Chapter Fifteen: Fly Away

We did what Ruby instructed, and went through the bathroom window, leaving the Impala, and headed to the address she had given us. It was kind of degrading, if I was an anonymous hookup, and I was sneaking out before they woke. It was isolated from the town, hidden in the woods and was a cabin like she said. There was a light emitting from the cabin, alerting us to someone being home. We came to the door, it had a rectangular window in the door, which allowed Ruby to see Sam peering in. She moved swiftly across the floor, and gripped the door knob tight before swinging the door open.

"Glad you could make it," she remarks, eyeing up Sam before taking a step to the side, which allowed us all to enter the cabin.

"Anna, are you ok?" Sam was the first one to speak, as his eyes landed on Anna, who was sitting unharmed.

"Yeah, I think so," she replies, nodding her head. "Ruby's not like other demons. She saved my life," Anna had cocked her head to Ruby, offering a warm gentle smile.

"Yeah, I hear she does that," Dean retorted, before turning his head to look at Ruby. "I guess, I-" Dean cleared his throat. "You know," he was totally uncomfortable at this moment in time, but Ruby folded her arms over her chest.

"What?"

"I guess I owe you for... Sam," Dean head went in the direction of Sam, gesturing to him, before reconnecting eyes with Ruby. "And just I want to -'' Dean cleared his throat once again. "You know," this was very difficult to watch.

"Don't strain yourself," Ruby replies, knowing that it wasn't a heartfelt speech.

"Ok, then. Is the moment over?" Dean asked, and Ruby inclined her head slightly. "Good, 'cause that was awkward," He turned his back on Ruby, his eyes widening a bit, indicating that their whole interaction was awkward.

"Everything you do is awkward," I rolled my eyes, but he chose to ignore my comment.

"Who's this?" Ruby asked, her arms still folded over her chest, as I spun on the spot to be faced with her. I hear Sam and Anna begin to speak, and have their own conversation.

"Martha Moore, a hunter, and unfortunately, mixed up with these two," I cocked my eyes over to the Winchesters. "And you must be the famous Ruby, who Sam has been telling me all about," my eyes wandered her figure, I must say she was pretty banging. "He forgot to mention how hot you are," I bit my bottom lip seductively, as she arched up an eyebrow for a moment. But the whaling sound that came from Anna made me turn to face her, as I imagine they told her that her parents were dead. Might have had my own conversation, but I can still hear theirs. As she sobbed, she suddenly gasped, inhaling a deep breath before raising her head back up, holding a feared expression.

"They're coming," that was all she said, and then the electricity in the room began to flicker.

"Back room!" Dean went into Hunter mode, and pointed to the back. Sam guided Anna from the sofa, and to the back room of the cabin. Dean went over to the duffel bag he had brought and found a weapon for him. Ruby on the other hand, bolted the front door. I strolled on over to Dean, as Sam came back into the room, closing the back room door, allowing Anna to be kept safe. Dean handed Sam a shotgun, and went to the backdoor to seal it off. Ruby came to the side of me, and began to rummage through the duffel bag, looking for the knife.

"Where's the knife?" She states, eyes locked on the boys, but they both shared a look between one another.

"Uh, about that,"

"You're kidding," Ruby caught on what Dean was laying out, and clearly wasn't impressed.

"Hey, don't look at me," Dean defended himself, knowing that he wasn't the one who lost it.

"Thanks a lot," Sam shot his gaze to his brother, blaming him for losing the knife, but Dean just smiled before turning back around to finish his job.

"Great. Just peachy. Impeccable timing, guys, really," Ruby replies, but a sudden wind picked up from outside. Dean came over and stood in the gap between Sam and I, as Ruby was too my right. It was like a line up.

"Table the discussion for later," I stated to them, as I was too defenseless. Technically, I had my magic and my strength, but they didn't know who I was, and I was undercover. A rattling sound echoed throughout the cabin, as the front door was being vibrated with such a force that it wouldn't last long. Within seconds, the door shot open, breaking the lock off. A sudden wind rushed into the cabin, making my hair and the others flap around for a moment. We waited for a second, and then a very attractive man walked through the door, his blue eyes pierced mine, and his trench coat flapped as he walked through. But there was also a black guy who joined him in his march into the house. Their 'auras' were different from Demons and humans, among other supernatural creatures. I wasn't stupid, Sam told me about Angels, and Castiel, and what he looked like. But being in the same room as an Angel was kind of worrying.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Ruby's eyes fill to black, showing off her Demon eyes. I don't know if it was intentional, or it was out of fear. But the Angels were looking straight at her.

"Please tell me you're here to help. We've been having demon issues all day," Dean states to Castiel and his other Angel friend.

"Well, I can see that," the black angel spoke, his voice kinda sounding posh. "You want to explain why you have that stain in the room?" Clearly he wasn't a fan of demons, and glad I placed a powerful illusion spell on myself. It hid me from Demon, Angels, the whole gang of supernatural creatures.

"We're here for Anna," Castiel spoke, not allowing anyone to comment about the insult the other angel spoke.

"Here for her, like... Here for her?"

"Stop talking! Give her to us," the angel snapped at Dean.

"Are you gonna help her?" Sam asks, but I feel like they were here not to help, but to tie off a loose end.

"No... She has to die," Castiel wasn't sugar coating his true intentions for Anna. He was going to blank out murder her.

"You want Anna? Why?" Sam was clearly surprised, because Castiel's true agenda here was unknown.

"Out of the way," the other angel took a few steps forward, as he was willing to kill us to get passed.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Ok, I know she's wiretapping your angel chats or whatever. But there's no reason to gank her," Dean states wildly, not fully understanding why they wanted to kill Anna.

