Taehyung was really nervous,today was the day. The day he could get scouted by one of the professionals for nationals. For what he loves doing the most,swimming. This might be his last and only chance. He looked around the huge stadium and saw many people,every single seat was filled. He wasn't going against some school but the whole region,he is in regional and this is his only chance to go to nationals,he wants this so much. The competitions is strong,many talented swimmers have came across for this. Taehyung is doubting himself. Can he do this? Is he better than them? Can he beat them?

"Taetae!" Jeongguk said as he walked toward Taehyung, making Taehyung less worried by that beautiful smile of Jeongguk.

Jeongguk reaches Taehyung and quickly wrapped his arms around Taehyung,he put his arms around his slim waist,embracing him in his arms. Comforting him,Jeongguk knew Taehyung was nervous,it was all visible on his face, the furrowed brows with his lips in a pout,his legs fidgeting as his fingers were lingering on eachother. This hug was just to calm him down, they can't show much PDA here since no one knows Taehyung and Jeongguk are dating and they don't want anyone to know too. So Jeongguk just placed a soft kiss on Taehyung neck,Taehyung chuckled and hugged him back,putting his arms around Jeongguk. Feeling just as comforted.

"I'm scared Gukkie" Taehyung mumbled,not too loudly. Jeongguk was in awe at how cute Taehyung sounded.

"There is nothing to be scared of baby,I'm here with you,you don't need to be scared" Jeongguk whispered softly as he rub circles on his back.

"But guk look at them,they all look better than me" Taehyung pointed out as he looked over the other guys who were his rivals. They were all pretty build up and looked like douche's,not lying just simple judgement. Jeongguk pulled away from the hug and kissed his forehead.

"Baby,look at me" he paused as he cupped his face,making him look at Jeongguk. "They might look buff and all but you have the skills Tae,you are faster and better than them,you are the best swimmer in Korea as long as I'm concerned so don't worry. You will win this,it's your match Taehyung. The swimming prince Kim Taehyung doesn't lose and he won't now too,ok?" Jeongguk teased him with his nickname. That's what mostly people call him in school,the swimming prince. Taehyung nodded as Jeongguk words had such a big impact on Taehyung. It made him feel a lot more calmer and motivated. Taehyung kissed him on the cheeks as a thank you.

"Freestyle swimmers,please get into your assigned positions. There will be two rounds. Whoever comes first in second round wins,if you cheat you are disqualified. Now go!" The coach said to them as they all nodded,going into their positions.

Taehyung gave Jeongguk one last smile as he made
his way to his position. He stood up as he looked into the cold water right infront of him. He heard someone scoff,he looked at his side and saw one of those buff guy. He was build a lot more than Taehyung as his muscles could be seen from his tight swim suit. Taehyung rolled his eyes at him as he was obviously flexing.

"Why is a pretty boy like you swimming??" The buff guy asked,teasingly as he smirked.

"What the fuck is that suppose to mean? Can't pretty boys swim? Or are you just afraid that I will beat your ass in there" Taehyung replied with a lot more sass. That guy chuckled as he wasn't even taking Taehyung seriously.

"Easy there! I didn't mean it like that. But I doubt you could beat me,you know what I would like to see you try to even reach me" he said as he put his swimming goggles on. Taehyung wanted to smack him but not now,Taehyung also put his goggles on. "It's on" Taehyung said as he got into his positions,ready to dive.

"On your mark,get set, Go!" A whistle blew,making everyone dive into swimming pool.

Taehyung felt the water splash as he started to move his arms,going as fast as he could, he knows no one should rain all their energy as the start but the guy made him mad and he wants to prove him wrong. Taehyung swam as fast as he could,moving him limbs faster,he tried to look at the guy from the side of his eye but he was nowhere to be seen,instead he was ahead of him.

He reached the other side,as he took a push from the wall. Taehyung felt nervous once again,his nerves were getting the best of him. But no matter how much he tried,he wasn't able to be fast enough. He looked around and saw he was much behind the guy he bet on to beat. He really didn't want to see his ugly face showing him that he lost. Taehyung tried his best to be Atleast passing the other swimmers. He swam a lot more faster and Not so soon after he reached the end.

He got his head out of the water as half of his body was still in water. He looked around and saw almost all the swimmers have reached too. There must be some seconds difference between them. He glanced at the buff guy who was smirking while looking at the board. He also looked at the board to see the results.

