**Imagine #3- Skin and Bones**
TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF EATING DISORDERS AND SELF HATE also full credit to Marianas Trench for heavy inspo
You locked the door, making sure the water was running from the faucets at high pressures. As your breathing got shakier, you looked in the mirror, pulling your skin and pinching at your sides, memorizing every sliver of fat, and how disgusting it felt.
You slowly leant down over the toilet pulling your hair behind your ears, and lifting the seat. You hesitantly shoved your fingers down your throat, causing your gag reflex to trigger. As the wretched bile heaved up your throat, you heard knocks on the door. You sighed to yourself, readying a simple explanation for the gagging, but soon found it wasn't needed. After you left the bathroom, Dallon simply pulled you into a hug. His strong and lanky arms wrapping around your small and boney frame was such a heartwarming gesture that it caused you to break down in his arms.
"Darling, I thought you had gotten past this." Dallon's warm breath slightly rustled your hair, and you felt him place a light kiss on your scalp.
"I am, it was just a ba-"
"Honey, I'm not upset with you. You can't control this part of your mind. That's okay. We can get you help."
You felt so worthless, but loved while in Dallon's arms. You needed help? Who would ever want to be with you?
"I love you no matter what, and I just want you to be healthy. Please, let's do this together, alright love?"
You nodded your head slowly and so slightly that he wouldn't have known if it wasn't accompanied by an affirming mutter.
"Let's get you to bed for now, alright?"
Dallon flushed the toilet, and lifted you onto the now closed seat. As he did so, he kissed your temple before grabbing your toothbrush and beginning to wash the sweat and residues off your face. After you finished washing up, the tall man carried you in his arms over to your bedroom, dressing you in a larger shirt of his and a pair of his boxers.
"You're beautiful, you know that?"
"Maybe."
"Really. I love you so much. More than you could ever know."
As you both laid in the bed, he rocked you back and forth, muttering sweet nothings into your ears. Dallon was a keeper.
The next months were filled with unmatched encouragement and support, whether it be over just waiting a bit longer to use the toilet, or eating a bit more. It took relapses, but with Dallon by your side, you slowly began to recover.
