sound of twigs breaking. I turned around again to see someone watching in the darkness of the shrubbery. Dark glowing red eyes staring back at me with hatred swirling like a fresh puddle of blood. I started to panic, I was hoping it was an angry wild animal but I knew it couldn't be by the unmistakable sound of a sword withdrawing from its scabbard.

Stampy finally got on the ground and imminently he reached for his boots but he wasn't able to do so because I had grabbed his arm and began running back to the river.

"Dan?! what are you doing?!" he yelped as I practically dragged him behind me.

"We have to get out of here.....we're not the only one's in these woods and I have a feeling their not very friendly....." I said as I ran faster with the feeling in my gut getting stronger.

We were almost to the river when a figure dropped down in front of us holding a long freshly sharpened sword that was lined with small red jewels and what I was guessing was smelted obsidian. The figure was wearing a cloak covering its head, but they had a metal helm like mask over its mouth. The figure had large metal gauntlets and boots that clenched around its body. Me and the figure locked eyes......I couldn't help but feel as if I had seen them before yet I haven't at all. The figure raised its sword as if pointing at me with its own appendage, quick as an ocelot the figure ran me holding its sword firmly in front of itself clearly wanting to send quite a lot of damage.

"We have to go like right now!" I scooped Stampy into my arms and booked it as fast as I could through the forest. We finally got to the icy river and lightly pushed Stampy into the boat and turned around only to come face to mask with the mysterious figure.

"whoa buddy lets not do something we might regret ok....." I backed up a bit not wanting to fight in these circumstances.

 The figure raised its sword once again ready to strike me down until something collided with it's head causing the figure to fall down harshly into the snow. I turned around to see Stampy had threw a rather large rock at my attacker. "Come on Dan we have to go now!" Stampy called as he pulled the rope of the boat off the rock I had tied it to, I quickly then jumped into the back of the boat and begin to row the ores as fast as I could until the fast current was able to drift us back home.

"You ok Dan?" Stampy asked while holding my cheeks and checking me over for any injury. When he was finished with that he looked back at the Snowflake Forest which was growing farther and farther away. "Who in all of chocolate covered tea cakes was that?!" he spoke in a panicked and overwhelmed kind of voice.

"I have no idea......but whoever they are, they gotta be bad news for everyone..." I said as I looked back at the forest as well.

"aug......the others aren't going to like this........"
