If you've never heard the famous glass question: is the glass half empty or half full? If you said half full, you're probably an optimist. If you said half empty, you're probably a pessimist. If you're my sister, and say it's completely full because the rest is filled with air, you're a realist and missing the point.

I think it's a really cool analogy because it shows whether you appreciate what you have, or mourn what you don't. There's a big difference. You can control that.