4th: PARK JAEMIN
5th: KIM WOOBIN

Taehyung cursed at the board,why the fuck was he second,he gave his best. Who even is this Sooin guy that is better than him.He looked around and saw the buff guy smirking at him. Taehyung swears if it's him,he will jump.

"Nice to meet you Kim Taehyung,I'm Ahn Sooin. I told you pretty boys like you can't win against me" SOOIN snickered, with a proud smug look on his face. Taheyung wanted to punch him.

"There is still one more round left,this isn't over Ahn Sooin" Taehyung said as he stood up and went to the bench as there was Atleast five more minutes in next round. He slumped down on the bench and he grabbed his head. He was feeling so low,it was just one round it shouldn't matter but seeing that proud smug on the face of that guy.

He suddenly felt two arms wrap around his waist,side hugging him. Taehyung lifted his head up to look at who it was,it was his baby who else. Jeongguk gave him a warming smile."baby,why are you sad? You did great" Jeongguk asked him,lifting up his mood.

"I don't think I can do it Gukkie,I can't win against that guy" Taehyung said to him,already discouraged. Jeongguk sighed and looked back at the older. Jeongguk pressed his lips softly against Taehyung's,caught Taehyung by surprise. He heard a few gasps around them but decided to ignore it and melt into the kiss of Jeongguk.

The kiss felt just like their first one,so euphoric so beautiful and so comforting. Taehyung wanted to just pin Jeongguk against them wall and just kiss him the whole day but he doesn't have that much time. Jeongguk pulled away after a little peck.

" You can do this taetae, those buff guys got nothing on you. You are the prettiest and the most talented swimmer,I believe in you baby. Do it for me,you got this, love you" Jeongguk motivated him to do better,both of their foreheads were next to eachother as they looked into eachother eyes,Taehyung looked at him with determination.

"Everyone please go back to your positions!" They heard that so they pulled away. Jeongguk gave Taehyung a assuring smile. Taehyung took a deep breath and walked back to his position.

He stood up,taking deep breath once again. Calming himself down. He looked at Jeongguk one more time and smiled at him,Jeongguk gave him a thumbs up. He really makes him happy,so happy. Before he could feel more motivated,Sooin interrupted him.

"Is that your boyfriend? Jeon Jeongguk is dating you?" Sooin asked him out of nowhere,being too open with someone he just met. Taehyung rolled his eyes at Sooin. Ofcourse he knew who Jeongguk was,who didn't knew Jeongguk at this point.

"Stop talking to me like we are friends Mr.Ahn when we are clearly not. Yes he is my boyfriend so please just focus on what we are here for. I really hope I don't see you after this" Taehyung said to him,clearly stating he doesn't want any friendship with him.

"Oh don't worry about that! You won't have to as I will be winning this and going to nationals" He had a proud smug on his face. Taehyung chuckled and didn't replied. He wants to be focused on himself instead of picking fights with his rivals.

Everyone got on their positions as the match was going to start,this one race could change life on everyone here competing. Taehyung is going to win this,he can't lose,he has his loved ones rooting for him,he needs to win this to prove that he is much more than just a stuck up guy or Jeon Jeongguk's boyfriend. He loves his boyfriend but being known as his boyfriend is a little strange for him.He is Kim Taehyung.

"Ready! Set,go!" The whistle blew once again. Bunch of splashes were heard as all the swimmers went inside the water. Diving into it.

Taehyung was met with water in no time. He moved his arms and started to swim. He was moving in a normal con stand speed,he knows if he moves fast now? He won't have energy at the end. He went through the water. The water hugged him,this was always his safe place. He considered the water something he would love forever. It was very smooth to move,it was like he was almost flying. The water was cooperating with him and so was his body. He reached the other end and took a push from the wall,going back.

He looked from the side of his eye,he saw Sooin. They were right next to eachother,Sooin wasn't ahead of him or behind him,he was just there. He could see Sooin was trying his hardest to pass Taehyung but Taehyung can't let that happen. Jeongguk words rang in his mind.

"Do it for me,you got this,I love you"

He loves him too,so so much. He needs to win this not only for him for those who are there waiting for him to win. He was more than determined. He moved faster,faster than he ever swam in his life. He didn't look at anyone,Sooin or literally anyone. This one is on him and he need to win. He reached out for his hand as he saw the end. He swam very beautifully and quicker. Everyone was surprised to see Taehyung swim this fast. He left Sooin so Behind him.

He finally reached the end as he went outside the water to see he was the only one who have reached yet. Sooin reached some seconds after. He looked at the board.

