Don't use the excuse "_____ is better than I am," in order not to do something. If you aren't the best, who cares? You still have opportunity to shine in your own way, and besides, we can't let the people who are best have all the fun ;-).

You will rarely, rarely be the best at something. There will always be someone better than you. And that's ok.
