Yugyeom's Pov

Bambam likes me,
Bambam likes me,
Bambam likes me,
Bambam likes me,
Bambam likes me,
Bambam likes me,

Bambam likes me ...

That phrase has been repeating itself over and over in my head. Every time it never fails to put a grin on my face. I can't believe this is happening. The mere fact that just a few hours ago we were obscuring our feelings and the next we let them all out in the open amazes me. I never imagined how good this could feel.

How was I so blind in seeing my feelings? How could I not see the somewhat obvious signs of affection I developed for Bambam?

Signs like the rooftop scene...

I leaned towards him. My hands automatically moved to his lips. My fingertips stroked softly against the soft skin, eyes focused on the beautiful shade of scarlet on his lips. I stared into his eyes, taking noticed that they were dilated slightly. My hands goes down slightly, but his body stays put.

Bambam lips move to speak, but I couldn't listen to him since his entire being infatuated my soul at this moment. I felt myself leaning in, finding that Bambam was doing the same...

Breakfast...

Bambam's fingers come around his cup and begin lifting it up to his cherry lips. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down...

Every, single, sip, he, took...

Anytime we hung out with his friends...

Bambam speaks up after his laughter turned into giggles. My eyes turn to look at him. His cheeks still had a reddish pink color painted onto them and his bed hair was ruffled more as the day continued on. A huge grin crept over his features as well, proving the topic itself was more than mildly interesting.

He looked so beautiful...

And they knew...

He saw what I was doing.

"What have you been up to these days?" He puts his head him his hands as he humorously smiled at my distress state. His eyes made a gesture to look at you-know-who again. My eyes returned to look at said person. I look back at Jackson. Even though we were making eye contact, it was like I already knew what he wanted to say without even saying it.

After all this time, where fond was shown excessively throughout our timeline together, how was I so oblivious?

I even fucking kissed him the second time we met!

I'm so stupid.

My thoughts engulfed me for a while, but they were interrupted by Kunpimook himself. Before it would mean nothing if Bambam walked into the room, but now that I realized how much I liked him, I never thought someone could look so good walking out the door.

My feet lead me to him. My arms directed themselves to wrap around him. My lips couldn't help but peck his cheek. All of my body reacted to come closer to him, as if it was natural.

Bambam didn't do anything. He probably was still tired since waking up. I decide to shrug it off as if it was nothing. Instead of dwelling on the idea, I offered something to wake him up.

"Do you want some breakfast?"

Bambam sleepily nodded, rubbing his eyes and yawning. I chuckled.

"Well, come on and help me. I'm not your mom who does everything for you." I joke with him and grab his hand. He still didn't react.

I pulled him besides the counter. He stared at nothing mindlessly. I waved my hand in front of his face.

"Hello?' No answer.

I pick him up effortlessly and place him on the counter. I hand him some ingredients to hold.

"Here, give them to me when I need them." I smiled at him, loving how small he seemed when sitting on the counter tiredly. He looked like a kid. I couldn't help but giggle. Wasn't he supposed to act older than me?

Bambam just stared at me as I cooked. He did as he was told, handing me the ingredients at the right time. By the time breakfast was done, Bambam grabbed his plate and followed me to the table. We ate in silence since Bambam was still too tired to speak. I didn't mind, though.

A phone ding resonated through the apartment. It came from Bambam's room. He made no gesture to go get it.

"I'll get it..." I stood up to get the device which continued to make noise.

Upon entering his room, I picked up his phone and looked at his lock screen. It was a picture of him and his mom on an elephant. I chuckled, before taking a look at the messages sent to his phone. All of the sounds came from Jb and this group chat called 'Got Seybun?'.

<JeiBee>

Hey r u up?

<JeiBee>

BAMBAM WAKE YO ASS UP BOIII

Got Seybun? <Mark>

Bambam please answer soon

After reading the messages that were displayed on the lock screen, I finally decided that Bambam can handle this. Just reading the texts and who they were from made me confused.

