TW: mention of suicide

"You know, I've never broken a bone, but I'd like to start now." Shauna said as the two of them wondered the grounds as usual. "I- what?" Keaka said with their voice breaking as it does everytime they are confused and unable to speak. Shauna always noticed it and ouldn't help but smile everytime it happened. She found there were a few things' Keaka did that made their stomach turn- but not in a bad way, it was good. She couldn't describe it, but she loved it.

"Keaks, I want to break some bones." Keaka looked at them in confusions, going to speak and stopping only to reply with "Why?" They laughed through their speech.
"Because then I can get out of doing stuff."
"Oh okay, fair enough. So how are you going to do it?" They walked in silence as she complentated how.
"I could jumped out the window."
"Um- no. Have you seen how high they are, you'd die."
"Oh well, lets jump then!" They said with emthuiasm, grabbing tightly onto Keaka's hand, Keaks stared down at their hands it made them smile, until the reality of them running side towards a window hit them.

"You're not actually going to jump, right?" They said as they sat on the window seal next to Shauna. Shauna stared out of the window watching the movement of everything- the birds gliding past, the butterflies and dragonflies fluttering around the garden, the bees dancing as they worked hard, the wind on the trees, grass and flower. But out of all of it the one thing hey appriacted the most were the daisies, they reminded them of Keaka. "No, I'm not, of course I'm not."

"Good, honestly, you scare me sometimes. Your so determind and strrong minded." They said glaring into Shauna's soft eyes. "And you were so ready to jump with me." Their face became serious, with a hint of care and worry. "What? I'm fine."
"Then why were you so ready to go down with me?" They said pointing at Keaka, she paid closer attension to every detail on their  face. "I don't know- I'm not, I'm not suicidal."
"Sure." Shauna said brushing under Keaka's eye noticing the eye bags, the triedness and pain in their eyes.

Keaka watched their hand, it was soft and caring, they were speechless. "How many hours have you slept thir week?" There was so much consern in their voice as they removed their hand.
"Ummm. A good amount?" Keaka said with uncertainty, they couldn't even remember the last time they had a proper amount of sleep. With school, chores and late night shifts at the bar, they never had much time to sleep. "Really? Because you look so tried."  Keaka looked away attempting to see their face in the window.
"It's fine, I'm fine. Yeah."
"Mhm, mhm, sureee, very convincing." Shauna said with a wide smile.

"I want to wake up with you everyday fro the rest of our lives." Shauna said breaking the silence, she didn't even notice that she was talking out loud. And similarly, Keaka was half day dreaming and so wasn't focuing on the conversation; still replying with "I wake up at 4:30 am though."
"I want to see you at some point everyday for the rest of our lives." As Shauna spoke Keaka came back to reality, realising what they were talking about "Wait- what?" Shauna strted out of the window, her eyes widened. "I- So, how's life going?"

Keaka began to laugh. "Don't tell me your fulling in love with me?" They jokenly said. Shauna also began to laugh "Pfft- as if."

"Ouch, that hurts. I thought I was your type." Keaka joked, not knowing how right they were, but not also realising how much Shauna was their type. "Ha! Never, I've got standards." Keaka broke down in laughter from Shauna's reply.
"I hate you."
"I love you too." They both laughed as the sunset behind them.

"Ayy! Get up." Said a ruff voice, Keaka opened their eyes to see clothing being thrown at them. They removed the clothing from their face to see Dan standing at their door way. "Dan? It's,, 4 am, what the hell?" He light a candel and walk over to Keaka's bed side, walking carefully around the other ones. "Mind, you dont want to wake the others." Keaka got out of bed, picking up the clothing, folding it up in their arms.

"We got to go." They both left the room and Dan stopped out side the bathroom. "What are we doing?"
"Just get dressed into this, trust me. I'll pack some shit."
"What is-" Keaka was stopped by Dan placing a finger on his own lips and quietly shhhing them.

They went into the bathroom, getting undressed and redressed into the cloths Dan gave them. It was a cheap, poorly stiched, white, long sleeved white dress with a green drapping corset. They walked out to see Dan in a smilar dress, but red. "What are we doing? Why are we waering dresses?"

"Because we have to run, and nobody would expect us to be in dresses. Here." He said handing over 1 inch heels and placing down 6 in heels. He put on the six inch ones as Keaka put on the 1 inch ones. "Okay, we have to hid in the castle."
"What did you do?!" They quietly shouted at Dan in complete fear.
"Nothing, I just stole from a royal shop, now the Royal guards are after me."
"Why afre you dragging me into this?"
"BECAUSE I'M PANICKING." He raise his voice, but till whispering.

They walked out the hous with their relativly large leather pouches. Dan began to speed walk, and Keaka struggled to keep up. "I really don't think heels are for me." They kept stumbling over as they tried to walk normally, let along fast enough to catch up with Dan. "WEAK."

A/N: You know, Keaka. I have a question for you. Are you still going to deny the fact you and Shauna are dating when she kissed you on the last day of school. I was there, I saw it happen. She kissed you and walked away, and you stood there for a few seconds before moving, and your telling me you don't like her? Or she doesn't like you? Or that your dating. I'm on to you.
