DAN POV

When I wake up I saw clothes already on the bed and go shower and then I got dressed and when I walked out of the room I saw Grace waiting for me.

"Good morning" Grace says.

"Morning"

"Follow me to the breakfast area" Grace says.

I then follow her and when we get there I sit down and eat breakfast and it was so good.

"Morning son" I look and I see Daniel's parents and it was his dad that talked.

I swallow my food "good morning"

"Did you sleep well?" his mom asks.

"Yes I did"

"That's good" his mom says.

"Remember don't forget about the meeting at noon boy" his dad says.

"Yes father"

After breakfast I left and Grace followed me.

"Well you met his parents" Grace says.

"Yes I did, his mother is so nice, but his father is cold"

"Yes and no one knows why" Grace says.

"I wonder what he's doing right now?" I asks. Just then I get tackled and I see that it was 2 big dog "who are they?"

"Oh I guess the prince didn't say he had pets" Grace says "alright boys off"

They then get off me and I stand up and they smell me.

"You know I don't think I told him about mine"

"Will your pet hurt the prince?" Grace asks.

"No of course not, he's very friendly" they then growl at me and so I get on one knee "you 2 got names?"

They stare at me.

"You are not our owner" the black one says "and my name is Night"

"Yes I know I'm not the prince"

"Wait you understood him" the black and white dog says.

"Yes I did, I can talk to animals and what's your name?"

"My name is Oreo and that's cool that you can understand us" Oreo says.

"So where is our owner?" Night asks.

"We switch places and your owner will come back in a few days"

"Dan can you really understand animals?" Grace asks.

"Yes I can actually all thanks to my bracelet that I have"

"Fascinating" Grace says.

After a while the dogs followed me everywhere asking questions.

Before I knew it. It was time for that meeting and I sat next to the king and the meeting began.

As they talked they were arguing over water that was at a river and how one person has all the water and the other person has to go far to get to the water.

Their arguing was giving me a headache and so I stood and slam my hands on the table and they all look at me.

"That's enough"

"Son" his father says.

"Shut it old man" they all go ooooh "look if your having trouble with water then change the flow of the river and that way everybody gets water and then reattach the water to the main river and there you go"

I then sit back down.

"That's very clever your highness" he says.

"I can work with that" the other guy says.

"I'm glad and make it fair so that everybody has it"

"Yes your highness" they all said.

After a while it was over and I left.

"Son" I stop and look at him.

"Yes"

"How dare you talk to me like that in there" his father says.

"Well, you weren't doing anything at all and the solution was right in front of your face" we look at each other "maybe your just getting to old for this job"

"Why you" he was about to hit me, but grab his wrist.

"If you try to hit me I'll tell the news and everybody will see you as a terrible king that you are"

He groans in anger "I don't where you got this brave attitude" I then see him smile at me "I like it" I gasps "keep it up" he walks away "and good work with the meeting"

"I'm shocked" Oreo says.

"He actually left you a complement and it was a good one" Night says.

"You need to be careful" Grace says "you may be brave and confident, but the prince doesn't have that kind of guts"

"I understand"

I then went back the room and the dogs follow me.
