Our life is like a candle, burning slowly closer to the end. The wax is the moments. The wax that is molten is the moment that is now. We have the power to shape that wax, to form it into whatever shape we want. But when the moment is over, it is stuck in that form forever, hardening so we can only look back on it, and imagine what the moment COULD'VE looked like. Sometimes, we like the shape it has made. Sometimes, we don't, and we desperately wish we could change it.
