Clumsy
I'm typing this despite having hurt my finger. This took like triple the time it usually takes me to write a one shot and it isn't even that long. I guess it's worth it though.
"I swear, you're so clumsy." Dan chuckled, shaking his head in a sarcastic way. "And you leave shoes and random stuff all around the house... not a good mix."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Phil pouted, watching his friend as he laughed loudly to himself.
"It means that, one day, you'll regret leaving all this random crap around the house."
"I won't!"
-
Dan was sitting in his bedroom, filming a video when he heard a small yelp. Dan immediately jumped to his feet, running towards the sound, rather concerned. He ended up finding his best friend, laying on the floor and clutching his wrist in pain. He wasn't exactly crying but his face was yelling in excruciating pain.
"What happened?" Dan said, breathing heavily.
"I tripped over my shoe." If it wasn't so serious, Dan would have burst out laughing.
-
"I told you so." Dan muttered as they got into the taxi. "I just knew you'd injure yourself."
"But I didn't think I'd break anything!" Phil whined, leaning on his friend's shoulder.
"You're such an idiot."
"I know."
-
"Dan..." Phil yelled with a slight whine in his voice. He was trying to get changed but there was an issue. He couldn't quite get his shirt over his cast with one hand.
"Yes, Phil?" A voice responded.
"I can't get my shirt off.."
"Do you need my help?"
"Yes, please." The door slowly opened, revealing a flustered Phil who looked more awkward than ever. Dan slowly lifted the shirt over his friend's head and laughed loudly. "I'm happy to see that you have changed your trousers."
"Dan!" Phil giggled, blushing slightly.
"What? I was just thinking aloud!"
Phil shook his head. "Get me my pyjama shirt?"
Dan smiled mischievously and muttered, "Do you need it? It's quite hot in the apartment."
"Do you secretly like what you see?"
Both men let out loud laughs and Dan helped Phil put on the shirt, ignoring Phil's question.
-
"Dan, I can't find my-" Phil started but he cut himself off with a tiny scream. He waited to fall to the ground and feel immense pain.. but it didn't come. Instead, two long, strong arms were holding him.
"You never really learn, do you?" Dan laughed as Phil managed to get out of his arms and stand up again.
"I'm sorry!" Phil's heart was pounding inside his chest, his cast covered arm held close to his chest. "Thank you for saving me."
"No problem. If I didn't help you, you'd be flat on the floor with another broken bone."
-
"Dan, I'm struggling." Phil yelled, his voice slightly shaking.
"Phil.. anything but this-" Dan started but rolled his eyes and walked towards the bathroom door.
"I can't wash my hair!"
"Then don't-"
"I need to."
"Fine but I'm closing my eyes!" Dan squeezed his eyes shut and pushed open the door.
"I'll hand you the shampoo and you can put it on my hair, okay?"
"Okay." Dan took the bottle and squirted some of it into his palm. He blindly started to massage it into his friend's hair until it was enough.
"Would you like me to shower it out too?"
"Please?"
-
Phil got home from getting his cast off and grinned widely upon entering their apartment. He bent down and untied his shoes. He slipped them off the feet and left them neatly by the door. Dan smiled and said, "Finally learned from your mistakes?"
Phil didn't say anything but he rolled his eyes with a tiny giggle.
This is just something random I wrote. It was inspired by me hurting my finger and having to go to hospital because I swung on my chair and ended up hurting myself. I have yet to actually stop swinging on my chair but oh well
Have you ever broken anything?
Nope but I have sprained my wrist twice and really hurt my finger XD.
