Why I LOVED it?

I watched this film for the first time last week, and I was just so charmed by the whole film. It is a beautiful story of growing up, and of friendship. The casting is so perfect, and I fell in love with all of the characters and the antics Anne got up to. It was just a really lovely, well spent three hours of my time. I was transfixed and never wanted to leave the world inside the film.
