Damian dating a scarlet witch reader imagine
- you were under the wing of John Constantine
- He was your 'uncle' to what you referred to
- He met during a mission he so famously gets into and discovers you as you were part of the prophecy of the reborn version and entity of the Scarlet Witch, a magical entity of "unfathomable power"
- During the battle he had somehow contained your powers
- being powerless and no home he took you in, you were somewhat homeschooled (he cast spells to help you learn faster from time to time, he cheats ;). You were a bookkeeper of some sort, you looked after the books in the House of Mystery.
- the first time you and Damian met was when you were around 14-15 years of age. His father and he had stopped by the house of Mystery to get help from John on a case regarding magic.
- "Oi, y/n!" John shouted as you huffed putting the last book on the shelf and made your way to the lounge. There you halted in your tracks and widen your eyes when you saw Batman and Robin seated opposite to John who was boredly sprawled on the couch.
- "you could have mentioned we had visitors," you sighed.
- "whose s/he/they?" Robin inquired sternly
- "That is y/n, yeah you see tiny batsy, when ya' know batsy senior here he kinda rubs on ya. This is my niece. Niece, meet junior and senior batsy. Now that we're all acquainted what is it that ya need? I'm missin' the footy for this," John gruffed.
- "hi," you oddly waved and made your way next to John.
- "Does s/he/they have powers?" Batman immediately questioned.
- "No," you quipped.
- "How old are you?"
- "Stop questioning my niece," John groaned.
- "Uh, I'm 14/15," you answered raising a brow feeling interrogated, "So what do you need?"
- Batman began to explain about the case, how this odd new villain was a magic user and started to describe how his magic worked and the runes that were left behind. You listened carefully but couldn't shake off the feeling of how Batman's protege, Robin, didn't stop looking at you.
- "Sounds like demon shit," John sighed.
- "What colour were the runes left behind?" you asked.
- "Red when they were cast, but turned black once they were used," Batman said showing you a picture of them.
- "I've seen them, I think there's a book about them in the library," you said. "There might be a way to pinpoint the user and energy type if you know how to track it from memory."
- "You know what?" John stood up and yawned, "I think lovely niece here can show you. I, however, need to return and watch the footy. I have a bet and need to know if I need to reverse anything... bye!" he cast a portal and walked through it. The three only deadpanned knowing John's nature.
- "uh... if you can follow me..." you trailed and lead them upstairs where the library was. You stopped before the entrance and got out a twisted pen-shaped twig with a gem at the end. "Wrist."
- "Excuse me?" Robin exclaimed.
- "You won't be able to enter the library. John cast a protective barrier spell a year ago. We've had... a lot of unwanted battles and people coming into here. Don't worry you won't feel anything," you reassured as you showed them your wrist and the rune. "It'll come off after you leave the house."
- Batman and Robin exchanged looks, assessing if you spoke the truth. You raised a brow and sighed. "It's literally a bunch of twigs wrapped together and a low-class gem. Here you can inspect," you hand over the item to Batman as he scans through it. Seeming satisfied he hands it over to you and flips his arm so you can write a small rune and it glows. Batman looks at it waiting for something to happen and nothing does.
- "your turn," you look to Robin. Hesitant he flips his arms as you hold them for a steadier surface. Robin began to turn away and as you finish you look up to see his cheeks a bright red. You're eyes widen in worry. "Are you alright? Is the rune hurting you?!"
- "N-no," he expresses as Batman only smirks, the rare ones but you didn't even could catch a glimpse as when you turn to him it disappears.
- "Uh, well if you say so. Let's go in," you gesture and you and the other two follow. You manage to find the book as Batman skims through it. "Thank you, if you may I take photos?"
- "You probably already did, but honestly you can take it," you shrug, "Just give it make when you're done-, oh and don't cast spells I guess."
- "Thank you... we might need to call over you and John some time. We might require more assistance," Batman suggested.
- "What?!" Robin exclaims whipping his head to Batman.
- "Do you have something against me or something?" you question Robin putting a hand on your hip.
- "n-no.."
- "As I said, we might need more... assistance," Batman concluded.
- "Do I get to see the Batcave?!"
- "You might as well, I rather have you writing runes in the cave rather than in my house," Batman says.
- A month later you and John were invited. You found out that Bruce Wayne was Batman, and concluded that all the other wards and family members were related to either some form of Robin, Batgirl or another appearing protege.
- "I knew Batman was rich!" you exclaimed walking up the stairs to the manor as John rolled his eyes.
- "I thought you already knew Bruce was Batman," he scratched his head as you stop in your tracks.
- "You knew this whole time?!"
- When you rang the doorbell you waited a minute before an older figure revealed himself. "You must be Master John and Miss Y/n, welcome. I'm Alfred Pennyworth," he did a small bow with his arm over her chest, "I'm the butler, Master Bruce is in the Batcave."
- "They have a butler!" you turned your head to John, "And he's British-, do you have abilities too?!"
- The elder man chuckled as John embarrassed, facepalmed himself.
- Alfred lead you in the manor as you kept looking at everything, adoring the architecture and interior of the house. He finally showed you the grandfather clock and the hidden passageway to the Batcave. You marvelled at everything, the glass cases of previous designs, the hanging rocks, the batmobile and-
- "they have a fricking dinosaur..." you mumble as you looked at the large green t-rex.
- "John, y/n," you turned your head and saw Bruce in a black long sleeve shirt and pants and another familiar figure next to him. He was at his father's shoulder height, had caramel-like colour skin and the most vibrant green eyes you had ever seen. Then you placed it.
