This is so random but I need to updateee

Phil was special. He had an ability that not many people can even fathom. He could read minds.

He had managed to keep it a secret for as long as he had lived. He didn't even tell his roommate, Dan, who told him everything. (Not that Dan would need to tell Phil anything.. Phil could just search his mind for it but, of course, he wouldn't do that).

"Phil!" Dan yelled from the kitchen, making Phil reluctantly stand up and walk towards his friend. Dan was holding a box of cereal and, in front of him, was an empty bowl. "Did you eat all my cereal again?"

"Maybe.." Phil mumbled, looking down at his feet, suddenly quite embarrassed.

Dan groaned, slamming the box of cereal down on the side. Phil turned, squinting his eyes a little.

'He better buy me a new box' He heard Dan think.

Well.. that was exactly what he was going to do.

Phil gently replaced the empty box with a brand new box of cereal. He then backed out of the room and into the living room where Dan was sitting, watching something.

"Are you okay?" Phil quietly asked, slightly afraid to anger Dan more.

Dan just shrugged so Phil decided to look in his mind again.

'No, I'm not okay.. how does he not see that?'

"Come here..." Phil mumbled, opening up his arms.

Dan slowly stood up and buried his head into Phil's warm chest. "I'm just really stressed..." He mumbled, letting out a small sniff. "I need to upload a video and I just don't have the time."

"I know, Dan but you can do it!"

"I can't.."

"You can, I'll help you.."

Phil momentarily gazed into Dan's head.

'I wish I could just kiss him right now.. he's just so pretty and nice and ohmygodIlovehim'

Phil furrowed his eyebrows and moved back a little. "Let's go film a video!" He said. But he didn't seem as enthusiastic.

How did Phil miss it? It was so obvious that Dan was in love with him and.. he loved it. Dan would forever stare at him, making the 'heart-eyes-Howell' facial expression. He would always laugh at Phil's stupid jokes, even if they were truly idiotic.

How did Phil not realise? He could read minds and it took him 6 years to realise his roommate was in love with him.

He was so hooked up in his thoughts that, when Dan stared at him, expectantly awaiting Phil's witty response, Phil turned his head and pressed his lips against Dan's.

It was amazing. They had been waiting to kiss for 6 years and it finally happened!

Dan pulled back in his eyes were wide with shock and his face was red in embarrassment. "What was that?" He said, his voice quite small.

"I kissed you. Dan, I'm in love with you."

"Are you actually?"

"I am."

"You're not joking around? This isn't a prank?"

"Just shut up, Dan." Phil giggled, before leaning and pressing their lips together again.

I was going to make this one shot have a moral but then I thought does anyone care about morals?? No?? Okay.

It's my birthday soon (obviously as well as Christmas) and I don't know what to ask for so I need inspiration!
