This is something we all need to keep in mind. Are you sacrificing your own happiness for someone else's? If so, make sure it is WORTH it, because your happiness is the absolute most important thing. That other person will get over it.

On the flip side, if someone says no to you because they don't want to say no to themselves, remember to respect that. Everyone has control over their own happiness.
