Task 1: someone is suffering from depression and/or anxiety, in its first stages, showing symptoms. Write one paragraph, of roughly around 30 to 60 words (you CAN exceed the word limit), giving a motivational speech dedicated to that person, termed X, to make them feel better about themselves. You may refer to the internet or anything else that would help you write a satisfying speech.
Task 2: someone is suffering from a (terminal or grave) illness but they are still on the first stage, meaning that they still have a chance to overcome it. Write one paragraph, of roughly around 30 to 60 words (you CAN exceed the word limit), giving a speech dedicated to that person to make them feel more willing to combat their illness. You may refer to the internet or anything else that would help you write a satisfying speech.
" dear x, i know sometimes you don't have a reason not to be okay and you get tired early and you have so much sadness you don't know what to do with it all. i know sometimes everything hurts and it's too easy to shut people out and hide away and stop trying. i know sometimes nothing feels like enough. this is supposed to be the part where i tell you how you're actually a great person and you should love yourself. it's not. please treat yourself carefully, give yourself time. you deserve to love yourself, but it's okay if you don't know how yet. learn, grow, love, find new people and new things. buy things for yourself, wear clothes that make you feel pretty, get milk tea with the full sugar content for once. empathize with yourself. smile if it makes you feel better, cry if it makes you feel better. better better better until one day you can hold your own gaze in a mirror and think, i feel good today. because you are deserving, you are enough. because you are good, today, yesterday, tomorrow. always. " Dear X, depression and Anxiety are real, two very intimidating words that none of us ever want to imagine being associated with, that none of us ever think will even graze the surface of the lives we like to perceive as normal, the lives we want to mould into something perfect, something ideal and something that society wouldn't have to give such daunting adjectives to, but that doesn't mean you're any less of a human just because you go through them. Being told that depression and anxiety are just a phase can hurt, it can irk you to the point where you want to scratch at your skin because you can physically feel the irritation it brings you, but you know what? It's true. Depression and Anxiety are just phases, you know why? Because they will pass. The dark cloud that is attempting to hover over the beams of success that your life is shining will pass, and the odd feeling you get when you're anxious and you feel like you're falling down a slope will go away. I'm no one to tell you that it's going to be easy, and I'm not going to tell you that it's going to vanish in one day, but for as long as you keep your chin elevated, even if it's just by a centimetre, anxiety and depression will always lay below it. Your chin will rapidly start raising itself and one day you'll look back on your slumped days and remember that it wasn't easy to conquer, but you'll be able to be proud that you crossed that gloomy bridge, even though it didn't happen in a day, it still took place, and you'll be able to use it as a learning curve for whenever else you think you're incapable, or doubt yourself. Even if you have to attempt to look at someone else who's happy and ask them how they get their motivation, you can do that. Remember, the moon shines brightly at night, but it's only a reflection of the sun's rays, yet we still see it as the beautiful body that it is. Asking for assistance, even when you're surrounded by darkness can easily help you see the millions of glistening stars around you. Never hesitate to just stop, take a breath and be alone. It may be scary the first time you do it, being alone with your own thoughts can be intimidating, but if you learn to look at the positive in your life, then it will turn into something liberating. Everyone has a skill, be it writing, singing, an artistic tendency or even public speaking, and you can immerse yourself in whatever skill you do best once you finally discover it and use it to your advantage. Use it to battle your dark cloud. Writing down your feelings doesn't work for or help everyone, but keeping them all to yourself will lead you to slowly imploding. Even if you can only talk to yourself, do so when you feel like you're stuck, and try to find a solution to your problem while repeating to yourself the phrase: "it will pass." I'd like to end this with a personal quote that I made: "When times are dark, never stop smiling. A smile costs absolutely nothing, but is worth millions to the heart that it warms. Look in the mirror and smile. You might just thaw your own heart."

" Letting yourself be distant from others can be the foremost reason for you being in depression, X. You need to come out of your shell and just open up to people around you.. May be you will feel better! Just talk your heart out and don't let the depressive state of your mind take over your willingness to survive. Life is a precious ornament, I know this sounds old school but trust me it's the truth. I am a living example of this, writing helped me to come out of depression because I was loving, what I was doing. You just have to do the same, kill the thoughts that make you depressed and move further with a goal that makes you feel that you are doing something good in your life. See, I am not saying that it will automatically make you normal but one's you relax yourself and your depressed thoughts, you will be nowhere close to being in depression. "

n: genuinely succulently beautiful!
" You might think that you're not worth the fight anymore, that your life is ruined, that there's no way on earth you're ever going to overcome the bitterness, the sadness of getting this disease but if you think that then I think that you've lost all hope of ever getting better and that hope, that determination is what's going to get you to the end.You might think that you should die now,a quick and easy death but if you think that then I say that you've given up,that you've given up on all your hopes and dreams, that they've all been washed away and all you can think about is how you're going to die a slow and painful death but if you believe in yourself,if you have that willpower in you then you will overcome this, you will shine out from the crowd and become the best version of yourself. You see, this isn't some made up lie,it's the truth and the truth is what matters,so the last thing I want to say is that even when you're going through hell, even when you're suffering terribly, keep on going and never ever ever give up because it's that perseverance that'll get you to where you need. " If you are depressed, it's alright to embrace your sadness. Don't run and don't hide from it. Sorrow, misery, pain, guilt, loneliness, all kinds of monsterous depression are met every day to be fought against. Either accept the truth of your reality or forever keep chasing after materialistic facades meaninglessly. Money, drugs, sensual pleasures, in all truth nothing could fill the hole in our hearts inflicted upon by the cruel world. Cry out loud to your heart's content. Find happiness in little things such as a word of kindness, a song of nightingale, scent of lilies or the light of moon on a long night dipping you in. Just know that for every hardship you face in this temp life, you'll have more and more easy and comfy warmth awaiting in the afterlife... Believe in your learnings, in your efforts, stay true to yourself. You will be happy one day. So stand strong on your own, work hard, eat well, sleep well and stay healthy. Then here or in your peaceful eternity, you will assuredly find your understanding pair. May God's grace be with you. "