I walked back to the kitchen. "Hey, you got a message from Jb and Got-um..." I paused at the kitchen entrance. "I think it's pronounced Seybun? Who's Seybun?"

"It's a funny story." Bambam finally decided to speak up. He turns his body to face mine and sips on his drink. "We were playing goldfish once and Jb decided to ask Jackson for a card. Jackson wouldn't give it to him unless he completed a dare. The dare was to make JB speak English and ask if he had any sevens because that was the last card he needed. Long story short, JB ended up saying 'Got Seybun?' in his thick accent instead of 'Do you have any sevens?'. We laughed so hard that day. Jackson thought it was a funny idea short after to put it as our group chat name so we'd never forget."

"Oh," A smile appeared on my lips. "That's so funny but clever at the same time." I hand Bambam his phone.

"Yeah, I guess." He looks at his phone the whole time as he unlocked it and began typing back a response for them. I take a seat and continue to eat breakfast. My eyes watched his laid back attitude dictate his body.

His eyes dragged their gaze away from the phone to take a look at me. "Um, Jackson, JB, and Mark are asking if we would like to join them today. They are just hanging out right now, but they would like to meet us at a restaurant later to meet someone."

"Who?" I inquired.

"I don't know. All I'm getting is that they are someone 'special', thanks to Jackson." Bambam clicked the power button to lock his phone. Soon after, another infamous ding sounded once more. Bambam sighed, briefly reading the text before handing it to me.
"Jackson sent me more information about this 'special someone'."

The text read:

<DON'T ANSWER>
Okay so like i think this is the guy jb has a crush on! he talks about him a lot, but would never tell me his name. they met just recently tho... :/ but hopefully we will find out more soon when we meet him

<DON'T ANSWER>
Lik e if hes cute or nah 😏😉😘

I roll my eyes at the text and hand Bambam his phone back. He pockets it.

"Sure, I don't mind going."

"Same here. I thought it'll be good since we have nothing better to do and we haven't seen them in a while..." Bambam responds back, looking down at his socks. He rubbed them together to distract himself.

"I just want to know who the new guy is." I say curiously.

He looks up at me. For the first time this morning, his eyes made contact with mine. We held our gaze for a while. The emotion coming from his eyes are different. They held a special feeling, but it was restrained back. It looked like he wasn't letting it come through. As if a transparent wall was placed in front of it. Everything felt real when you looked into those eyes. It really did look like it hurt. I felt bad for whatever was holding him back. Why can't he talk to me? I wanted to have all of him. But, just like what shone in his eyes, his feelings were painfully inhibited. All of the truth that was in his eyes made me feel heartbroken.

The emotion was there, but I couldn't have it yet.

Bambam shrugs off my question and finishes his last bite before cleaning up his space. He takes the dishes and leaves them in the sink. His back turns around so he could face me.

"I'm gonna go change, I'll meet you out here when I'm ready and we'll head out. Ok?"

I look up at his face to see if he would look at me once more. His gaze resumed ignoring mine.

"Ok." I mumble, looking down at my feet. At the corner of my eye, I see Bambam's retreating figure disappear to his bedroom. The door clicks silently behind him.

No goodbye kiss? My mind teases me in order to lighten up my mood. It was no use.

I sigh and put my head in my hands. My palms rub my closed eyelids as I thought about what just happened a few minutes ago. Bambam's interaction is a bit off, anyone can see that. Despite all of my attempts to lighten up, it bothered me. Even if you were fawning over the guy about how cute he was, you could still tell something was wrong. But I don't really know why he's acting so distant. I wish he would share what was on his mind with me. I wish he would come closer. I know we were just friends, so it's going to take a while for us to get used to things. But now I need to remind him that it's ok because now we're...

Wait, what are we? I lift my head out from the folds of my hands.

"Is that why he's a bit off this morning? Because we don't have a label for ourselves?" I whispered to myself.

Could it be?

I don't know what label he would like. I haven't thought about that yet since it's so sudden, but I have some sort of idea. I don't want to stay in this weird middle phase where we don't even know if we are dating or not.

I want us to be...

Boyfriends.
