Yugyeom's POV

I finally made it to Jaebum place. Walking from the dance studio to here isn't the easiest thing. Sometimes I wish that Bambam would use his car more often, cause he sure does take it for granted. Why does he like walking so much? It wasn't much of a mystery to me anymore as to why Bambam was so skinny and lanky. It was because he walks everywhere.

Just because he likes to walk doesn't mean I like to walk...

So, I stood at the door, slightly panting of how tired I was from dancing at practice and walking a long distance. I just wanted to sleep. But here I am, waiting to accompany Bambam back home.

Ugh, more walking...

I knocked on the door, waiting for an answer. I could hear the distant chatter from the other side slowly quiet down and get replaced by some shuffling.

The door opens and I'm met with Jaebum's face. He looks at me.

"So I'm having more company?" Wow, someone seems annoyed.

"Nah, I came here to pick up Bambam." I looked over his shoulder to find my baby.

Jaebum sighed and called out into his living room. "Bambam, Yugyeom's here to get ya!" He left the front door open and walked over to his living space. I assumed that it was okay to come in since he knows me and all.

I step into the room to find the whole gang there. They were all talking to one another and Jackson was laughing here and there because of his jokes like always. Youngjae was the first one to notice my presence and made the rest of them look up at me. I waved my hand as a greeting and leaned against the wall. Bambam stood up.

"Oh well, I guess I'm gonna go now."

"Wait, Yugyeom don't you want to stay for a while?" Jackson spoke up.

"Actually, I need some rest after today. I'll pass guys, sorry."

"Alright. Rain check it is then."

"Thank you guys for everything. See ya later." Bambam waved and came over to stand next to me.

They all bid their goodbye to us. With that said, I took Bambam's hand into mine and exited through the front door. Before I could shut the door I hear Jackson squeal.

Bambam and I traveled hand in hand back to the apartment. The streets were quiet and dark. There was a void of movement and sound. It was like everyone disappeared. Of course one would know that at this time of night everyone would be at home, either sleeping or lounging around their houses. My eyes take in our surroundings while my senses sharpen in caution. All I could hear was the sound of our footsteps echoing throughout the silent night. Anyone walking by themselves would be spooked by the environment. Thankfully, having Bambam's warm hand in mine seemed to bring my paranoia at bay.

"Everything looks eerie..." Bambam spoke out loud, reading my thoughts.

"Who knows maybe a monster would pop out at any moment." I smirked at him.

"Who knows? Maybe Namjoon would jump out and-"

I let out an irritated sigh. I didn't want to think about Namjoon at all.

"Bambam can we not talk about that?"

"About what?" He continued to look forward, acting oblivious to the conversation at hand.

"You know, The whole Namjoon-Jungkook situation."

"Why not? It's something we need to discuss."

I rubbed the bridge of my nose in annoyance. "Because I don't want to think about them right now."

"But Yugyeom aren't you worried? They could be tracking our movements right now and anything could happen at any minute." Bambam scanned his surroundings in fear. I took notice that he was really worried so we stopped. I knew he wasn't going to calm down until I did something about it.

"Cause I want to enjoy our time together when we can." I looked at his eyes.

"But Yugyeom-"

"No buts, Bambam. This is my problem and this is the way I want to deal with it. Can't you respect my decision?"

"No, cause it's so selfish! Have you ever thought about what I feel?" Bambam's eyes glisten in anguish.

"I think about you every moment of my day, how can I not?!"

We both stared at each other. Bambam looked at me wide eyed, my declaration catching him in awe. My mind takes in both decisions, valuing them. With my knowledge, there was only one choice to do.

"Baby, trust me, I don't want something to happen to the both of us, but this decision is for the best. We'd be better off avoiding them than doing anything about it. There's nothing we can do..." I reasoned. "They always win."

"But don't you see Yugyeom? They want you to think like this. They want you to give up. But we can't give up now. This is our chance to win. We can stop them and prove them wrong."

Bambam looked at me with hope in his eyes. He's so innocent. Here he is, believing that doing something about it would solve all of our problems. He has the mindset of everyone that hasn't been tempted by life has drilled into their head since they were children.

"Fight for what you believe in! Everything will work out in the end if you do the right thing!" They would tell us...

But I wasn't sure if I could tell him that the world isn't as nice as he thinks it is. Life is cruel. It throws obstacles that are meant to make you want to give up. They get harder and harder as you progress, making it difficult to find an ideal solution to them. The only logical thing is to give up and give in. If you can't beat them, join them, right?

But who says we can't beat them?

I pushed that thought away from my head. There's just no use in fighting for a cause that's already lost.

"Bambam," I sighed. How could I distract him away from this topic?

An idea popped into my head. I looked around us just in case.

I've always wanted to try this...

I leaned in for a bold move and kissed his lips. He stood there in shock but thankfully he quickly took notice of the situation and gave back a response. Our kiss turned into a make out session. In between breaths, he would warn me that we were outside, out in the open. But despite the fact that he was trying to calm me down, the idea only excited me more. Just as I thought, he was irresistible. He was a drug, and I wanted more.

I lead his back against the nearest wall. My hands roamed around in muscle memory. My tongue searched for his weak spots. I seemed to be doing the right thing cause the next thing I knew his legs wrapped around my waist. One of my hands held Bambam's legs in place while the other one felt the softness of his neck, cheek, and hair. We were both clearly enjoying ourselves to the fullest. Although it didn't last long for Bambam to stop it all.

He pushed my shoulders away and held them at a safe distance. We both panted at each other as we take in our appearances. Bambam looked around to see if anyone saw us while I continued to take in his flushed features to remember them for another time.

"Yugyeom we need to stop." Bambam was the first to speak. He looked at me nervously. "I'm not sure if I'm ready to continue this and I can't pay attention when we are outside in risk of anyone seeing us, especially..." He stopped before he could say anything else but I knew what he was going to say.

"Especially if Jungkook and his gang see us? Especially when Namjoon can get us at any moment? Bambam, I lived in fear of them for years! I know how it feels, but I'm tired of feeling scared anymore. I don't care about it and I want us to pay attention to each other and not to them."

"But I care and I'm still not ready!" Bambam counters. "Please Yugyeom, just not now..."

A sigh escapes my lips. It was no use, he was stubborn. I backed away. "Fine."

"I'm sorry Yugyeom-"

"Let's just go home."