WINNERS:
1st: KIM TAEHYUNG
2nd: AHN SOOIN
3rd: KIM WOOBIN
4th: PARK JAEMIN
5th: BYUN JAEYONG

The crowd erupted in cheers and aplause for the boy. There were a lot of hooting and cheering,screaming the name "Kim Taehyung" loudly. Taehyung felt proud,a euphoric feeling bursted in his chest. He couldn't believe it,finally he did it. He was just amazed with his mouth opened in surprise.

He looked at Sooin,who looked too much disappointed of himself. He was looking at the board in shock as his arms were curled up in a fist. Taehyung smirked,now it's his turn to flex. He walked towards him.

"Pretty boys shouldn't swim huh? Well you got beaten by one,don't try underdetermine someone's talent Ahn Sooin. It won't end up good for you" Taehyung said to him in a mocking manner. He was having a lot of fun teasing Sooin as the look on his face was priceless.

"Fuck you Kim Taehyung"

"I have my boyfriend to do that" Taehyung told him proudly,making Sooin huff and roll his eyes. Taehyung walked away from him,leaving him alone there.

He saw Jeongguk running towards him,With no seconds after he felt two arms wrapped around him. His boyfriend was in his arms right now,hugging him with his face resting on his shoulders. Taehyung hugged him back the next second.

"You did it!! You finally did it! You made it Tae,fuck I'm so proud of you. I love you so so much" Jeongguk said to him as he kissed his neck. He didn't cared that he would be all wet because of Taehyung. All that matters was his baby's happiness. "I know,it's all because of you. Thank you for being here for me,I love you too" Taehyung replied to him.

Jeongguk looked at him and placed a soft kiss on his beautiful plump lips. Connecting their lips in a soft passionate kiss. Taehyung kissed him back immediately. They didn't want to make out infront of everyone but they couldn't help but move their lips in a sync against eachother. They pulled away as they heard someone scream Taehyung's name.

"TAEE!" He heard his bestfriend yell. Before he could even look back,he felt another pair of arms around him,hugging him from the back. Taehyung chuckled as he saw Hoseok hyung looking at them.

"You did it oh my god!" Seokjin said to him.

"Uh can I join the hug too?" Hoseok asked as he saw Taehyung completely being hugged by his boyfriend and bestfriend. Taehyung smiled and nodded. Hoseok join the hug too. A group hug,these people are the ones who Taehyung won't even hesitate to die for.

"I love you guys,thank you!" He said as they all pulled away. With big smiles on all of their faces,all of them so proud of their Bestfriend.

"Kim Taehyung?" Taehyung turned around to see who said that. He saw a man in suit,looking professional. He must be one of those who scouts swimmers to train them for the nationals in their company.

"Yes that would be me" Taehyung replied.

"I'm Park Daehee,I'm from xxx company. I saw how magnificently you swam in there and won,congratulations for that. I wanted to scout you for our company. We would really like a talent like you under us. Here's my business card,call us on the number if you are interested" The man said all in one breath,he really was excited for this.

Taehyung had this huge smile on his face,it's finally happening. He is going to go to nationals. Taehyung nodded and thanked the man as he walked away. Taking his business card and putting it in his pocket.

"Oh my god, Taehyung how are you feeling after all this?" Seokjin asked him,chuckling at what just happened. Jeongguk looked at Taehyung to what he would say.

"So so happy and fucking thankful for all of you for being here. I love you all" Taehyung said to them.

"We love you too baby" Jeongguk kissed Taehyung cheeks softly,making Taehyung feel a little weird inside. He is so inlove.

"You have to treat us now,lunch's on Taehyung" Hoseok told them,Taehyung shrugged saying let's go. They all walked out of the stadium once Taehyung changed and made their way to a korean BBQ restaurant which was requested by Seokjin himself.

Taehyung has never felt this happy. He had everything he wanted in life right now,these were the best moments of his life. He was on the right path for his career,that is what he loves doing the most. He has the most supportive and caring friends who loves him a lot and last but not least, he has Jeongguk with him. The boy he loves more than himself,the boy who he will die for. Jeongguk show him the things Taehyung never thought he would ever see. He showed him what real love from those you love feel like.

They didn't had good start and things got really messy in between but he got through it all with this ending. He got through it with Jeongguk. He never gave up on him,no matter how shitty things they both did,he never fell out of love,many people got in their relationship but it didn't stop them. It made them to learn to love eachother more. Taehyung would do anything for his Jeongguk and he stands by it.This is what he ended, this is his ending and he wants it be his forever.