"Don't worry. I'll kill her gentle,"

"You're some heartless sons of bitches, you know that?" Dean retorted, as what I gathered from Sam, that they were cold, and heartless at times.

"As a matter of fact, we are. And?" Cas seemed to bring his head back up to meet the eyes of Dean.

"And Anna's an innocent girl," Sam raised his voice at Castiel.

"She is far from innocent,"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Sam shot his question as everything seemed to be crypt with these Angels.

"It means she's worse than this abomination you've been screwing," the angel gritted his teeth as his eyes landed on Ruby. "Now give us the girl," he wasn't playing around. Dean and Sam seemed to share a look, a look that they both recognised as a way to situated the situation that they were in, if they really needed to fight or not.

"Sorry, get yourself another one. Try JDate," Dean replied with a smug expression.

"Who's gonna stop us? You three?" His eyes seemed to cast over to me, recognising me as a 'Hunter'. "Or this demon whore?!" He took a few steps forward, grabbing Ruby by the arm and swinging her around and throwing her into the window at the front door. I shot to the left as Dean went to help Ruby.

"Cas, stop, please," Sam tried to plead with him, knowing that he had helped them in the past, but now he was a man on a mission. Cas raised his index and middle finger to Sam's forehead, and he fell like stones, asleep to the ground.

"Castiel, heard a lot about you," I spoke, trying to hold him off, as I clenched my hands into fists ready to fight.

"And I heard nothing on you," he was monotone, not allowing any emotion to show, as he kept on walking forward. He reached out and pressed his fingers to my forehead. But I didn't go down, and he was clearly in shock when I didn't.

"I don't work like that," I used my left hand and punched him square in the face, which sent him stumbling back with the amount of force I put into it. He recovered quickly, as I took a defensive stance, rolling both my hands into fist, and was ready for his attack. However, a blinding light engulfed the room, thunder echoed in my ears, and the flashing of the white light emitted, making me shield my eyes. Within seconds, the flashing stopped, and the deep breathing of Dean came to ear. I removed my head from the crook of my arm, to see Dean kneeling down, as he had been beaten on.

"The angels flapped their wings," I mumbled to myself, as I cocked my gaze around the room, seeing no sign of them. My head was just brought back around, just in time to see Dean help Ruby to stand. Then Sam began to stir awake, groaning as he stretched himself out, feeling the effects Castiel placed on him. The smell of blood rushed through the air, making me turn on my heels to face the door, fresh blood had been split, and the only person in there was Anna. I noticed Dean brush past me, and opened the door.

"Anna," real worry laced his tone. "Anna!" He rushes into the room, and begins to help her. But my mind wandered somewhere else, as I stepped back into the room. Castiel knew nothing of me, and he looked totally shocked when I didn't go down when he used his angel powers on me. What I got from Sam not long ago, they've been communicating with him and the other angel. Now, Castiel will have questions, and might bring it up if he ever does visit again. Though it didn't make me nervous, it did make the thrill of being caught ever so delicious...

........................................

The boys suggested finding somewhere safe, and they had a place in mind, which was Bobby's place. From what they told on the drive over, he had built a bunker in his basement, just in case he became overrun with demons and what-not. Iron walls drenched in salt, devil traps laced with, though the salt nor the iron would harm me, but the devil traps on the other hand, would render me powerless and stuck. I had to be smart, and cunning here, if I don't, I will surely be caught.

Dean, Ruby, and Anna went to the bunker, as Sam was out getting the Impala, and I stayed above, this house was giving off a vibe since I last came tumbling in. Ah, simpler times. But I sat in the living room/library area, a beer in my hand, and my feet raised up on a table. There wasn't much I could really do without leaving, or getting found out. Suddenly, words began to enter my ear drums, they were faint at first, mere whispers, but I knew what the words were. Lucky, there wasn't anyone around. I leaned up, placing my feet down on solid ground, and allowing the beer to sit on the table. I flourished my hand up in a swift manner, black smoke generated from the ground up, engulfing me and sent me on my way.

Soon as the smoke cleared, I was standing in a motel room, a cheap one, but it would give us the privacy it needed. My eyes landed on Alastair, still in his meat-suit he possessed when I saw him at the church.

"Beautiful," he states, eyeing me up.

"Should have left the younger meat-suit on, Grandpa," I remarked, which only earned a chuckle from Alastair. "I only gave you that summoning spell, in case you needed me desperately. I'm deep undercover," I folded my arms over my chest, eyeing Alastair up, as he knew if he was only to use that spell if something major happens.

"Are you with the girl?" Alastair asks, he was referring to Anna. I simply nodded my head to him, as he stood across from me. "Full report," he seemed smug with those words, like I was a low life reporting back to my boss.

"Angels attacked, but they were sent away, in a blinding light. The Winchesters' are currently holding her in a safe-house, as they want to learn more about her, while protecting her from Heaven and Hell," I gave the information that he wanted, though there wasn't much to go on that he doesn't already know. He seemed overall pleased with my little information. "Dean knows you, doesn't he?" I asked my own question, Alastair perks up at it.

"Yes," he replies. "I was the one who tortured him ruthlessly in Hell, it was a glorious thirty years it was," Hell ran at a different time down there, a month on earth equals a decade down there. "Until he finally agreed to end the suffering, the pain, and begin to torture other souls himself to get off the meat block," Alastair was evil beyond comapre, but he did have the flare.

"I bet that eats him up inside," I replied, knowing that he was a saviour of people, and torturing even souls would have stained his heart. "If I find anything more valuable, I'll send you a note," I went back to my purpose here.

"Until we meet again, beautiful," He offered a boyish grin, before I flourished my hand up, the black smoke sending me on my way, and back to the Winchesters...

This was the only way for me to survive, be a spy, work for their biggest enemy the boys considered to be. They were simply a means to an end...
