The Tiny Flower

Sometimes I think these one shots don't even relate to Dan and Phil anymore and I just use their names.

Phil had a tendency to wander off from what he should be focusing on. He daydreamed more than the usual boy did and he rarely ever listen to anyone talk. His family were on a picnic and they were enjoying their simple jam sandwiches and mixes of different crisps, when Phil's mind began to wander off. He was suddenly imagining himself in another world where the grass grew into forests, the noises resembled those from a jungle and his family were nowhere to be seen. His brother had been replaced with a monkey, making the little boy giggle. His mother was a long snake, hissing and making Phil grin widely and his dad was a big gorilla, towering over Phil's mother and brother.

The snake's hissing began to oddly sound like the name 'Phil' and it got clearer and clearer until it was a shout. His mum's recognisable shout. "Philip!"

Phil jumped back into reality and, with the blink of an eye, the forest shrunk into tiny blades of grass and everything was back to normal. "Are you alright?"

Phil blinked a couple of times, his eyes adjusting to the regular environment. His family were staring at him, their human eyes glaring into him with concern. "Perfect!" Phil responded, his voice shaking slightly.

With a slight laugh, his brother joined in the conversation, "Were you daydreaming again?"

Phil couldn't help but blush slightly, embarrassment washing over him as he was the centre of attention. "Definitely not-"

"Oh yeah? It's like the jam sandwiches have put you on drugs!"

"Shut up! I just like to-"

"Daydream, we know." Martyn was in fits of laughter, finding entertainment in the boy's embarrassment.

"Yeah.." The attention diverted off of Phil and, just like that, he was back in his dream world.

This time, the whole area looked pretty much the same but there were tiny little flowers embedded in the green grass. Phil reached out and brushed his finger against one of the miniscule petals. The flowers were very pretty so he couldn't help but look at them... until another hand blocked his view. He looked up, meeting another young boy's hazel eyes. "I'm Dan." The boy said and Phil suddenly wanted to grip onto the daydream as tightly as he could because the boy looked really sweet and they could totally be best friends!

"Phil."

"I see you were admiring the flowers. They're so pretty aren't they?"

Phil stifled a nod, his cheeks tinting red.

"Are you here alone?" Dan asked, his voice making Phil feel giddy. Phil turned, immediately seeing that no one was there. His family were gone.

"I was here with my parents but-"

"That's cool. My parents aren't around." Dan kneeled down and picked the flower they were both so intrigued in. He laid it down in front of Phil and smiled softly at his new friend.

Phil heard a distant voice calling his name and he couldn't help but frown. His eyes were shut as tightly as possible and he was trying to hold on but it was slipping away...

"Phil! Listen to me!" His mum yelled and suddenly everything was back to normal. "You need to stop daydreaming. One day, it will get you into an accident or something." Phil was hardly listening, his eyes gazing around the area, looking for a boy with brown hair. He was nowhere to be seen. The boy looked down at the bed of grass at his knees and saw a tiny flower.

Dan = someone so perfect he has come straight out of a dream

I don't even know anymore

I have like a question relating to me that I need advice on but it's totally okay if no one responds. Basically, I want to know if saying boys are attractive but not actually 'liking' them still makes me gay? I mean I prefer girls and I have crushes on girls but does thinking boys are attractive make me bi?? And, if I am bi, is it okay to call myself gay?

Okay thanks, enjoy the rest of your dayyyyyy