- "Batman and Robin right?" you pointed.
- "Just call me Bruce," he smiled which caught you off, you were so used to the broody Batman demanour. But then again, it was nice to see he was human. You turn to Robin who looks at his father and he nods. Sighing he walks up to you and extends his hand, you take it and shake it as you see him blush slightly. It was cute you thought.
- "Damian," he greets.
- "Y/n-, but you already know that," you smile.
- John glares and moves your hands away from each other, "Righto, enough hand contact. We don't want germs do we now? And we can't leave any fingerprints, we don't want them going through your search history do we now?" he declares as Damian shoots daggers at him and you only giving him a are-you-serious look.
- "My search is fine... unlike yours," you tease.
- "We should probably get started. Damian can show her around or something while we start figuring out how to track our guy," Bruce said.
- "Wait what? I ain't leaving my kid with him!" John points to Damian as he crosses his arms.
- "Why not? Damian is perfectly capable," Bruce defends, "And you said it's best not to have kids around with the rune powder we're using."
- "So why was I told to bring her?" John says
- "She said she wanted to see the Batcave," Bruce says as John looks at you and gives you an are-you-five kind of look.
- "Uncle John, what's the worst that's going to happen?" you cross your arms. Everyone looks at John waiting for his answer.
- "Fine, whatever," he groans rubbing the back of his neck.
- At first (half) it was awkward between the two of you, he showed you around the gardens and the manor. In the second half, you met one of Damian's pets, Titus, it was safe to say that you had fallen head over heels for the canine. Damian allowed you to play with him in the garden and soon got Damian playing. Titus would chase you and Damian through the garden as Damian guided you, running between the bushes and whatnot.
- Titus jumped on you and started tackling you in licking your face, taking Damian a while for getting Titus to listen and get off you.
- "you set this up, huh Batsy," John gruffed watching you guys play and for the first time Damian laughing.
- "Mhmm, I didn't know it would turn out great," Bruce smiled at his son.
- "I want your broody son back, it's revolting having him near my niece," John glared, "If he breaks his/her/their heart after y/n gives him a piece of his/her/their mind, I'll give him a piece of mine."
- "uh-huh," Bruce half responded.
- You had stayed in the manor for a few more days, turned out the tracking spell took longer than expected. You and Damian got along and enjoyed each other's company.
- The day you guys had to depart Damian and you stood in front of each other as John was whining to Bruce. Damian rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, "It was nice," he bluntly said. "Hanging out with you I'll admit."
-"Thanks..." you laugh as you hug him abruptly as Damian first hesitant, slowly and awkwardly hugs you back as he leans his head on yours. John only spots the two of you as he glares.
- "Oi! What did I say about leaving fingerprints?!" he yells as you jerk and retaliate back.
- "Well uh-, see next time."
-"Same," he mumbles as you wave and begin to walk down the steps. Damian looks back at Alfred giving him a nod as he stands proud and smiling as Damian runs after you. "Y/n!"
- You turn back just reaching the bottom of the steps, "Yeah?"
- "W-," he stammers, "Would you like to watch a movie with me-, perhaps the movie you showed me that's coming out next week? I'll pay," he offered as your eyes widened. After taking everything in for the past few seconds your eyes softened as you nod.
- "I would love that," you smile as you walk up the steps to him and give him a quick peck on the cheek, backing away you see his cheeks grow to a vivid shade of pink/red. Bruce stands proud and smiles genuinely at his son, vividly contrasting to John who is just taken back by the scene.
- "Alright! You're grounded!" John declares marching past Damian and towards you.
- "What?!" you and Damian exclaim.
-"Y-yeah," John stands shocked about what he had just said but shakes it off. "Yeah! That's right! You heard what I said! You're grounded-, ugh I sound like a parent," he mutters the last bit.
- "Why am I getting grounded?" you fire.
- "Cause you're going on a date with him," he gestures his hands to Damian who only glares back.
- "What's wrong with him?"
- "I would like to hear an explanation too," Bruce steps in.
- John just looks back and forth as he groans
- "He's a tiny batsy! Eh? He was an assassin!"
- "You literally had sex the other day with a half-fish woman when you were drunk!"
- "How did you know that?!"
- "You're not exactly that quiet! Not to mention your other choice of in... intercourse partners," you trail. Everyone looks to John as his face moulds an annoyed expression.
- "fine, whatever. But you're making your own way here," he crosses his arms.
- "I can literally portal here," you raise a brow.
- "No, no magic for you."
- "I can pick her up," Damian offers.
- "From Gotham to Kentucky-, pff as if," John snickers
- "For her, yes," Damian states as you were taken back by the statement and blush as John glares, he turns to you and says:
- "See! Look at him! He's using his... Gotham charms that all these people are born with... with their jawlines, George Clooney lips... and money-, Hey! See another reason! Money is the root of all evil!"
- "you literally gamble every weekend!"
- "Right, right. Whatever, do whatever you want," John sighs in defeat. "You hurt her I'll send you a portal to hell."
- "I've been there," Damian tilts his head with bored eyes.
- "right, uhh... I'll think of something. Whatever, just don't get her pregnant or whatever. And uh.. don't let me catch you having sex-,"
- "Uncle John!" you scold.
- "What you rather have me telling you not to have sex?"
- "Oh my god-, let's go. Bye Damian! Bye Mr Bruce, bye Alfred!" you wave and drag John away as he conjures a portal.
Part two?
